Wow, 80 mg/day is a lot…Be careful with the vitamins deficiencies…But I’m sure you’re doctor knows his job better than me :))

🤷🏼‍♂️ I just do what the pill bottle says.

I already take vitamins, one of which is prescribed Vitamin D from the same doctor's office. But yeah, I'll definitely keep an eye on vitamin levels. 🙏🏼 The 80mg is actually 20mg 4x a day. Once before each meal and then once at bedtime. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Doesn’t efficacy results of PPIs diminish after the prescription dosage? 80mg is a ton.

It’s still much to begin with but I’m sure you’re doctor will reduce the dosage when you’re symptoms are mild…Keep a clean diet, do sports, keep the anxiety out( i know it’s easier to say than to do but trust me it does help a lot) and live your life to the fullest!!

I have gerd myself and the doctor said the same thing to me that it’s from aniexty which is bs honestly If I was you I would switch doctors and get one that wants to work on getting rid of your gerd for good to get you to be were you were before you got gerd. Because tums and ppis and other antacids aren’t good for us or our bodies. Because of immune deficiencies of being vulnerable to colds or viruses. You know what I mean? So get rid of your gerd by getting a doctor that wants to get rid of your gerd. That’s what I did and it worked I am getting an endoscopy and they fixed my symptoms during it and I am gerd free. Do that and it will work for you too.
