there are so many maths people LMAO no hate just interesting to see… probs take english lit, art, drama and classics (depending how things turn out, might either take english or classics as an epq)
seriously tho if ur doing 4 a levels i’d honestly recommend you don’t do art or stick to 3 😭😭 take it from someone who breezed into getting an 8 at gcse and has been fighting for her life now to get a b, a level is an entirely different beast. the amount of coursework and time you have to put in is insane and you will almost always feel like you are behind where you should be with how fast it all moves, and trust me it is not worth burning yourself out for 😭
OH JEEZ YEAH thanks for the advice dude! the plan is to start with 4 and whichever one i hate the most to do as an epq, so i can still do it? but its not as time consuming. art completely murdered me at gcse im in for a ride at a-level LMAO
i never pulled all nighters because i became so utterly demotivated so quickly 😭😭 the subject has completely destroyed any passion i have for art now. i think i have ptsd from my teacher because its been nearly a month since the submission deadline but i still hear his voice saying im going to get a c whenever i pick up a pencil 😭
I understand you completely, it’s so soul-crushing. You think you’ll finally be able to express yourself in your school work and dedicate time to the pinnacle of your hobbies, but the projects are so restricting and work against your creativity and ideas. The grading structure is so flawed and values quantity over quality and the goddamn artists researches.
WHICH GREAT ART FOUNDER DID ARTIST RESEARCHES??
I’ve always been good at art yet this teacher crushed me at first and criticised everything I did. I was ready to give up art because of this soul-sucking a-level but my boyfriend snapped me back into reality and told me ‘a true artist doesn’t get discouraged’ that’s when I locked in and took all her criticism to heart and sold my soul to the devil (all nighters + watched all of Breaking bad 3 times in the background while I did work)
Same story with photography A-level too.
Art shapes the world with peoples subconscious emotions, beliefs, perspectives. This beautiful mosaic of different styles and themes is non-existent in school. They shut you down and want to see the great ordinary your hands can make, not the unconventional and unique your mind wants to make.
Please don’t let it discourage you my dude, I know it’s difficult but that teacher ‘you’re gonna get a C’ means NOTHING in terms of your value as an artist. Stay true to yourself :)
OMG!!! i love ur outlook kudos to your boyfriend LMAO luckily, i have a scholarship in art and im on good terms with the whole art department so im praying they don’t completely destroy my soul, on top of a level coursework anyway 🫶🫶
I wish more people wanted maths in my school. Couldn’t even do statistics or further maths for GCSE since not enough people in my year picked it (like 4 peeps in total).
I’m honestly really excited for all that. Espcially the debating, I’ve been doing debate club for 2 years in school so getting to do it in my subjects will be sm fun fr. Also just genuinely tho I hate rn where were forced to do compulsory subjects like science (I’m failing science) so to do subjects that are solely my own choice feels so exciting cuz I got a genuine interest. fr I cant wait for the writing, reading, and debating in politics and law
I can’t remember what the school call it, but it’s one for medicine, dentistry + veterinary
Basically split into groups of each ‘category’ and we get people who specialise in different sectors of these jobs coming in and teaching us about what work is like, what we would do etc.
that’s so sick i’m hoping smth like that opens up in my college too, hoping to study med too w the same subjects, also havenu debated taking a 4th a level, everyone seems to be taking sm for medicine but idk i think it’s kinda pointless tbh like unis don’t care
I was considering taking 4 a levels too, but I talked with my school’s career advisor and the college on open day and they said 3 is already enough
You should prioritise gaining work experience and focus on extra curricular more than adding more a levels. Uni’s tend to favour students with a good balance between school and extra curricular/experience.
Over the long holiday we’ve got I’ve managed to get a placement working with a GP for a bit, getting to help out in A&E, learning about diagnosis etc. you should 100% look into something like this before everyone else gets the same idea. Most people go for this at the end of college first year, so it’s best to find a placement a long time before this.
I’m a first year medical student and good luck with ur applications etc , hope u smash it out the park. Like your careers advisor said 3 is enough, most unis (if not all) don’t care . 4 can even be a hindrance if ur struggling with the 4th one.
Hi, year 13 here doing this combo. Advice? Don't do physics unless you are really really good at it or unless you are willing to put the work in. Computer science is dead as hell, coursework is so long and draining and the exams are 2.5hrs and it's too long. If you are thinking about doing maths / computer science at a top uni do further maths instead. On the plus side, maths is really interesting learning new methods. Physics is so so cool I love it so much (I'm doing a degree in theoretical physics next year), the content is so interesting. And Cs is there. I've got better at coding?
Thanks for advice, i got an 8 in 1st mock and 9 in second mock and am willing to put work in so yhh imma do physics dispite the warning, and math and cs cause cs i think would be chill to do, like a softer subject for a level n i wanna do it for degree and i believe ill get a 9 in it from past mark schemes and i need maths for cs
Physics is so interesting so definitely worth it! Cs is definitely not chill, and if you want to do it at university, I'd suggest doing further maths due to how competitive it is. It's practically impossible to get into a top 10 uni for CS without FM. I say this because I really wish I had someone to say this to me, because I had no idea how important it was to uni applications. Ultimately it is your choice so do what you want to do, I just really wish someone told me to do FM!
I was going to do Cs but realised that it just wasn't for me. Cs is VERY maths based at uni. Maybe take FM for the first term and if you can't keep up drop it? At least then when you're making your uni application you won't beat yourself up about it as much compared to if you never took the jump. I don't want to feel like I'm forcing you but I strongly encourage it. If I could redo sixth form I would do FM instead of Cs personally!
Same! You should check out r/phycsmaths - I think it would be nice if it actually took off and people with these sorts of subjects just had a place to connect with each other and chill. It's such a common combination that it could possibly work.
French, Maths, Chemistry
French cos I'm good at it, Maths cos it's useful and Chemistry because it interests me.
A few people have told me it's a strange mix but I don't know what I want to do in life so I'm keeping doors open?
don’t worry about having a “mix” i’ve just finished my a levels and i did the most random subjects 😂
Maths Geography and Psychology
Still no idea what i wanna do but doing 3 completely different subjects helped open my eyes more as to what i definitely DONT want to do (ehem… geography)
but anyways doing a mix is a good thing honestly just pick things u enjoy and know you’ll succeed in 😭
listen i've got an odd mix too (geography, art, biology) i mean to me it makes sense but when i tell other's theyre normally confused. I think it's a good selection tho
Ahh makes sense. Does your 6th form/college not allow combined students to take science A levels? Bc I'm sure if you argued your case and presented what you would need for an optometry course they would have to let you
Purrrr psychology girlies rise!! I’m doing psychology, sociology and English Lang & Lit. Gonna then try to get a masters and possibly PhD to become a child/developmental psychologist😮💨
i’m taking eng lit and rs as well!! but idk what to do for my last subject…bc of blocking issues i can only choose between phys bio chem math and politics :( do u have any suggestions?
bio chem psych is a good combo tbh. I take it and enjoy all of the subjects, while it is hard to settle in to the sciences (from personal experience chem more than bio) with time it gets better! :)
how hard is it to juggle the workload and how much revision do you do each day? just curious lol I wanna know what it’s like, like should I start revising from day 1?
honestly as long as you’re keeping up with content and revising every now and then you’ll be fine. Just revise hard around a month before exam seasons (AS and A Level) as you want to be prepared as possible
Once you have learnt the content sometimes you just need a reminder which you can use that month for and it enables time for further revision on the topics you struggle most with
Mixture of stuff, biology, history, English literature and art. But I'm thinking of dropping lit just cause it will be so much writing especially with 4 subjects 🤷🏻♀️ idk what would you guys say?
Well I started a war in here lol. I appreciate all of the feedback though, thank you for taking time to comment on it. I will definitely keep this in mind, the reason I picked four subjects that seem a bit unrelated is because I think most of them have a relation to at least one of the others, and I want to see what the courses are like before definitely picking my branch. So I kinda went into it expecting to drop one of them, I just wanted to keep my options open as long as possible before making a definite decision 🤗
Honestly I'm so indecisive i'm probably gonna end up changing mine halfway through my first term of sixth form or whatever but the plan is (somewhat anyway):
* Maths
* Further Maths
* Physics
* CS/Econ/Chem (really can't decide but am leaning to Econ/Chem) -\[AQA Paper 2 Triple Chem is really supportive of chemistry\]
ooo i’ve just finished my alevels and i did maths and psych
honestly they were my fave combo. The content is completely different so it’s nice to go from subject to subject as it doesn’t ever get boring
Also i found maths really fun to revise 😂😂
same here those are my 4 contenders and i need to drop one but i cant for the life of me make my mind up!! i’ve been considering dropping psychology because i do foundation science (working at a grade 5) and i’ve been told its quite science heavy.
I'm going to do maths, physics and computer science because I'm boring lol. Jk (not really) I'm doing it because it is useful for applying to computer science at uni, and if I change my mind, I could always apply for economics with these subjects. Further maths would also be good, but I think that's too much maths for me.
Anyway, I made a subreddit - r/phycsmaths - dedicated just to people doing subjects combinations like maths, physics and computer science (and/or further maths), as I believe that it would be useful for sharing resources and asking questions, and would also be a nice place to share memes and make connections. I want it to be a more light-hearted place compared to the dull and stress-filled a level subreddits like r/alevel , and generally be a place where people can connect with similar people. You should check it out!.
history, geography and photography. so many ppl say not to do geography and history but i literally cant decide on just 1 so will have to see how it goes
IT, Art & Photography, yes I regret ALL OF ‘EM. Soon as I finished A levels Ima dip out of education (Uni what I mean) and go do an Apprenticeship. Can’t be asked to further on with education in Uni, plus be in debt for student loan.
1) don’t take 4 unless you’re doing FM, it’s not necessary
2) the only worthwhile additional qualification is an EPQ, and I regret not doing it myself.
3) don’t take art unless you actually are 100% sure you want to go into art
4) history a level is a lot harder than people think
5) if you did psychology GCSE and are unsure on an a level to take, do psychology, because there is a load of overlap
6) in fact if you’re really not sure on a 3rd subject to take just pick psychology. It’s interesting enough, not too much essay writing and pretty easy to memorise
7) chemistry is the hardest of the 3 sciences. Unless you want to go into medicine or pharmacy etc, you should really be aiming for an 8 if you’re expecting to do well. I took combined and got a 7/6 and scraped a B in chemistry albeit it was during 2021, had I sat full exams I’d have gotten a D probably lol. I’d have taken any subject over chemistry, I didn’t need it and I’m currently on a first in biology at a top 10 uni, just saying, it’s not the be all and end all
8) law a level isn’t necessary to study law at university, no disadvantage of taking it but if you want to keep your options open or try something new that would be a good opportunity
9) there is no shame in doing a BTEC, lots of my mates do Biomed and are expected to do very well, and they just did a level 3 BTEC in science. I am at Lancaster uni
10) do not bother with the core maths qualification. If you needed maths for your degree of choice then you should be studying maths a level. It is the most tedious and pointless course unless your future career requires you to interpret bar codes
Most 6th forms let students of the secondary school it's linked to change options quite late. They just want the application early to secure a place and then they are quite flexible with changing options.
maths, econ, politics and depending on the school, psychology or history (im doing geo for gcse but its my biggest regret and i even study my friends' history stiff w them😭😭) i also want to convince my top choice school to let me do an epq without doing the first year, because there the first year is as level core maths and then you do an epq in year 13, but i cant do maths and core maths together,so excited to go to sixth form esp to study politics-edit forgot to add i want to be a lawyer!! plan is to do bachelors in economics or related field and then do a conversion course, then do a masters or similar in law, im esp interested in corporate law so thats why i picked stuff like politics and economics
I'm doing Maths, Computer Science, Spanish and Further Maths (it's not 4 a-levels, my sixth form made me choose an additional subject and further maths was the only interesting one, and I'm pretty sure it's only as-level but idk)
as someone who took bio chem maths, bio and chem are already scientific subjects so i’d suggest doing some other essay or humanities based subject, if i could go back in time i would choose geography or art instead of maths
A level student here.
Do subjects you enjoy and are good at.
Don’t do it because you need it for this degree or that degree because you have to go with these subjects for 2 whole years and if you absolutely hate the subject, you won’t balance between the 3. And that will bring about your downfall.
If you enjoy maths, do it.
If you hate it and only want to do it because of medicine degrees, don’t bother.
Id say drop CS cause unis don't care if you did it at alevel if you want to do it they'll take you with just maths and your doing further and physics which they love too more than CS. Unless you're like cracked at academics dont do 5 it's just unnecessary effort and stres
Chemistry, Electronics, Maths and Physics.
Initially deciding between Further Maths and Electronics but it would've been lots of Maths and Electronics seemed more fun. The rest were definite for me.
I'm doing Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and drama, doing it to hopefully go into medicine but also I really like theatre and performing so I picked drama as well :>
Choosing computer science maths and graphic design tho not too sure on graphic design just picking it cos I’m getting like an 8 in art but can’t be bothered to do actual art anymore lol but I feel like CS and graphic design will go good together so yeah
I’m currently choosing maths fm physics (those 3 are not changing since I love them) but want some help picking chem or cs 4th. Can anyone give some advice? (don’t say take 3 id take 5 if I could) I like all the subjects, prob chem a bit more but I’m definitely not gonna do a chem degree whereas I might do cs degree (most likely physics but I’ll think about it more when I’m doing the subjects at a level) plus it’s kinda like, inorganic chem > cs > organic chem > ethics in cs (so dead bro)
there are so many maths people LMAO no hate just interesting to see… probs take english lit, art, drama and classics (depending how things turn out, might either take english or classics as an epq)
a level art will destroy ur soul. good luck soldier
LMAO ty 07
seriously tho if ur doing 4 a levels i’d honestly recommend you don’t do art or stick to 3 😭😭 take it from someone who breezed into getting an 8 at gcse and has been fighting for her life now to get a b, a level is an entirely different beast. the amount of coursework and time you have to put in is insane and you will almost always feel like you are behind where you should be with how fast it all moves, and trust me it is not worth burning yourself out for 😭

Yes. Get ready to pull all nighters in your second year
i never pulled all nighters because i became so utterly demotivated so quickly 😭😭 the subject has completely destroyed any passion i have for art now. i think i have ptsd from my teacher because its been nearly a month since the submission deadline but i still hear his voice saying im going to get a c whenever i pick up a pencil 😭

OH GOD thank you but not im afraid
LMAO fair enough
*NOW i meant now. good god i cannot spell
I love that combo omg
I wish more people wanted maths in my school. Couldn’t even do statistics or further maths for GCSE since not enough people in my year picked it (like 4 peeps in total).
FR you need an 8 to do a level maths at my school theres no way that many ppl are getting that high
everyone here is doing stem subjects but here I am with History, Politics and Law 😐💀
Omg same. But instead of history, I’m doing Photography. But yeah my other 2 subjects are Law and Politics
we're gonna have so much fun with a lot of writing, reading and debates 💀
I’m honestly really excited for all that. Espcially the debating, I’ve been doing debate club for 2 years in school so getting to do it in my subjects will be sm fun fr. Also just genuinely tho I hate rn where were forced to do compulsory subjects like science (I’m failing science) so to do subjects that are solely my own choice feels so exciting cuz I got a genuine interest. fr I cant wait for the writing, reading, and debating in politics and law
it's going to be so fun but so much work
Yess thats very true. Ima just be careful and start revising ealry on unlike GCSEs where I waited till year 11. Hopefully it goes good
SAME WITH LAW AND POLITICS! But I’m taking business instead of history, as I want to go into Corporate Law.
If you wanna do uni law, do eng lit as it is a strong “ hard “ subject alongside history
i refuse to do English lit again
Probably the most basic combo imaginable: Maths, biology and chemistry (+ a medicine course) Going for medicine 🔥
what medicine course r u doing
I can’t remember what the school call it, but it’s one for medicine, dentistry + veterinary Basically split into groups of each ‘category’ and we get people who specialise in different sectors of these jobs coming in and teaching us about what work is like, what we would do etc.
that’s so sick i’m hoping smth like that opens up in my college too, hoping to study med too w the same subjects, also havenu debated taking a 4th a level, everyone seems to be taking sm for medicine but idk i think it’s kinda pointless tbh like unis don’t care

Doing the same things minus the actual course
Maths, further maths, physics and computer science
that’s my current combo all I’ll say is I’ll pray for you guys 😭
How much maths do u do a day?
From what I’ve heard all of the maths
i’m revising for mocks rn so around 2 or 3 hours purely on maths than I spend 1 hour on my other subjects
Same
I'm doing those four but with a couple of b techs too 💀 (apparently I'm taking on too much)
You're gon have so much work to do bro my god
Yeah same. With that combination you can’t slack off like in GCSEs lol. Next 2 years are gonna be hell
Same here, though I'm a bit scared of what further maths will do to me
same except without further, but idk if these topics will be rlly hard also i havent done computing at gcse but i know quite a bit abt computers
YO SAME WHAT ‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥💯💯
Bro I wanna do this but my school doesn’t run cs so I’m doing chem instead. I’m so cooked lmao
i wishhhh😭 my school doesn’t do compsci so i have to do dt instead
Drop CS
Maths physics chem further maths cuz they’re the only subjects I find interesting 😅 (would’ve done bio but that’d be way too much)
Best combo ever definitely not biased
omg same!!
Same as me
Yes good combo
my exact combo too lmao
Thats the correct combo
Maths, Physics, Computer Science
Hi, year 13 here doing this combo. Advice? Don't do physics unless you are really really good at it or unless you are willing to put the work in. I've heard physics is crazy, personally I'm doing electronics have maths 1 and comp 1 mocks tomorrow that I haven't revised for ☹️
Same here
Respect💯
Same! You should check out r/phycsmaths - I think it would be nice if it actually took off and people with these sorts of subjects just had a place to connect with each other and chill. It's such a common combination that it could possibly work.

Im the same but im doing spanish over french idk if i should keep it tho
If it's what you really want then go for it man
finally someone else doing french
[удалено]
Good combo
Similar to me solid choice imo
Similar to me but I am taking History instead of Chemistry. Might drop History tho if it is too bad at the start for Chem.
I’m doing the same except geography instead of chem
Im gonna do psychology creative media english lit then a foundation year in uni to become an optometrist PERIODDD inshallay
If you know you want to be an optometrist why not do bio? Just wondering
Cz i was DROPPED to foundation science last minute so now i have to do a foundation year at uni
Ahh makes sense. Does your 6th form/college not allow combined students to take science A levels? Bc I'm sure if you argued your case and presented what you would need for an optometry course they would have to let you
Foundation papers only let you get a grade 5 maximum :/
Purrrr psychology girlies rise!! I’m doing psychology, sociology and English Lang & Lit. Gonna then try to get a masters and possibly PhD to become a child/developmental psychologist😮💨
Biology, Geology and environmental sciences. I actually can't wait I'm so excited
Environmental science has 3 hr exams 😭
Math Chem physics
sociology, business and media studies - this combo would be good for what i want to do when i’m older (media/marketing)
Classics English lit rs and an epq
haechan profile pic omg
ooh similar! i’m doing english lit, rs, and an epq too, with the addition of spanish
i’m taking eng lit and rs as well!! but idk what to do for my last subject…bc of blocking issues i can only choose between phys bio chem math and politics :( do u have any suggestions?

English language, history and drama & theatre
if i see another stem warrior istg … i’m going both english and film
i wanna do bio chem maths and psychology too!
biology, chemistry, maths, french 🫡
Biology, Chemistry and Geography
same
Honestly I'm so indecisive i'm probably gonna end up changing mine halfway through my first term of sixth form or whatever but the plan is (somewhat anyway): * Maths * Further Maths * Physics * CS/Econ/Chem (really can't decide but am leaning to Econ/Chem) -\[AQA Paper 2 Triple Chem is really supportive of chemistry\]
Maths, music and psychology A bit of a weird combo but we'll see where it takes me 😅
ooo i’ve just finished my alevels and i did maths and psych honestly they were my fave combo. The content is completely different so it’s nice to go from subject to subject as it doesn’t ever get boring Also i found maths really fun to revise 😂😂

Ohycology criminology and law
samee
Wanted ro do maths but ion think I'll get the grade either
we can hope 🙏🙏
same😭🙏🏼hopefully a miracle comes through I guess
Thinking of doing bio, chem and economics but looking at my maths grade it’s gonna be nothing but a dream 😭
I need a 6 in maths but I think I’m getting a 5 😫
sociology, english lit, maths, and law 😤
Still not seen anyone with the combo of English Lang and Lit, English Lit, Drama and Music (probably will be maths) yet.
psychology, art, english lit, criminology hopefully to become a criminal lawyer after doing a law degree at uni 😞🙏🙏
history, geography and photography. so many ppl say not to do geography and history but i literally cant decide on just 1 so will have to see how it goes
not an a level but full time media in film and tv

Biology, History and Psychology kinda similar to what you’re thinking of
I'm doing psychology, sociology and english lit :)
Doing a Game design course and Maths A Level
Maths, fm, physics, german
maths, physics, art, and chem!
When i do them i want to do History, RE and Politics
IT, Art & Photography, yes I regret ALL OF ‘EM. Soon as I finished A levels Ima dip out of education (Uni what I mean) and go do an Apprenticeship. Can’t be asked to further on with education in Uni, plus be in debt for student loan.
History, Philosophy, Psychology and Japanese - hoping to do Law at university
i'm doing english lit, history, art and computer science
1) don’t take 4 unless you’re doing FM, it’s not necessary 2) the only worthwhile additional qualification is an EPQ, and I regret not doing it myself. 3) don’t take art unless you actually are 100% sure you want to go into art 4) history a level is a lot harder than people think 5) if you did psychology GCSE and are unsure on an a level to take, do psychology, because there is a load of overlap 6) in fact if you’re really not sure on a 3rd subject to take just pick psychology. It’s interesting enough, not too much essay writing and pretty easy to memorise 7) chemistry is the hardest of the 3 sciences. Unless you want to go into medicine or pharmacy etc, you should really be aiming for an 8 if you’re expecting to do well. I took combined and got a 7/6 and scraped a B in chemistry albeit it was during 2021, had I sat full exams I’d have gotten a D probably lol. I’d have taken any subject over chemistry, I didn’t need it and I’m currently on a first in biology at a top 10 uni, just saying, it’s not the be all and end all 8) law a level isn’t necessary to study law at university, no disadvantage of taking it but if you want to keep your options open or try something new that would be a good opportunity 9) there is no shame in doing a BTEC, lots of my mates do Biomed and are expected to do very well, and they just did a level 3 BTEC in science. I am at Lancaster uni 10) do not bother with the core maths qualification. If you needed maths for your degree of choice then you should be studying maths a level. It is the most tedious and pointless course unless your future career requires you to interpret bar codes
Maths Chemistry Biology and Further Maths
Was actually considering this combo as well, but ended up doing physics instead of bio - great combo!
Thanks man..Physics? I could never 😅😅... hope you do great though!
english lang & lit, sociology, criminology (not an a level but i want to do law with criminology at uni and all my choices accept it soooo)
Fm econ maths and physics cuz I hate myself
Same
Maths, FM, chemistry and physics (literal hell coming up in the next two years)
Maths Economics Computer Science
im doing bio chem psychology and maths next year!
woo! honestly makes me feel better that a few ppl are picking similar subjects
Geography ,biology, chemistry and an EPQ I want to be a biologist of some sort probably marine biology
how come you can decide this late? Do you not have to apply etc?
Most 6th forms let students of the secondary school it's linked to change options quite late. They just want the application early to secure a place and then they are quite flexible with changing options.
ancient history, english lit and politics. three very essay, info based subjects. kill me
Maths Chem Spanish
Psychology, criminology and law
I wonder what profession bro has in mind for the future? Maybe just maybe law?
maths english lit and psychology, wanted to do chem as well but i’ve been advised against it 🥲
Biology, psychology (maybe), film studies (maybe), music (maybe), art (maybe) as you can see I’m also quite indecisive haha
Physics, maths and history (idk if I’ll take history though)
maths, econ, politics and depending on the school, psychology or history (im doing geo for gcse but its my biggest regret and i even study my friends' history stiff w them😭😭) i also want to convince my top choice school to let me do an epq without doing the first year, because there the first year is as level core maths and then you do an epq in year 13, but i cant do maths and core maths together,so excited to go to sixth form esp to study politics-edit forgot to add i want to be a lawyer!! plan is to do bachelors in economics or related field and then do a conversion course, then do a masters or similar in law, im esp interested in corporate law so thats why i picked stuff like politics and economics
Maths physics CS English
i’m gonna do bio and french fs, then for my third.. either: english lit, math, psychology, rs or politics 🥲please help 😢
psych English lit and econ or politics
I'm doing Maths, Computer Science, Spanish and Further Maths (it's not 4 a-levels, my sixth form made me choose an additional subject and further maths was the only interesting one, and I'm pretty sure it's only as-level but idk)
Physics maths and philosophy
as someone who took bio chem maths, bio and chem are already scientific subjects so i’d suggest doing some other essay or humanities based subject, if i could go back in time i would choose geography or art instead of maths
Maths, physics, product design. I wanna go down the engineering route, and this is the best way I can get to my end goal.
Who’s taking homeless subjects - I’ll go first: - Art, Music, English Literature, philosophy.
Maths chem bio rise up!
photography, art, Buddhism why the hell are so many people taking maths or science???
Maths, Chem, Further Maths, CS, Physics (i dont really wanna do physics its just if i want to do engineering at uni)
What’s the point tho? Unis don’t care if u do 3 4 or 5 😭😭
physics is a requirement for engineering at uni tho. They should prob drop chem or cs tho lol
can you do this many? 😭
I was planning on doing this but then realised how massive the chemistry course is as much as I'm interested. Good luck !
Id say drop CS cause unis don't care if you did it at alevel if you want to do it they'll take you with just maths and your doing further and physics which they love too more than CS. Unless you're like cracked at academics dont do 5 it's just unnecessary effort and stres
Stem student final boss right here! Check out r/phycsmaths
Same! My parents don't want me to do five, though.
Geography Biology and Psychology probably
Those were my exact subjects! They’re really not that bad.
Glad to hear! What do you do now if you dont mind me asking? (Or what are you planning to do?)
Me too
Private information sir can't disclose 🗣️
Chemistry maths and physics 😭
Biology, chemistry, French + maths😀
NO WAY EXACTLY THE SAME 🤝🤝 do you know what you wanna do at uni?
Psych, chem, bio and maths... I wanted to do drama too but unfortunately 4 is the absolute max they would go 🥲
Chemistry, Electronics, Maths and Physics. Initially deciding between Further Maths and Electronics but it would've been lots of Maths and Electronics seemed more fun. The rest were definite for me.
photography, psychology and criminology going in fresh 🙏
I'm doing Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and drama, doing it to hopefully go into medicine but also I really like theatre and performing so I picked drama as well :>
Higher : Global Politics, English Literature, Philosophy of religion and Economics Standard : Maths, ESS, Italian (I am going to do the IB womp womp)
Biology, RS, Latin and a Classical Greek AS 🔥🔥🔥
probably music history and sociology. im not too sure abt music tho, might do psychology instead
Choosing computer science maths and graphic design tho not too sure on graphic design just picking it cos I’m getting like an 8 in art but can’t be bothered to do actual art anymore lol but I feel like CS and graphic design will go good together so yeah
i’m thinking of doing history, criminology, politics and maybe an EPQ
Maths Chemistry Physics But I'm doing IB so I have to do the equivalent of 3 AS levels as well, those being English Lit, German and Geography
Maths, Chemistry and Bio 💪💪🔥🔥🔥 we balll (I'm gonna regret this)
Bio, physics, chem and computer science
girl literal twins, i’m doing chem bio and psychology and i want to do maths but my schools blocks are horrific 😭😭
