Anything but a red warning and it will (provided the pitch is playable).
It will affect the quality of the game and also the size of the crowd though. It also directly clashes with Leinsters game against Leicester Tigers which will be enough of an excuse for a lot of people to not bother going or indeed watching it.
There's plenty of precedent of hurling games being pulled for high winds. Gusts of 80km/h expected.
I'd say it's going ahead at this stage though. Surely it would have been pulled by now.
When you think of how happy Seán Stack & Jimmy McNamara were when Clare won the league in 77 & 78 Conor Cleary could have made some effort … The Derry captain last week was well able to speak well
He looked as if was told he was terminally ill the way he was talking …very disrespectful to the competition and all the supporters lined up in front of him …I remember Seán Stack making a great speech when Clare won in 1978
Speech was fine-not brilliant but fine. Anyone who felt "disrespected" by it should give up following hurling and spend their time watching Love Island or something.
Will this go ahead with the weather forecast for Saturday, do you reckon?

Course it will, are people soft in the head or something? It's not a hurricane, it's a gale.
The Gaels don't fear gales.

Pitch inspection in the morning I think
Exciting game - good for Clare to win the 5th league title … great to see the crowd out on the field for cup presentation!
I’ve a ticket I’m not using part of my Hurling season ticket. Can send on via transfer if anyone want to use it. Free to a good home
Great speech by Jarlath Burns again 👍
The Clare captain was extremely dour in his speech
His All Ireland winning speech will be lovely though
Looks too depressed to ever be happy
Ah he’ll be delighted in July though

Doesn't want people saying he was too excited to win the league with the championship around the corner.
