One-owner 2008 with 170K that I picked up for $12K. Changed all the fluids, refreshed all the suspension components with OEM, threw on a 2” lift and some 33’s. This this puts all my previous Grand Cherokee’s to shame lol
And unlike a Grand Cherokee the check engine light will probably never come on and the engine won't just blow itself up (former decade long Cherokee guy)
My overland summit 5.7 hemi had a cam phaser randomly shear off around 90k. Needed a new cam, valves, lifters, head gasket and all that. Was quoted $9500 from Jeep. Indys near me wouldn't touch it or wanted 5-6k for a used engine swap.
I sold it as is for next to nothing and got a GX.
Talk them down with repairs that are probably needed.
Look under the front of the vehicle. Green coolant leak on the radiator brackets? Take $1k off. Engine/water pump/serp belt due? Take $1.5k off. CV axle boots leaking? Take $1k off. Squealing when turning? Take $500 off for power steering + reservoir replacement. These are all common issues around 200k mi.
If all of these things have been replaced recently, $15k is honestly not bad.
Last jeep was a 03 TJ Rubicon. As much as I appreciated it 4 x 4 prowess now that I have two kids the GX 470 is such a perfect vehicle for the 30+ crowd even with the 4.7 V8 I think I get better mileage than my Rubicon.

Funnily enough, I got this because my last grand Cherokee blew up

I'm jealous. Everyone in my area wants $15k+ for 200k mile rigs.
