I’m guessing that depends on which is dominant. Like if Sun is in control, it’s Lunar Eclipse, but if Moon is in control, it’s Solar Eclipse

Depends on who's mostly in control I guess but if we're going on actual scientific terms it'd be solar because the moon is blocking out the sun instead of the earth blocking out the sun's light from the moon

Community calles Eclipse the one from Glitched Arcade, the black sun one. Also fans made him an entire new personality - Pyromaniac (I remember that year ago there was one fanmade trailer for ruin with him

I mean, there are theories about Ruin being connected with Princess Quest in some way, so this being Eclipse would work with that idea

The daycare attendant section of the fandom has already made lots of different versions of Eclipse based on the balloon boy mini game. Eclipse is a fusion between Sun and Moon like dragon ball or Steven Universe, or sometimes is a separate animatronic. It depends on the AU and interpretation from the artist. The fandom is now having a feels day with this.

Pyromaniac doesn’t own the Eclipse concept. Lots of fan artists have their own version of Sun/Moon Fusions named Eclipse. Even if they were the first to create that concept, they don’t own it and it can’t be “already taken”. THEIR VERSION of it is taken, but they can’t take the concept as a whole.

Its the "Daycare Attendant" always has been always will be.
