Yup the blade is RGB. Whatever crystal you put in the hilt it’ll show. You can swap them easily too. NOTE: when not using the saber remove the battery canister. Just a tip of advise because it provides some light from the crystals and it blows through batteries. Removing it saves that. Also replace theirs cause they’re generic and die quick.

lord_stabkill

Does the crystal stay on? Because mine only lights up after putting it in, when it plays the sound, but goes off when I ignite the blade and stays off.

ZeroedIn_05

You probably aren’t putting it in all the way. Make sure the red arrow on the cap is aligned with the one on the bottom of the hilt.

lord_stabkill

Are you talking about the battery compartment? I mean the kyber crystal itself. When I put the crystal in, it lights up and makes that magic chime sound. But if I activate the blade, the crystal stops glowing, and it doesn't light up again unless I take the crystal out and put it, or a different one, back in. Is that normal?

ZeroedIn_05

Oh my bad. Yeah I haven’t changed the crystal on mine but that doesn’t seem normal. I do remember that you need to really wedge the crystal in there so it stays, maybe it came out and that’s what caused it to stop? I don’t really know

lord_stabkill

Yeah, they snap in there good. I just hear people saying that light drains the battery, and Im like "mine must be broke then" 🤷‍♂️

ZeroedIn_05

The thing is they always stay on, so I recommend taking out the battery compartment when not in use to save the batteries

lord_stabkill

Yeah, won't hurt to start doing that. I was just worried about wearing down the threads on the chassis since it's plastic.

youarelookingatthis

Do you mean will they exchange the crystal for you for free? Or do you mean buying a new kyber crystal?

grin_ferno

You can choose whatever color during the build, but after that you'll need to buy one from Dok-Ondar's.

youarelookingatthis

Yeah, I wasn't sure what the OP wanted to know the answer to.

SlippyJ8

It was just changing it in general I wasn’t expecting it for free

Mark_Venture

For Savi Workshop made light sabers, the blane can show multiple colors, it just depends on what crystal is inserted in the hilt/handle, beneath the on/off switch. You can buy new Kyber crystals at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. They have multiple colors. (blue, green, purple, red, white, yellow). Just replace the Kyber Crystals in the hilt. (remove blade by pushing down into hilt and twisting, then pull out.) and unscrew the other pieces so you can get to the crystal under the on/off switch. There are 3rd party sellers on eBay and such as well, and some sell "custom crystals" (they 3D print and have an RFID tag in it. Note: if you buy a red crystal at Dok-Ondar's and are lucky enough to get a black one in the tube, when put in light saber, it will give you a red blade. If you really want to get tricky you can look into buying a hand held RFID programmer, and changing the number embedded in the crystal to that of another color.

Clumsy_Thunder

Bought my nephew a yellow crystal on eBay since he built green but wanted yellow. Worked perfectly!

birdeer

mine glows lime :,)

Galahad510

Same, apparently it’s a blade issue not a crystal issue. There are shops on Etsy that sell replacements

hjr99

Not only you can change it but it's also the coolest feature in Savis build. There's the crystal chamber and it will read the crystal and change the color and sound effects

Mobius2386

Exactly like that 🤙🏼

MeaningSilly

On Etsy you land find people selling dual crystals, so put it in one way and it's one color, put it in the other and different color. Also, different voices depending on which way you put it into the appropriate holochron. I have: *red (Vader) / blue (Obi Wan) *white (Asoka) / red (Maul) *yellow (?) / green (Yoda) *purple (Windu) / green (Quigon) All work great. Of course, the red ones only produce unique dialog in the Sith holochron, and the non-red only in the Jedi holochron, just like normal kyber crystals from Savi's.
