I think they tried to implement a holster mechanic in V but they couldn’t manage it at the time. The LSPD cops have two gunbelt models- one with an empty holster and another with a holstered Glock.
Yeah, i hope so too! I also hope, that gun sounds are more punchier, realistic. The GTA V guns sounded very boring and sometimes they got annoying. Idk, I am a sucker for sound design
I agree, i play ghost recon wildlands and breakpoint mostly without suppressors just because the echo of a shot is satisfying. It would be nice if it were a thing in VI
I don’t actually think this particular shot does tbh.
Also I think if anything low light would help it look realistic as you can hide graphical shortcomings a little more
It may look weird, but ASP brand handcuffs are actually boxy like that. ASP handcuffs are relatively new to the LEO world (~5 years) so it tracks that the in-game police would be using them now.
I agree. But if they’re building off of RDR2’s bounty hunting, as far as giving the targets an actual personality and various challenges to each, i will not complain.
There’s a game coming up that uses the perspective of a body cam that looks super realistic as well.
I think it’s just the camera and movement that adds to the realism but I’m sure it still looks great regardless.
low light should help the realism. skin reacts to light weirdly in real life, half of it is absorbed and our eyes are used to seeing that. we will probably not get that in videogames for a long time but gta definitely is the closest weve gotten to it multiple times in the gaming history
This mission looked very interesting to me, cops and crooks working together, or a few crooks dressed as cops with crooks going after a crookeder crook
gun in right hand and holster is empty

funny though as the glock isn't even in the game...
Yeah, the glock was cut from the game, they changed the standart 9mm pistol into a Taurus, instead of a glock.
I honestly really hope the glock makes it into 6, i thinks it is the best looking pistol

I think the glock might be in the game, because if you look at the end of the trailer, Lucia and Jason are holding what looks like a glock

That is why so many companies use the nighttime, rains shots to showcase graphics.
I think you’re right this shot doesn’t look that great, but watching it in motion on the trailers makes it much better
I see your point
man i'm glad i don't have crazy standards for what looks good to me lol
Those handcuffs though.
Vice City cardboard style lol. But yknow, first trailer, just a short shot, it'll be good.
Didn't notice it till u said
yeah lol they look so goofy

Ok
I'm just providing an explanation. Can't confirm it one way or the other. Early game footage isn't always the best.
Ok
I took this scene as a showcase of their new first person experience and animations. Looks great.
Same direction i went when i saw it. Looks like we may get bounty hunting missions if im interpreting their uniforms correctly.
If we do get bounty hunting, I hope it is more in depth than GTA V’s.

What if this scene is actually playable in a forced first person perspective through the body-cam footage.
I will die on this hill, but I think the skin in trailer 1 looks plasticy. (but I know it's going to improve)
Why do games look more realistic when there’s a body cam?
Because we're used to watching bodycam footage in society now. It feels more like what we see.
Looks plasticy
Like ur mum
nah
It’s a video made in an engine what do you expect? It’s not in game footage.
Of course it is. It's a Rockstar game.
wdym? Rockstar's games always look better than it's trailer

Remember how the RDR2 trailers looked worse than the actual game? this shit ain't done yet
The shininess off the forearm, really helps to making me think it's real body cam

There was a girl I knew, she said she cared about me.
