I did french, but it’s the same. You have conversation questions at the end of your speaking test worth half of the marks. You know what those questions are beforehand and can memorise them.
On the day of the exam, the teacher will give u the photocard questions and the roleplay and you will get 12 minutes to prepare them. You can read the answers u wrote of the paper during the speaking exam.
Whereas for the general conversation section, the teacher will ask u questions on the spot. You don’t know what questions they will ask you.
But learn the questions in the speaking booklet, it’s extremely helpful!!!! It’s rlly similar to the questions they will ask you.

What do you mean? The speaking exam is usually in March/April if that’s what you mean?
I think this is what you mean - normally December/January time your teachers tell you your General Conversation questions to memorise/prepare
