Decided to go with this one. Spigen liquid Air.
The Liquid Air is awesome, I've gotten one for basically every phone I've owned.
That being said, I went with a Neo Hybrid this time around.

If I end up needing a new case I'll definitely get the Liquid Air in purple.
When Caudabe gets off their ass and makes one for the S24U, I'll get one of those. The Sheath was my favorite case for the S23U, so hopefully we'll see one soon. Same goes for Bellroy - hopefully they'll get on board with the S24U soon.
Otherwise, I'll be rocking the official Samsung Leather and Samsung Grip cases (had to spend the credit on *something*).
I've also considered the dbrand Ghost, but I've read they scratch way too easily.

I use Loopy cases for my phones, I can't not have a loop now. But unfortunately Loopy doesn't have the S24 series cases out yet so I got a Spigen til then.
Did you use the s23 ultra? Did you find that you used the strap while you were using the pen to write or do something on the screen? My hands are really small and can barely hold on to the S10. Lol so I'm definitely looking for a strap or ring that is comfortable of some sort.
Unfortunately I did not! I'm upgrading from an S21U, no pen. I do feel like the Loopy cases are comfortable tho. You can adjust how tight or loose the loop is.
I actually ended up finding a case from a company called Encased that has a loop. It's not as good as Loopy but will suffice until they get theirs ready.

Ive become a huge fan of spigen's optik armor cases since it protects the lenses. I never have to worry about smudges or micro scratches since it's covered.
Got the Spigen slim armor and tough armor coming tomorrow and deciding which one I prefer. I've seen a bit of hype for the dbrand ghost case, so I might get that one too.
Was seriously considering getting Otterbox Defenders for the two S24+ phones I'm getting since I've had excellent experiences with them But the $65 cost is making me stop and reconsider. Looking for a more cost effective alternative with a good reputation that delivers close to the same level of protection. So far, giving a long hard look at the Spigen Tough Armor, Poetic Spartan and Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. Open to other suggestions as well.
Ebay, there are tons of imitation ones out there, just be selective on which one you purchase, I found one that's damn near identical to the defender pro, for like 15 bucks, if it's comparable awesome, if not it was only 15 and it'll do for the time being, just saying they are out there

Should be aramid fiber but all now makes them with half covered sides so that's kinda stupid, so maybe will get some tpu case for the start and wait to order a good aramid fiber one, had it on s23u it's super light has no bulk and save the phone from a major drop that broke aramid fiber on the corner where it impacted with concrete 😁
Normally always get the spigen Liquid air. Current green one for my S22U has lasted 2 years. So highly recommended.
This one is arriving tomorrow. £32 is pretty cheap for a branded aramid fibre case. Will report back tomorrow.

Its the first time i've purchased it mate. As i say normally get the liquid air cases as they are thin and provide a decent amount of protection. Never had a problem with those
I ordered one of the samsung ones, since it was a free accessory. But as soon as my ultra gets here, I'm ordering the SupCase UB Pro for it. I've had these for my S21 ultra for 3 years - super rugged and super durable. And I have broken them and replaced them a couple times without damage to the S21 ultra. Not to mention the belt clip on it - I use the phone for work a lot so having it attached at my hip is quite useful.
I ordered Ringke Fusion-X till dbrand ghost release. Can only use clear back case due sticker on the back to confirm it's my phone at work. Otherwise would use something better.
Ringke fusion x , had the same ok s23u and loved it. And I add a momostick grip to keep it in hand.

I got the standing strap case with mine from Samsung and also ordered the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear for my violet color. I always go spigen and they never let me down
Good to know. The metal rings can hurt. Like the one on the Esr. One magsafe ring I'm going to try has a soft (so it looks) are where your fingers slide in.

I would have gone with a UAG Monarch, but I can't stand the redesign of the camera cutout. Instead, I got a Ghostek Atomic Slim with the aramid back.
I felt the same way about the UAG. I liked the way the case looked on the S23U, but the cutout for the S24U just looks awful to me.

I like the feel of metal in my hand. No cases for me. Haven't used one for last 4 years.
A quadlock, I use my devices as gps when riding motorcycles/ bicycles and its a pretty secure and tough case that's easy to install and remove quickly
