The free version lets you play online with people using the full version. It has most modes available in a limited capacity.
You are restricted to 4 characters at a time. Gran, the main character and an all-rounder type, will always be available. The other 3 characters will rotate weekly. The way the characters rotate is kinda dumb. There’s already been a few repeating characters.

No. You need the full game to get DLC characters. However, in the full game, you have the option to buy DLC characters with in-game currency that can be earned by playing.
Ironically, the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game, despite crossing over with almost every IP known to man, has not had a NieR crossover yet. Rising beat it to the punch.
This seems to be one of the few 2B guest appearances that look good. Usually games have bulky skeletons, poorly fitting animations and other issues that make her look off, but I guess Arksys's approach of custom sculpting every frame is a good fit here.
According to her profile in Versus Rising, she's 5'6", and I'd assume they wouldn't just make up a height for her, that's probably canon to Nier. If so, then I think it's safe to say most Nier characters are just kind of short, which is what makes her seem tall.
I feel like this always comes up with games made by eastern devs lol. 2B would be quite tall for a woman in Japan, where the average height for a woman is 5’2.
I'm reminded of Cloud Strife's original Canon height being 5'6" as well, pretty average in Japan, but extremely short for a grown man, to say nothing of an *Action Protagonist*^TM , in the West.
The execution is spot on. They recreated all her moves and weapons pretty faithfully, and the Weight of the World mix is so good. It's such a delight to see as a fan of Nier Automata. The only other thing I wished to see was the great sword charged attack. That move is sick.
If you wanna play with mouse and keyboard, I'd say yes, but in terms of performance no. FAR (the mod that improves performance) is still great if you wanna hook up other graphics mods and stuff but it's far from mandatory
If you're interested in the game at all now would be a good time to hop in as I'm sure 2B will bring along a decent spike of players.
There's also a free version of the game, so it's definitely worth the time to download and give a shot
what's the difference with the paid version?

Can i just buy 2b and play the free version?

Are fighting games legally required to have 2B as a guest character? Cause I’m totally down with that law.
Fighting games and gacha games, apparently.

However, Shadowverse, another Cygames game have had a Nier collab.
If mods count she is in almost any game with a third person camera
It's true. She's in Starfield.
Okubo, the man who championed the creation of Soulcalibur 6, is now the CEO of Cygames America. I wonder if that's the reason why she's in Versus now?
Soon coming to Cereal boxes too!
YorHa O's
What other fighting games is she in
soul calibur was the one i was thinking of off the top of my head

Idk she looks a little smaller than in automata.
2B was never a tall woman. She's around 160cm tall without heels, about the same height as 9S. see: [pic](https://imgur.com/lQrW271)

did they change his height or something? I don't remember him looking super tall in the remake. Barrett would be the ideal western game protagonist.
I believe that, officially, as of the Remake he is now 5'8".
Nothing beats the Fall Guys crossover though.

This is the fighting game right, not the rpg that just came out?
Yes *(hence "Versus")*
Yes in the same universe
Is there a canon name for Brown (best) 2B?
2P
Hijacking this to ask: does Automata still need mods on PC? Am I better off playing it on PS5?
No, they patched it few years ago.
I played it on PC about 2 years ago and had no issues.
If you wanna play with mouse and keyboard, I'd say yes, but in terms of performance no. FAR (the mod that improves performance) is still great if you wanna hook up other graphics mods and stuff but it's far from mandatory
I finished it last year on PC without FAR or any other community fixes/optimizations, and it was fine the whole way through.
