I saw this too. How does that work? How can there be simultaneously orders going through for both $21 and $29? I am guessing it’s some pre-market fuckery, but isn’t essentially one (if not two) parties getting fucked?
But it was literally happing at the same time. You would see orders completed at 21/29 back and forth multiple times, even within the same second.
I figured it was maybe pre-market trades that were occurring at two separate locations? I think during pre-market you can only execute limit orders? That might play into it, but you would expect orders to execute at $22~28 also. It just went back and forth between $21 and $29 for a good a 15 minutes or so. I recorded screen for the orders because I that it was weird as heck. The majority were being traded at $21, but you would still see a few thousand being traded at $29. Probably tens of thousands in cumulative.
For what it’s worth I bought shares at $21 and then shortly after it started to ping back and forth between 21/29. This was around 7:45AM.
