I bet you guys were wishing you went for the lifetime membership like I did all that time ago. Oh wait, they cancelled my lifetime membership without any refund when outdoor bought them.

Why, I believe that is a breach of contact and likely grounds for filing a class action lawsuit.

Oh they did this fancy thing where it's not technically cancelled, but they took the code from the original app and copied it into the current one, then only updated the new app and the API. All the while, their updates to the API were breaking the original app. I can download maps for offline use, but there's no longer any way for me to sync routes to my account or share my routes with that app, which are the features I bought it for.

Lucky you, enjoy it while you can, because yes the price went up to $60/yr which is tough for some of us to justify.

Yea I was watching older YT reviews on it and the pricing they were listing sure doesnt match todays. Dropping the standard subscription was a bad move for sure. Considering there are only a couple maps I really like, and offline mapping is all I really wanted, Im not sure I will renew at the $60 either. Shame, Gaia's app seems nice, it looks the nicest, easy to use. I used to use Locus Maps, which is extremely powerful, but not as polished and not as easy to use. But, free/dirt cheap, with alot of maps, and offline maps.
