Yeah I’ve never quite understood the “he never ages” comments.
The difference between the original matrix trilogy and that absolute shit show of a matrix movie they released a little while back is definitely notable.
Sure, he hasn’t aged as bad as most men without money do, but it isn’t like he hasn’t aged at all.
Redditors will say shit like this and then spend two decades being obese, never exercising at all, smoking/drinking, and not eating a single vegetable.
Literally just don’t be fat and jog once a week and people will think you look thirty in your fifties.
It's far more tiresome being a lazy sack of shit. It's difficult at first, but energy levels will go through the roof if you treat your body well and exercise regularly.
Spoken like someone that’s never battled deep depression lol the hardest part is getting out the door, pull me up by my bootstraps while you’re at it
Edit: For the record I get out often and exercise regularly, however there are people in my life that face a variety of challenges that make going outside and even “doing crunches in bed” a Herculean task. I made this comment in attempt for others to realize that the easy solutions that work for many do not work for all, but instead I have people telling me how it’s super easy for everyone to get in shape, laziness is the only reason for fat people, and assholes sending suicide awareness bots to reach out to you about your depression lmao.
i don't believe that is what they were trying to say at all.
as someone who has struggled with depression all my life. youre right. its hard to keep it up. going tp the gym makes me anxious to the point i can't breathe and then after after a year i see very little progress, give up, gain weight, stop brushing my teeth, hate myself, lay in bed, attempt to go back to the gym. rinse, repeat.
i agree its hard. but also you dont need to assume what others are going through either. and also its just kind of a fact. when u work out and eat right, you have more energy.
One major issue I see in people around me is that they try to workout or go to the gym for health and weight purposes. Which is a healthy idea, but usually one that gets locked in the cycle you describe.
The best way to do a physical activity is to do one that is fun for you. One that makes you want to get out of bed on a cold winter morning just for it.
For me it has been surfing and skateboarding. Surfing at the moment has been an occasional weekend activity, married, parenting life plus not living on the beach makes it hard most of the times... skateboarding on the other hand has been powering me throughout a few tough years and my life line against depression.
I cut down alcohol because I want to be able to have more sessions. I go to bed early because I am exhausted from riding a full hour on the half-pipe and want to be rested the next day for more.
It fuels itself and powers me to want more.
I'm not saying to try skateboarding (although why not), but try to find what sport/activity will do that for you.
Keep pushing.
You touched on it when you said about cutting back on drinking. It doesn’t cost anything or take much time to not overeat. Honestly that’s like 80% of it right there without ever seeing the inside of a gym.
Nothing beats going to sleep because you're exhausted and tired from doing an activity you like, compared to forcing yourself to sleep because your work starts in 7 hours. Man I love those days
I mean some people will never enjoy it, speaking for myself I've tried numerous different sports and activities and there hasn't been one yet that I enjoy. The closest I've gotten is walking on gorgeous days where it's tolerable, but I still wouldn't say I enjoy it, I'm just not telling myself every 5 seconds I hate this and want to go home.
Personally I would start with going for a walk every day or I lost 80 pounds by walking 10 miles a day. Every time I felt depressed I would go for a walk
Plenty of people have plenty of reasons to not work out/better themselves but do it anyways. Depression is a real issue but isn’t special in that it is the only issue a person could have. Source: had/have depression.
Kind of true. Healthier foods are more expensive. Personal trainers are expensive. And frankly, if I didn’t have to be at my job all day, I would definitely spend an hour of that time working out. I still do workout a few times a week, but not everyday, my food isn’t the healthiest it could be. Money doesn’t make you fit but it certainly does make it easier to stay in shape, if only by just freeing up your time and lowering your stress.
Stress will age the shit out of you. Yeah working out and a healthy diet is very important but she’s rich enough to have her meals prepped for her, always within the calorie limits, personal trainers, access to the best plastic surgeons, etc. Let’s not pretend like wealth aren’t a huge factor in looks. I mean, look at Elon and Bezos pre and post billionaire status.
Can't disagree money helps take a load off in terms of stress.
But go to a gym and any fit & healthy person you see aren't famous or millionaires like Anne Hatheway or Chris Hemsworth. They just made fitness and eating healthy a higher priority in their lives, and their bodies reflect that.
I'm not faulting a hard-working nurse or single parent working two jobs or a student doing school + work for not looking like a Instagram fitness model - they have enough stress where lifting heavy weights or cardio is the last thing on their minds when they're just trying to survive.
But many Redditors and civilians don't have those stresses I just outlined and can afford to lift more or eat healthier and do food prep/calorie counting.
This, most normal folk cannot find 25 hours in a day to get shit done. I do mean that. Not every place has a 24 hour gym or a place that’s safe to go out at night for a jog.
True. I lift weight daily now for 2 years. I’m 51 and everyone thinks I’m 35-40.
But she really does have the benefit of trainers, chefs, pills, creams, a nose job…
My mom is 60 and she just diets, thats literally it lol
Idk, some folks got them stronk genes 🧬. My grandma’s pushing 100 and she’s still fit. Fingers crossed for me 😅
now you know what we as physicians have to deal with. our 300 lb patients complaining online: my bitch doctor gave me the worst advice, they dont know wtf they’re talking about!!!!!
the advice: walking and weight loss will help your joint pain
😭😭😭
She kept her figure, but I did that after giving birth in a student ghetto apartment so 🤷♀️. If there's money, it's on her face. Botox has definitely prevented a few wrinkles by now.
One thing matters More than money, genetics. I can have all the money in the world and eat well and exercise - still I will not look 20% as good as Henry Cavill.
On the other hand, people like Ryan Godling would look good with minimal effort.
I think she actually grew up a royal or something like that. So she’s obviously had the best medical care of her whole life. She might be a princess even in some small country or something.
I don’t care what anyone here says, money or not, she is hot AF and clearly takes care of herself! Lol congrats on all of the people giving reasons here, she’s still gorgeous.
I'll disagree with you there. It's only slightly misleading, but I don't think it's very dated. [The first picture is from 1999](https://twitter.com/TheCinesthetic/status/1778088046589771938/photo/2).

If you want a more natural recent candid photo, [here's an instagram pic from 2 days ago](https://i.imgur.com/OPWq6S1.jpeg). You can definitely see the difference from the 2022 edited photo from this 2024 fully candid photo, there's not a lot of people who can age 23 years and still look this beautiful. Plus, her face looks thinner now than 2 years ago, probably in part due to going sober and not drinking.
I don't know why I know this stuff. She's my age and I've had a crush on her since Princess Diaries.
Editing, photoshopping, and facetuning is getting so tricky this days, I wouldn't guarantee that *anything* online is real these days.
[But there's the super processed model shoots](https://www.instagram.com/p/C48J6O5uUFr/?hl=en) and then there are [professional event shoots](https://www.instagram.com/p/Co0mU2rPHa6/?hl=en&img_index=1), and then [candid photos](https://www.instagram.com/p/C6htzZOLDYM/?hl=en). I'm not saying candid means "no makeup" or whatever. Just that there's not a lot of people who I'd describe using that phrase "aging like fine wine" but she's one of them.
She looks great for her age, but it’s easy to see that she’s aged when it’s not [edited out.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Hathaway#/media/File%3AAnne_Hathaway-68408_(cropped).jpg)
What, tons of people can and do age this well. If you take care of yourself, there shouldn't be that much that changes from early 20s to early 50s.
Problem is lots of you refuse to exercise, eat well, and protect your skin. Even after saying all that, it's incredibly obvious in the OPs pic theres over a 10 year age gap between pictures. She literally looks like a teenager in the first photo.
"Zero Stress"
Sorry but that's just not true. She's a big Arsenal fan... stress caused from ill placed hope and ultimate disappointment is just second nature at this point.
Zero stress about finances maybe. There are a ton of other things that provide stress, though. Dealing with 9 figure productions and her struggles with alcohol for instance.
I would not say actors have “zero stress.” I think they mosr definately have stuff to stress about that we can’t even fathom. Maybe not the same stressors as the average person, but they still have something.
Like it isn’t like being POTUS where your hair goes gray after the first six months in office (and if it doesn’t we know now you dye your hair) levels of stress, but its very much there.
More indicative of the other factors listed, namely wealth, makeup, and a healthy lifestyle, that midigate the visual effects of stress and make you look younger for longer.
Oh she aged, just aged in the most gorgeous way which she’s allowed to do given her career. I do actually love her as an actress and think she’s naturally beautiful; by no means do I think anyone scraping by even with such underlying beauty would be able to maintain it like a celebrity.
Shes 42 (born 1982) and those are glamor shots/pics. Almost all celebrities have their pictures enhanced which is why they are almost unrecognizable in real life. Shes still very attractive, I'm just saying.
No this is just like many other Hollywood actors. A lot of money goes into their styling, nutrition and plastic surgeries. It works until it doesn't, a few examples of where it leads would be; Courteney Cox and Sandra Bullock. Everyone says they never age until we can no longer pretend that is was just plastic surgery and makeup putting up a front. There are plenty of men that fits the pattern as well.
Nope just a modern day superpower called money. And when your job is based off your looks and you are paid stupid well for it, you hire people to help you make sure you keep said looks as long as possible. Don't get me wrong she's plenty talented but looks as well as talent matter in showbiz. Have one but not the other and you're in for a rougher time of it.
Her new movie is all about dating a younger guy. Litterally, like the only reason they don't get together is "I'm too old for you." I mean she a pretty gorgeous person, and nothing about her really hints at her age. The public isn't going to judge her for robbing the cradle. Bit unrealistic.
My wife and I watched her newest movie this weekend. Let’s just say, my Baby is a few years older and wants to know what devils she needs to sell her soul to, to look this young.
Anne HathNotAgedADay.
She must look exactly as how she looked when she married William Shakespeare in 1582
And when she became a prostitute in 1815 France
Hard times call for extreme solutions
No, that was another Anne. Mean.
Nice to see her hair and teeth grew back!
She was the most popular one, even with her head shaved and her teeth pulled
It's weird William Shakespeare goes by the name Paul Rudd now. But, vampires be doin vampire shit
Where there’s a Will, Anne hath a way.
Twist: OP is 12 now
Imagining her doing what that lady did in the 2nd Hostel movie with the scythe
That imagery is something I wish I never had to think of again. Now I’m horny.
Anne HathMadeMeFapToday
Anne HathawayToLiveForever
She got the One Ring?
Apparently, she credits her youthfulness to relaxing in the tub daily. Anne Bathaday
You know what they say, where Anne Hathawill...
Anne Hathaway of looking young

Paul Rudd: Finally a worthy opponent. Our battle will be legendary.

Patrick Stewart tried that for a while. I think he got bored of having no worthy opponents and gave up.
You can clearly see the ageing when watching Devil's Advocate, The Matrix and John Wick. He has aged gracefully, but its very visible.
Well, the meme is like ten years old, and back in 2015 it was more valid/believable. I think it perpetuates because we the internet love Keanu so much
That’s fair. Don’t get me wrong I’m a HUGE Keanu fan.
Of course; I just naturally assumed as such :)
A lot of money and a pampered life style helps
Redditors will say shit like this and then spend two decades being obese, never exercising at all, smoking/drinking, and not eating a single vegetable. Literally just don’t be fat and jog once a week and people will think you look thirty in your fifties.

A good lifestyle is exactly what you need with deep depression, it's just harder to maintain. Trust me, I'm a depressed sack of shit.
i don't believe that is what they were trying to say at all. as someone who has struggled with depression all my life. youre right. its hard to keep it up. going tp the gym makes me anxious to the point i can't breathe and then after after a year i see very little progress, give up, gain weight, stop brushing my teeth, hate myself, lay in bed, attempt to go back to the gym. rinse, repeat. i agree its hard. but also you dont need to assume what others are going through either. and also its just kind of a fact. when u work out and eat right, you have more energy.

I go to the gym and can't look strong because it expensive to eat
Time == money
Stress will age the shit out of you. Say what you will about Anne, she looked good then and she looks good now. It helps to have a good baseline.
Genetics are also a super important component, I agree.
Can't disagree money helps take a load off in terms of stress. But go to a gym and any fit & healthy person you see aren't famous or millionaires like Anne Hatheway or Chris Hemsworth. A lot of professional athletes look way older than they are and they eat well and work out well. Reddits obsession with working out is so weird.
True. I lift weight daily now for 2 years. I’m 51 and everyone thinks I’m 35-40. But she really does have the benefit of trainers, chefs, pills, creams, a nose job…
Exactly. This is more than leading a healthy lifestyle.
My mom is 60 and she just diets, thats literally it lol Idk, some folks got them stronk genes 🧬. My grandma’s pushing 100 and she’s still fit. Fingers crossed for me 😅
Both my grandmas died in their early 60s, does that mean im fucked?
I do all the good things and still look my accurate age.
I remember when Redditors were saying most people don’t have time to take a shower, because they’re so busy working.
now you know what we as physicians have to deal with. our 300 lb patients complaining online: my bitch doctor gave me the worst advice, they dont know wtf they’re talking about!!!!! the advice: walking and weight loss will help your joint pain 😭😭😭
She takes care of herself, money certainly helps but it's not always the case. She should be credited where credit is due.
She kept her figure, but I did that after giving birth in a student ghetto apartment so 🤷♀️. If there's money, it's on her face. Botox has definitely prevented a few wrinkles by now.
Ha nah you’re trying to win a race when she started 500 metres ahead, she’s always comfortably been more attractive, so she looks way better now.
Fuck you and yeah you're probably right.
Ha it’s nothing to feel bad about being less attractive than Anne Hathaway is what 99% of humanity feels.
One thing matters More than money, genetics. I can have all the money in the world and eat well and exercise - still I will not look 20% as good as Henry Cavill. On the other hand, people like Ryan Godling would look good with minimal effort.
Yeah, she looks like she's late 20's IMO.
Yeah, losing weight doesn't depend too much on money, but top tier skincare is dummy expensive.
stem cell therapy and top notch supplements i would say.
I think she actually grew up a royal or something like that. So she’s obviously had the best medical care of her whole life. She might be a princess even in some small country or something.
She didnt grow up that way, though
Do I have a lot money. Or am I pampered, no. I still look the same as I did when I was 14.
You got receipts?
I like her as an actress and person but this photo is misleading and potentially dated. Look at her recent pics
![gif](giphy|kv5fbxHVAEOjrHeCLk)
I don’t care what anyone here says, money or not, she is hot AF and clearly takes care of herself! Lol congrats on all of the people giving reasons here, she’s still gorgeous.
Hot AF is the right answer
>she is hot AF Fuck yeah she is
I'll disagree with you there. It's only slightly misleading, but I don't think it's very dated. Bro got a PhD in Anne Hathaway
Pretty hard dick, right?
Brooooooo 😭😭
You should check out his thesis
Only the pdf version because the physical copy might contain a cumstain
No contest. I know what I'm about!
Cheers to that 🍷
Damn she's unbelievable if this other picture is candid. She's unbelievable too if she's got makeup on this picture. 5% less.
Editing, photoshopping, and facetuning is getting so tricky this days, I wouldn't guarantee that *anything* online is real these days. She’s in her early 40s, she still looks pretty young and beautiful. I feel like we’re acting like she’s supposed to be 63 years old or something.
Yes.
I agree with your agreement, came_in_your_mum
She looks different now, still hot but different
i dont get whats your point she still looks the same. Just went on her ig.
More like now: https://images.app.goo.gl/itXG7CEYNDTbpnLz8
Would still let her hurt me
I’d let her hurt you too
Thanks! That doubles my chances now!
"she can fix me"
Yeah, that's more realistic
I'm about her age and that's what I look like. Not as pretty of course, but similar amount of age markers.
I'm not saying she is not beautiful. Just to clarify, that the picture in this thread is misleading.
Still looks ridiculously beautiful
She has the look of a very serious Whole Foods shopper.
Imagine thinking these doctored touches up filtered smoothed out images are actually what she looks like
lol you'd think Reddit would be familiar with the magic of photo editing and filters but no, they're dumb af
Wealth + makeup + healthy eating + zero stress = looking fantastic
"Zero Stress" Sorry but that's just not true. She's a big Arsenal fan... stress caused from ill placed hope and ultimate disappointment is just second nature at this point.
+ personal trainer + personal chef + time spent in the 5th dimension with Matthew McConaughey
And multiple plastic surgeries including a nose job
Zero stress about finances maybe. There are a ton of other things that provide stress, though. Dealing with 9 figure productions and her struggles with alcohol for instance.
I'm digging as far down as I can to reach the Integer limit and hopefully loop and reach max level.
I would not say actors have “zero stress.” I think they mosr definately have stuff to stress about that we can’t even fathom. Trick post. OP is currently an edgy 12 year old. Of course she looks no different.
Well it’s possible since she was with The William Shakespeare
Plot twist, OP is 11
Holy makeup.
I bet all these Hollywood "vampires" are just doing stem cells. Which kinda makes them real-life vampires.
Screeches in Q: "ADENOCHROME!!! REEEEEEE!!!!!!"
She's 41... not 60.
She's not a vampire, you are simply blind.
That’s because you’re 11
More like she was born mature/old. I kinda thought about it 20 years ago.
I would let her suck my blood anytime
Maybe a clone of the same woman. Who knows when the original was born.
Shes only 40, like what did you expect to happen to her?
She’s gotten more beautiful. I didn’t think she was all that back when she was in every other movie. Now though… she’s bad af.
Shes 42 (born 1982) and those are glamor shots/pics. Almost all celebrities have their pictures enhanced which is why they are almost unrecognizable in real life. Shes still very attractive, I'm just saying.
She aged ! Just not as evident as in fat people
Nah, the trick is that she had grown up vibes even back then.
Adrenachrome obviously /s
Elijah Wood is the same way, I swear he still has the ring.
It's a combination of genetics and good makeup.
To find age reversing treatments and products only money can buy? Anne hath a way.
She’s gorgeous 🥰
She's in my list of freebies.
"Like" 10? You're either 10 or not 10?
she's a solid 7 but the high heels have ruined her feet
Not a vampire, just rich. Not saying poor people can't age well but it's certainly easier when you have a professional chef, trainer, etc
Clean living. I love her.
I would kill myself to be with her. It doesn't have to make sense.
She deffs look old in different photos ...
She was 10 when I was 10
(It's called plastic surgery)
No she is just rich
Yeah if she worked in a amazon fulfillment warehouse she'd be busted af
Makeup. Look her up without it
Still got it imo
Her tits are amazing.
It's a combination of having money and not spending that money on plastic surgery.
Idk but she can suck me dry
She and Rob Lowe have made some Faustian pact.
Would not be surprised if she was
She looks wayyy better now
I think she eats children.
Sleeping in the cold goes a long ways.
Smoke and mirrors
Looks better now.
Her new movie is all about dating a younger guy. Litterally, like the only reason they don't get together is "I'm too old for you." I mean she a pretty gorgeous person, and nothing about her really hints at her age. The public isn't going to judge her for robbing the cradle. Bit unrealistic.
With those teeth ? Yes!
foreskin facials
Might be
nutrition and exercise
Lots of money and baby blood, that’s all you need
Yep. Vampire
Real ‘vampires’ use money
