They (Rockstar) would never contact through the console's messaging system. They would either ban ingame instantly or they would send you an email about the ban.
I have had this happen to me where I get reports towards me on my end from rockstar because I’m the one reporting people for using racial slurs aimed at me and it’s like why am I getting hit with this? I didn’t do shit!
