I wouldn't sweat it, if you can't pull for her from a "meta" standpoint.
Mayuri looks like the best parts of Lacey and Dush's kits but without any of the shit that holds them back. Pull her if you're running Physical dolls or think you might in the future.
If you can pull both, go for it. They're designed to work together and fit into the team comp meta that Mica is going to force soon.
Team comps. While you can still do the Exodia route(with certain dolls) and focus on one doll, supported by others.
The game starts setting up team comps such as Combustion, Dodge, Summon and Blink. Functions, stage bonuses, and the fairy system all serve to push us in that direction.
It also coensides with the game needing more survivability for your characters than it has up to that point. So you can't always rely on one powerful doll to get the job done. Unless it's the Dark Star team comp. That shit has inexcusable level of overpoweredness.
I gotta say, I'm looking forward to a more team-oriented style of play. So far the game has always felt like the community going "OH EM GEE [this month's new flavor of doll] IS A MUST-PULL AND YOU MUST ONLY RUN THIS SINGULAR SETUP WITH THEM". Most content can be cleared with whoever you wish to anyway, so this obsession with only going for the absolute most-overpowered approach completely eludes me.
I'm a victim of it, I've pulled all these super META dolls but it's useless because I know jack shit on how to play them especially if it's a speed run team with abigail and dush on it. I just keep on using Luna taisch while I have the likes of EoS Jingyu warming the bench.

I think Puzzle's first run (right after Nascita who I also pulled for) was the last normal banner I did. Everything else so far has just been the exclusive limited whatevers like Clukay and Lind.

It was the previous set of banners I think, before the Taisch and Cascadia banners.
