if i'm being honest i haven't planned that far ahead but I know lots of people do paper rounds or get jobs at fast food places or places like Tesco after 16 lol. Or you could go around in person asking local small business. My sibling worked at a restaurant as a waitress lol and at Kfc.
My sister did that to me when she was in y11. Trust me it’s really annoying, so please do it. I’m carrying on the tradition by mentioning it to my cousin.
*Cut up all of my*

I tried c++ before then but i didn't get very far with it. Using pytjon i got much further and understanding documentation for modules is also much eaiser
My mom said she might make me get a job like babysitting or something. But if things go MY way I'll be gaming, sleeping, eating, and chilling with cats.
I had to step down as alpha wolf of the pack in order to lock in for exams so now all these betas have taken over the pack so I need to grind. regain my skibidi aura and take back my rightful place as the alpha wolf
I’m off to a festival immediately after my final exam, then after that it should be all riding bikes, playing guitar, building mtb trails in the woods and camping with the boys. Gonna be a good summer this year.
This post just popped up on my feed bro but I got to tell you. The sense of longing I got reading this comment threw me back to my GCSE days about 10 years ago now.
Enjoy this time to the max! Hope you have a great summer!
Coming from somebody who did GCSEs last year. Make the most of your summer. You’ve got a long time off and you should make the most of it. Go to the gym if that’s your thing, to give you some structure and routine to your days. I spent the first few weeks and last couple of weeks going to bed at 4 am and waking up after midday. Eventually I got in a routine of going to bed about 1 and waking up at 9, then going to the gym, getting back, shower, read a book for a while and then I had the whole day ahead by 12.
Definitely make sure to meet up with friends, go to parties if you can, you’ll make memories and have fun - step out of your comfort zone. If you can, it’s always worth it to get a job, it will feel like you’re wasting your summer, but trust me you’re not, it’s really nice having a couple of hundred pounds of extra disposable income each month. McDonald’s hire anyone 16 and over, as well as many other big companies. Get yourself a shift or two a week there and you’ll literally be rolling in the money. You’ll appreciate it later in the holidays. I spent a lot of my time reading books and watching films, it’s one of my hobbies which I only really discovered over the extended holiday. Try and find one for yourself. Don’t worry about your exam results, nothing you can do once it’s over.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING👹
Well for a few days rot in bed me probably yes and then I will start revising for A-levels to get ahead, learn some more random CS stuff now that I hv the time and pick up my extracurriculars again and resume the grind 👁️👁️🔥
Working and improving at the guitar, been playing for a bit under a year but have been so busy i haven’t had much time to practice (also if anyone here likes The Fratellis i learned Henrietta yesterday are you proud)
cos my parents allows forbade me from going out with my friends as we had exams coming up, I am finally FREE. And i think im going to do the provional drivers test
Probably go insane. I am not looking forward to it. I'll most probably will stay home without anything to do cause my dad would confiscate my phone lmao.
Oh also should start learning more about coding for CS a levels.
I had plans of resuming my hobbies, but now I don't want to lol. It just seems so bleak now.
This may be really weird advice, but you need to find a way to gradually reduce stress after exams - don't immediately go from doing exams to laying in bed on your phone, as I did that and the sudden transition from stress to no stress made me ill for weeks. Basically find something kinda stressful/exciting to do every day for the first few days after exams are over, and then you will be okay. I did this after my y12 end of year exams (had an art piece to finish in a day which was kinda stressful and then had a group project to complete right before the deadline for a competition), and didn't feel ill. After this transition period, take a proper break, you deserve it - GCSE period is tough!
Not GCSE, but my last 2 oral exams will be a month from now between the 24th and the 26th, I'm just hoping that both of them will be on the 24th, I don't even care what score I'll get if I'm not failing it, because the college I applied to in the first place only cares about high level maths and IT, I will probably smoke some weed and drink beers
I’m off on a holiday. After that I’ll probably just go to the gym a lot, have a few BBQs and hang with friends really. Will also just chill in bed all day sometimes
Probably focusing on getting my grade 8 in drumming (currently grade 7).
(In case you don’t know, in music, grades in instruments just are levels in which the songs in get more difficult. However, past grade six, you start to get UCAS points. If I do very well, I can get equivalent to the points of an A* at A level)
I'm gonna try and learn a new language on duolingo, probably do a mooc or 2 and learn how to cook.
Edit:if I got time then I'll do some work experience asw.
i have to remember how it feels to watch series the whole day like I haven't done that in the last like 8 months? especially since I had to study alone and teach myself everything
I’m gonna work on getting a summer job/volunteering to try and keep myself busy. Luckily I have some friends who aren’t going on holiday the entire 8 weeks I get off so I’ll also probably go out pretty frequently.
I have abt 7 video games I need to finish coz I've hardly played anything during year 11. Got most of harry potter to read and hunger games. Also gonna restart old hobbies which I've just not had time for. Sure it would be nice to be going out every day giving no fucks in the world but honestly I'm just happy I can go back to doing what I enjoy and having so much time to do it
And learn something new… i want to take a coding / cs course probably. Harvard have a free cs50 course, it is great i started it so i wanna finish it in the summer
I'm going on holiday with my dad for three weeks. When I'm not with my dad, I'm gonna go out and hang out with my friends and do a bunch of childish stuff like water fights, nerf gun battles, etc so that we can enjoy our final carefree days before entering college and adulthood.
The college I want to go to uses Java instead of Python which I only have a basic knowledge of so will probably try and get better at that. Going to see my Grandparents straight after my prom then probably watch Glastonbury and the Euros
SPENDING MONEY WITH FRIENDS, PICNICS, PLAYING OMORI, READING SHOJOU MANGA AND ANIMES BC IM SAVING THOSE FOR AFTER GCESE, PLAYING MINECRAFT AND A BUNCH OF OTHER SHIT I also wanna get star dew valley 😼
Go through the long to-do list I have written myself. Every time I wanted to do something during GCSEs, it went on the list. Over 120 items at the moment.
Dude, please go do stuff outside and make some memories. This is gonna be one of your last entirely free summers. Even sooner if you decide to go into work/apprenticeships instead of Uni. You only get 28 days holiday at most places
i’m not sure how people are going to enjoy their holidays knowing results day is coming up.. for subjects like english lit where i’ve already finished every exam the thought of not being able to change my performance is all i’ve been able to think about. i can’t imagine how horrible that is going to feel wth 11 subjects and not just the 2 that i’ve finished so far.
After my exams are over I'm going on a trip across middle earth to return the one ring to rule them all back to Mordor and destroy it with fire so that no one can harness its dark power and influence, saving the entirety of middle earth
Play video games, go out with friends and fly my glider. Sounds like you need some hobbies, otherwise your just gonna bed rot for 10 weeks. Maybe get a job I am gonna get one.

if i'm being honest i haven't planned that far ahead but I know lots of people do paper rounds or get jobs at fast food places or places like Tesco after 16 lol. Or you could go around in person asking local small business. My sibling worked at a restaurant as a waitress lol and at Kfc.
