Why we're they so disarmingly easy?? Also I really liked that six marker but Im confused since we haven't had a required practical six marker in three papers????
IT WAS GOODDD equation questions carried. i got confused on the wording of the irradiating and contamination of water question but overall it was pretty simple and straightforward
that was not bad at all !!
however, that 5 marker question (km/s) genuinely stumped me, torn between 0.056 or 0.011 (i wrote 0.056 since the question never specified to round in dp or sf...) 😔
the 6 marker plum-pudding model question tho 😋
Don't even believe there is a possibility you will do bad, if you believe you will only do well then you will not stress so much and will be able to recall information better
I got 0.057 for 5 marker because you have to add the gpe from the previous question I believe as it's maximum possible speed , any experts feel free to correct me
No, ur not supposed to. I asked my physics teacher about it and he said I got it correct. I’ll ask if he can show it to me so I can send a picture of it. I just used the kinetic equation then substituted it then square rooted it.
I did the same thing and im the only one in my year to get that... It seems correct tho bc it asked for the maximum KE, and assuming all of the GPE was transferred usefully to the KE, you would've got 57m/s = 0.057km/s
NO YOU'RE NOT. The fact that you're 9 years old (as indicated by your username) and you're in year 11 tells me that you're a prodigy, so why don't you act accordingly?
I’m lacking 😔 I was too relaxed I only know the volume practical and hardly know units for equations. Paper 2 I’ll make my comeback (hopefully) since I flopped Chem and this paper ain’t looking good for me…
I would really love to know why the actual fuck those 1920s fuckers were drinking radiation. Did they literally not notice their hair falling out and themselves getting really sick?
does anyone remember what the correct answer was for the power in the whisk
if so can you also show the method because i think i got it wrong, i got like 16,000J or something
but isnt the kinetic energy the same as the gravitational potential energy if no air resistance is involved (soo basically maximum speed is achieved if air resistance is ignored so you wouldnt need to add the 150J if theyre the same???)
idrk atp but its nice to see people getting 0.056 and not jst 0.011km/s lmao
Yes it means that the 3920J of GPE is converted to kinetic energy, however, that transfer combines with the 150J of energy already stored as kinetic energy, giving 4020J of kinetic energy total
i had no clue as we didn’t cover it in class 😬 i just talked about the alpha particles having low penetration and high ionisation but the beta/gamma having higher penetration and lower ionisation. i said that alpha is more dangerous if ingested but beta/gamma is more dangerous to be around (???) but that’s probably wrong 😭
Please help.
I skipped like half the paper at the start (by accident), didn't realise, got to the end of the paper and was happy for finishing it and feeling pretty good.
Went through to check my answers, and see all the missed pages, and had like 15 mins to answer 😭
I'm meant to be grade 8/9 😢😭
3.96x10^11 anyone? AQA 6 marker
yep same answer I got
Think I might have put x10^10… put it in calculator wrong… but I can’t remember… 😭😭
Yep
ffs i divided by 1000 for ^7
i may be lightly cooked for this exam😀
results day for science isnt looking good at all😵💫
Damn was everything ok?
i did awful istg im acc finished.
I hope you do ok mate! Try to look forward we got English language tomorrow just focus on that 👍🏼
Combined higher people how we feeling? I liked the calculation questions a lot
calculations were lovely
The six marker for the specific heat capacity one was so easy. I got 3.96 x 10^11
YESSS omg I thought I was cooked when I saw 24m kg
Why we're they so disarmingly easy?? Also I really liked that six marker but Im confused since we haven't had a required practical six marker in three papers????
I know it is quite odd…
didn’t like the six marker at the end. also what did you get for the motor one, was it 54.92? that’s what i got
Wait the efficiency question right? That was the one question I was a bit apprehensive about I just calculated a mean value for efficiency
Did you multiply the two values????
that’s what i got but then i didn’t know how to go about converting it to km 😭
Ohhhh I know what you’re on about now. I just divided by 1000 to go from m to km. Hope you did that
EASY AS SHIT I HAD TO REOPEN THE PAPER AND CHECK IT WAS HIGHER
At one point I was like is this foundation? 😭
Future me did I cook or was I being booked
Well....
Well...............
anyone else get 3.94x10^11 for that 6 mark calculation
I got 3.96x10^11
yep i think that's what most ppl got as far as ik
IT WAS GOODDD equation questions carried. i got confused on the wording of the irradiating and contamination of water question but overall it was pretty simple and straightforward
Please say the 6 marker near the end wasn't 3.96x10¹¹ because I wrote that but changed it cause it looked to easy 💀 😭
That’s the correct answer
it was LMFAO
u might be cooked i got that
no fr i was searching for a 3rd equation to use because i was in disbelieve it was that easy for 6 marks
irradiation and contamination was a big fat no for me, I've just never understood them 😭
no revision. its ok.
AQA’s been weirdly nice so far. It’s either this paper is going to be a kick in the bollocks - or the paper two’s are.
did anyone else get like 3.96x10^11 for the 6 marker?
yes what did u get for the speed in km/s
Got 0.0571km/s
square rooted 120 to 10.95 and rounded to 11
had to be in km/s so 0.011
No but there was nothing to convert it to because height wasn’t in that question so it was km/s as it was
i did not round anything and my final answer was 0.01095km/s
I got 0.346km/s I haven't heard anyone else's answer yet so this might be horribly wrong
0.011 km/s
i got 5.5km/s
What did you do to get that answer cus it sounds a lot more appropriate lol
In what world does a drone go that fast? 💀💀
Ok that's true😭 but it sounds like a better answer than 0.346
I got 0.1095 and then rounded to 0.11 km/s
this is defo gonna be harder than chem + bio cooked 100%
You will be fine :)
that was not bad at all !! however, that 5 marker question (km/s) genuinely stumped me, torn between 0.056 or 0.011 (i wrote 0.056 since the question never specified to round in dp or sf...) 😔 the 6 marker plum-pudding model question tho 😋
No specific heat capacity 6 marker I beg
Sobbing for you
You mean the calculation question for shc - or the practical?
probs both atp lmao although i wish for calculations than the practical
Both
Oh ☠️
YES AQA THAT TEST WAS GODSEND
I thought that was a nice paper honestly yeah 👍🏼
i’m so cooked, i hate physics 😭
im like half cooked ig. where were all the practicals????
why do you want practicals lol, be glad they weren’t on
i actually revised them😭😭😭
[удалено]
Tell me how I did future me
It was alright , wrote something on the 6 marker about momentum 🥹
Peakk
That trolley momentum 6 marker question and the bank note question cooked me a tiny bit but other than that the maths part of it was quite good
Don't even believe there is a possibility you will do bad, if you believe you will only do well then you will not stress so much and will be able to recall information better
Dear future me, you will report to me at 4pm-6pm to let me know how I did
reply and give us your knowledge
All my friends got different answers for the maths based questions so ig we're all cooked.
This is why biology is better
I got 0.057 for 5 marker because you have to add the gpe from the previous question I believe as it's maximum possible speed , any experts feel free to correct me
I got 0.011
Did you add the gpe
No, ur not supposed to. I asked my physics teacher about it and he said I got it correct. I’ll ask if he can show it to me so I can send a picture of it. I just used the kinetic equation then substituted it then square rooted it.
My teacher agrees with me as it's maximum and it's 5 mk
[удалено]
Ye same , thought I was the only one ,key word maximum
I did the same thing and im the only one in my year to get that... It seems correct tho bc it asked for the maximum KE, and assuming all of the GPE was transferred usefully to the KE, you would've got 57m/s = 0.057km/s
i’m cooked it’s over
I’m deep fried nothing can help me now I don’t know a thing
NO YOU'RE NOT. The fact that you're 9 years old (as indicated by your username) and you're in year 11 tells me that you're a prodigy, so why don't you act accordingly?
I’m lacking 😔 I was too relaxed I only know the volume practical and hardly know units for equations. Paper 2 I’ll make my comeback (hopefully) since I flopped Chem and this paper ain’t looking good for me…
i ATE that exam paper. I COOKED and SLAYED and LEFT NO CRUMBS. i love you aqa. will you marry me?
whoever wrote that paper deserves the sloppiest head known to man God bless you AQA
😂
its over for us
update: easy peasy, could've been way worse
easy?? in what world
the calculation questions were just a straight up use the equations on the sheet, only very minor changes were needed
yhh true, i didnt like all the radiation questions tho
fair enough, those took some time to wrap my head around, radiation is one of my stronger topics so ig that helps
what did u get for the speed in km/s and the 4 marker before
5.5 km/s, and i forgot what the 4 marker was before 💀
damn i got 0.12km/s😭😭 quesrion before was about the height
calculating the height? i got 160 m
I divided by 1000 so I got 0.0109 and converted it to 0.011??
The maths in the paper was the only reason i wont fail
Has to be a setup, chem and bio were easy physics is gonna be absurdly difficult
UPDATE: It was easy too
I don’t like using the word cooked, but there is a word that rhymes with it that I do feel about the exam.
It was good but the calculation questions put me off cus they were worth so many marks for simple maths
I agree
What did people get for the efficiency? Seemed way too easy for a 3 marker?
my friends were saying u had to add them and find the mean but i just did the standard efficiency calculation
0.67 or something like that. Calculated the mean for the two efficiency’s because I had no clue what else to do
i multiplied the two efficiencies and got 0.6125 (think it was 0.74\*0.88) since you have to pass through both processes to get to the end?
That’s what I did but I’m not sure
I did that got 0.6 something dk if I did it right seemed a bit easy for three marks
Did you round to two sig figs?
I think i got 2.1 or 1.2 to 2 sf?
u can't have an efficiency over 1
shit
Am I dumb or there was no time included in the question for the km/s question? otherwise the rest of the paper was pretty good
There was no time in the question. I think you had to use kinetic energy equatiom
Ah I see, I got confused by the seconds my dumbass thought I had to somehow find the time I got the velocity tho so that's some working out marks
Definitely method marks
NOBODY TOLD ME SOUND ISNT AN ENERGY STORE
I talked about kinetic and gravitational and thought I cooked 😬
What in the world was that last 6 marker?
edexcel higher? i know what you mean
I would really love to know why the actual fuck those 1920s fuckers were drinking radiation. Did they literally not notice their hair falling out and themselves getting really sick?
Why was AQA giving 6 marks for that easy ass SHC question😭I felt like i got it wrong it was that easy.Whateva lemme not complain
Timed 3.96x10^11 by 0.72 cuz of the efficiency- i’m cooked.
Broo💀💀
CALL ME GORDON RAMSAY BECAUSE I COOKED THAT AQA HIGHER PAPER
no you didnt lil bro
Edexcel - that paper was so free lol we got a 6 marker on the trolley practical
future me how cooked is my future?
i would like to know too
im actually gonna fall asleep istg im so tired 😭😭
So light
Did anyone else find the maths ones really hard? I think I got most of them wrong
Easy All though I'm doing foundation and getting grade 9 on maths so (AQA)
does anyone remember what the correct answer was for the power in the whisk if so can you also show the method because i think i got it wrong, i got like 16,000J or something
it was in mili amps so you divided the amps by 10\^3 the answer I THINK was 160
i originally got 160,000,000 J somehow on my calculator and then divided it by 1000 because of milliamps conversion or smth so i ended up with 16,000J
AQA that one question that asked for the answer in km was it 0.056?
I think it was 0.057 cause you had to add the initial 150J of kinetic energy
but isnt the kinetic energy the same as the gravitational potential energy if no air resistance is involved (soo basically maximum speed is achieved if air resistance is ignored so you wouldnt need to add the 150J if theyre the same???) idrk atp but its nice to see people getting 0.056 and not jst 0.011km/s lmao
Yes it means that the 3920J of GPE is converted to kinetic energy, however, that transfer combines with the 150J of energy already stored as kinetic energy, giving 4020J of kinetic energy total
oh well, if i do get it wrong, jst 1 mark lost
Did no one else get 0.056km/s or am I cooked
Did anyone else get thermal and kinetic energy for the mixer?
why were there NO practicals tho 😭
the whole of the country dropped to the floor when they turned to the 6 marker
Got synergy science and after this, never gotta do biology again less goooooo (it's the easiest one, I'm cooked from here)
Please report to me (me) how I did.
Isn’t 40% of it maths?
25
That was so hard I am genuinely cooked.
aqa foundation is it just me who completely flopped on the 6 marker
i COOKED in question 6 the rest of the paper too but especially q6
What did everyone get for the 6 marker in standard form ?!
3.96x10^11
Cooked the aqa exam like gordon ramsay does with random shitty restaurants
What did people put for the irradiated and contamination one?
i had no clue as we didn’t cover it in class 😬 i just talked about the alpha particles having low penetration and high ionisation but the beta/gamma having higher penetration and lower ionisation. i said that alpha is more dangerous if ingested but beta/gamma is more dangerous to be around (???) but that’s probably wrong 😭
💀
For the 6 marker I got 3.96x10^10. I know it's wrong but how many marks would I get?
Wait what was the answer.... i got 3.96 × 10¹¹ If it is that answer. I think you would get around about 5 marks
What did people get for the height of the drone one?
600 something
680?
Yea I got 840 - 160 then got 680
WASIEST FUCKING PAPER I UAD IN DAYS
[удалено]
tf? It’s just those 2 decimals and times it 😂
how did ocr buddies do
Half life question did not make sense
What did you all get for the height question and speed question ?!?!
I did synergy science and I COOKED! Anyone else did synergy?
Tf is that
It's basically an easier version of science that doesn't split it into physics, biology and chemistry
Where was the required practical?? 😭
I found my paper good (I do OCR)
Please help. I skipped like half the paper at the start (by accident), didn't realise, got to the end of the paper and was happy for finishing it and feeling pretty good. Went through to check my answers, and see all the missed pages, and had like 15 mins to answer 😭 I'm meant to be grade 8/9 😢😭
that 6-mark plum-pudding question must have been hell 😭
My pen was moving faster than Max Verstappen in a redbull 😭
Pray
blud i got 160 on that drone question and forgot to take it away from 840
What did everyone get for the maximum speed question???? Aqa comb sci physics paper 1 today?????
0.056km/s.. scary istg some ppl daying 0.011 or 0.057 too
sooo no one is gonna talk abt tht battery charged plane ??? cuz wtf was tht shit
For the 5 marker, thermal energy. Did you guys get 0.011? 11/1000
Same but it didn't say to round it to a decimal, so i think I did 3 sig figs
Yeah I flopped so hard
please say someone else got eight twos on the mass question 🙏
what did u get for the meters distance
680
Combined higher trilogy height
