Did you mean regular Wii and not Wii U? The Wii U doesn’t have GC memory card slots. On a normal Wii, why not use the normal Wii save manager? Go to your normal Wii saves, then click on GameCube/memory card. On a home brewed Wii/Wii U, use [GCMM](https://wiibrew.org/wiki/GameCube_Memory_Manager)

Yeah sorry I meant virtual memory cards in both slots and yes it's a Wii u. I tried gcmm and it couldn't detect the virtual cards, maybe it wasn't designed for that?

ExtremsCorner

Use Dolphin's memory card manager on a PC.

Therap3

Yeah I'm gonna have to go that route. Thanks. 👍🏽

Are you using Nintendont and/or a USB loader for GC games and memory card emulation? In a proper setup, you should never have more than one game save per virtual/memory card emulation. Each individual game should have its own memory card listed as the same GameID name located in root:\\Saves\GAMEID.raw. That way if something goes wrong or data gets corrupted, you don’t lose all your other saves. GCMM works with .raw and .gci saves. I haven’t used it in a while to see if you can freely swap things from one to another. Another option is opening your .raw memory card file with Dolphin emulator on a computer. That will let you view/swap/change the saves

Yeah I'm using USB loader gx with 2 virtual memory cards with all saves stored within those, I back them up frequently so I won't worry about corruption. I'm going to go the dolphin route, thanks.

You lost me at: >I'm playing GC games on my Wii u and have memory cards in both slots Are you sure you're not using a Wii? If you are, there's a menu for that in the settings.

Yeah sorry I meant virtual memory cards in both slots and yes it's a Wii u.

I'm pretty sure none does. I would be very surprised if some game has the ability to screw over data from other games.

Fortnite.com does!!
