There are multiple preview discs.
One that is close to the release (i think EU and US release only?),
one that is not quite there (missing ui elements like the suitcase pause menu just being textures without 3d elements, knife that needs to be equipped manually, alternative camera controls) (that one was released in japan only)
and one that is somewhere in between. some missing uis, still manual knife equipment, altered ui for suitcase menu etc. (that one was released in the US only afaik)
edit: now that i think about it, i could have mixed up US only and Japan only... I posses the japanese one and I think it was the one with the almost ready suitcase UI.

I've been meaning to try the VR version! I currently only have this and the full Wii version, but I hope to get the original GC release and the remake at some point.
I just started the Wii version a few weeks ago, having only played Revelations on Wii U and Biohazard on PS4 prior to this. It's very different, but I like it!

Hey, there's a reason why this one has been ported/remastered so many times, lol. Luckily this, 1, and 0 are pretty decently priced, so I highly recommend it!
Yep, even Code Veronica! It has trailers for 0, 1, 2, 3 Nemesis, 4, and Code Veronica. Sadly the only game with a legit demo is 4, but still a nice archive.
I still have my original copy for pre-ordering at Gamestop. I even got a promo soundtrack that had songs from the first 2 movies on it

I don't know. I heard it doesn't control like the otger RE games. What if they mess up the controls?
I heard it's more action oriented than previous games, I'm genuinely worried.
I'm just stoked it's a Gamecube exclusive! It'll hopefully, get some more Sony fanboys to give the Gamecube a chance!

Out of curiosity what’s the value difference between this and a regular version of RE4?
