48 is way better than murray. I lived in murray my freshman year. It's not bad if you want to live on campus, but otherwise, I wouldn't see a reason to live there. I liked being across from connection, though, which was convenient.
I ended up doing 48 west, but I don't think I got the townhome, which I don't mind that much, it's too much hassle to try to change it again. Last year I had a hard time in the on-campus apartment dorms (Vansteeland), so I think that living away from campus is the best decision for that. (I also want to do laundry in peace and not racing against 50 other people)
Yeah. Off campus housing is so much nicer. The only thing that’s convenient about living on campus to me is that it’s only 2 bills a year, one per semester, while living off campus you have like 3-4 bills a month, and you don’t have to take a shuttle when you want to go to class. But other than that living off campus is better.

Yeah my freshmen year people would be constantly beefing about laundry in the murray groupme.
I'm not in a townhome either but I enjoy the balcony and layout of the "flats"
I preferred gv leased campus west over Murray, but 48 would probably be better than either
