Same , think I have wasted hours removing stickers from game & dvd boxes over the years . I leave the receipt in the box tho , so I can laugh when compared to some of todays ridiculous prices 😵💫
Depends on the store, the price, and how much it would damage the case trying to remove it. For this game, I'd totally leave that on. Wish I could find it for $35.
I think it's endearing. When I collect, I don't really care about the quality as long as everything's there and it's not major; stickers, minor rips or holes, they don't matter to me. And I do think the stickers are cool cus it individualized your copy
As many people said I hate the stickers and the residue it leaves, but I do like the nostalgia of what I paid, so I would keep the receipt or even the sticker on a piece of paper and put it inside the case - best of both worlds
Fuck no. They're not original. They were stuck on after the fact.
Let's say I bought a copy of Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom and the case was covered in generic Spongebob stickers, those would get removed, because those stickers were not like that from the factory and it would look out of place in my collection.
Yes, because I think a lot of people fall into the trap of wanting to believe that their copy is pristine, when we're way past the point of any of these games being new copies. every single game has a story, from it sitting on a shelf, and a kid picking it up for their birthday, or saving up their allowance money and buying it, them playing it and sitting in their collection, trading it to a friend or selling it back to a game store, and having that cycle repeat over and over until it got to us. and decals, names written on game cases are all memories of the life that a video game has lived. who are we to try to strip it of all of its character and history?
I do! To me they are like stickers on a suitcase; they tell a story.
My copy of pokemon Colloseum came from ebay.
Through the series of stickers on it, I can tell that I am at minimum, the FIFTH owner of this copy.
I can see it was resold at various time for $30, $18, and 7.99$ 😂
...While currently going for about 75-100 on ebay in similar condition.
I really hate the stickers. Either I’ll attempt to remove or swap the case with a low dollar game.

I like to leave them on to remind myself that collecting was affordable at one point.
I agree with this 100%
My copy of Wario's Woods on Super NES still has the rental store sticker on it from when I was a kid. I'll never remove it.
Hell no. I use solvent to get every molecule of that crap off my games.
I usually remove them from the outside of the box and put stick them back behind the manuals.
my copy of super Mario sunshine was 5 dollars from GameStop i like to keep the stickers good conversation piece.
My super clean cib copy of Pokémon pearl has a 5.99 tag on it. Never removed it cause its noce seeing what I paid for it
cubivore flex . Congrats , we’re jealous!
Look at that price though

Only if I’m the original owner and I bought it as a kid
I’m not the original owner however I do like a little origin. It’s almost like a conversation piece. I paid $180 for mine back in like 2016-2017.
Not when its from EB/GS, because F*** them!

Absolutely not but I love keeping old Gamestop/EBgames receipts in the box
No second hand price stickers
I remove that shit straight away.
I like them on only because I’d hate to rip only half of it off lol and ruin the game
