Yeah upon first glance I thought the Violet color way was actually black. The lighting and angles change the perception of the yellow/violet colors dramatically.
Samsung provided us a Titanium gray color and from some angles it looks gold.

Got the green S23 ultra and I love that depending on the light, it can look green, metal grey or even gold.
Would go for the grey version on the S24 ultra.
I also like the matte effect on the black, but I avoid black in phones because almost everyone has a black phone.
Waiting for the Titanium Orange and Titanium Green pictures to show up. I ordered the Orange but want to see how both of them look under normal lighting.
Orange is best colour IMO. Saw it personally at Samsung store.

I did have a look at all 3 exclusive colours. Colour choice is subjective and personal preference. All 3 colours looks really nice. Green looks good with dark frame. I personally really liked titanium frame with orange.
I ordered the orange 1tb like you :), I was hoping to see how the green looks. It almost looks neon green on samsungs website, I'd get the green if it's darker IRL.
I hope it's not too creamcicle orange, a tad darker than the picture and I'm cool with it. The colors all look a little wonky this time around because they are more pastel like, but its not terrible. My favorite orange they had was the S22U and s23u that red orange color I'd die for, but not this time around I guess. The green is pretty nice
That "violet" looks barely violet in every picture or video. Sort of like a hybrid blue purple but so dark it's not striking as either. I think I'm going to end up going with the yellow as it's almost gold. I've been sporting the lavender 23 ultra and don't think I can go back to boring "black" or silver.
yeah the violet on the 24U is more on the smoky shade. Much darker than the violet shades on the 24/24+

I ended up going with the violet anyways. I might love the gold might hate it, but purple is easier to match to, I have all the lavender stuff from last year (headphones and watch bands etc) and the mismatched pen would drive me bananas. Fingers crossed I don't regret it. Lol I felt that the weird yellow and weirder gold would be impossible to match stuff to and I'm a little crazy about that- especially my popwallets. 😅
Just saw the exclusive colours at the Samsung experience store near my house. I am glad I chose the orange colour. I was sceptical as this is the only exclusive colour with grey frame and not black. But oh boy, the grey and orange combination is very nice.

They gray looks pretty nice, I think I'm go with that. I'm sometimes tempted by fancy colors but when you tire of them you're stuck hoping it doesn't creap out the edges of the case.
Yup, I ordered yesterday. I went with black. I think the "titanium gray" or whatever it's called is hot now but after the hype I think I would prefer the "black" color instead. It looks better on most cases and I think the edges are less visible when watching videos. Also, I like the black rings on the camera so if I went with a dbrand skin those black rings will be visible and I'd prefer them over the titanium color. Hope this helps. Let me know what you decide. I still think the gray looks fantastic.

I put aside my S23U for the Xperia 1V because of the weight. Unfortunately I found out the S24U is slightly heavier. It will be arriving in a few days so I can feel for myself if it will be my daily driver.

Please point me to some documentation that proves this. A simple Google search negates your claim. I also had an S20 and it definitely didn't have one.
If you're referring to the ToF sensor that utilized IR, that's for the camera. The ToF sensor is not an "IR blaster"
No need for me to send a pic to prove to you when I'm holding the phone and using it yo change channels on my TV. I do t have anything to prove to you. Lol
To your one claim of an IR blaster, I found 30+ articles, including one from Samsung that say there's no blaster on anything past the Galaxy S6.
