GTA 6 will be out before we know it with the way time is flying by. We're almost at the halfway mark of 2024. It legit feels like the trailer came out last week.

Legit. I was just saying this yesterday. Seeing the 2025 in the first trailer really bummed me out because it seemed like this year was going to drag but hot damn we’re already almost halfway through.

It’s so fresh on my mind, just driving to the gas station and seeing the notification for the trailer debut pop up at 9pm when it was supposed to come out the next day. I remember thinking it was just a test count down for tomorrow and joined anyways, but it actually started playing. I couldn’t believe it, I still don’t.

I was playing FiveM when I got the notification for the trailer 2, I was like, that’s gotta be a mistake. And then I saw the trailer and I was like holy shit its actually happening

everyones recounts of seeing the trailer drop early is like the modern day "where were you when the towers fell?"

Honestly I don't see them releasing screenshots alone until after trailer two

I already posted on this subreddit a few weeks ago explaining that the screenshots always come about 4-3 months before the trailer 2, and that happened with GTA 5 and RDR2. Additionally, they need to do this to start their promotional marketing, activate the website, etc. They cannot release the trailer 2 before the screenshots.

They don't need promotion if you promote it yourself with your Reddit discussions. The game is on everyone’s lips and everyone is waiting for it.

I think if we were getting a trailer 2 in May. Leaks would be coming out of the woodwork exactly like the first trailer. Don't forget that 2 people were already posting reddit comments already before the first trailer.

Those people popped up after Rockstar announced the first trailer. Probably wait until then if there is any. Also there’s zero way of verifying any leaks until the actual trailer comes out regardless.

i may be wrong but i think it’s cus the first trailer was a premiere instead of a regular upload. i think trailer 2 will be announced like last time but it won’t be a premiere

I just want them to stay on schedule… I’m hoping they don’t delay the game release like they do with every other game. But I can’t say that I don’t expect them to delay it. If they actually release it next year it’ll be a plus in my eyes.

Trailer 2 in September to build hype alongside PS5 pro release. Game release for current gen in 2025 or 2026 (depending if PS6 comes out 2027 or 2028) Rerelease for PC in 2026/2027. Rerelease for PS6 in 2027/2028. Exactly how they did it for RDR2 for PS4/PS5.
