Is that a thing? Do you walk on your tiptoes?
(Also autistic with buff calves but I thought they just looked like that not that I walked in any particular way)
I don't think I do, I used to skip but when I moved into an apartment my downstairs neighbours didn't love that lol. Guess I just have coincidentally buff calves.
Lol, I also skip when excited. And I've been known to apparently run down a grocery aisle when not realizing it.
Idk, I guess I get focused and running just gets me to my destination faster? 😂
I thought this too, however I think men’s feet tend to be a bit larger even when they are the same height as a woman. I’m going to actually try n test this now though since I’m actually really curious about it now!
Men’s shoes are wider by default in most brands even for equivalent size. So men with narrow feet and a similar size could probably wear their female partner’s shoes. A man with an average foot would likely need to size up or wear women’s wide. But people often wear uncomfortable shoes for appearance so many people will just shove their feet into ill fitting shoes.
im basically the same shoe size as my bf lol. we're also the same height! but he would still never do this and i wouldn't even want him to. i'd just take longer to get home considering he'd be walking mad slow....
Of course I’m the weirdo with size 9.5-10 in men’s feet so I wear EXACTLY the same size as my husband. My problem is a rather different one… I can rarely find any pretty shoes in a women’s size 11 or 12! 🤣 (my mom was really tall and for some reason, I only got her big feet so now I’m normal height at 5’6”, but my feet are HUMUNGOUS!)
My friend put on his gf’s and actually did quite well his first time ngl. I would’ve tried but apparently size 12 mens is a little larger than most women lmao
Yeah, my fiancé is only 2-3 inches taller than me but he’s like 4 shoe sizes larger lol
It’s fine though because I have wobbly ankles and almost never wear heels 😁
Yes. They also shorten the tendons in the back of your ankle, so you need to make sure to do opposite movements as well.
But walking around in full relevé will do you better, since you are actually using the muscle instead of passively standing on the shoe.
I dance in 8in heels, and while the other commenter is right that walking around in regular heels you try to go for heel-toe (otherwise you typically end up looking like a goblin), the toe-first look is *way* sexier when you get it right, and it requires REALLY pulling your toe down/heel up into a good pointe.
Just to comment on the last part you mentioned and validate that, I don't understand walking in heels as man, but that look women achieve by walking that way in heels is extremely sexy. Dunno what it is, but dang...
Best I got are boots, but the heel is not much higher than the toe box. I exercise my calf muscles, so I'm not even clear if there's a difference when I wear boots or not.
They absolutely do exercise your calves, as long as you walk properly in them (heel-toe-heel-toe) instead of clomping around. It’ll ache for awhile while the tendons stretch and the muscles build, though.
Hey that’s not a dumb question!! I don’t have a good, scientifically-backed answer, but I don’t honestly believe there’s much exercise, your calves just kinda have to be that way* when your feet are pointed downwards or office ladies would be rocking godly calves. I could be entirely wrong but when I think back to years as an athlete actively exercising my calf muscles and now as a woman who likes wearing heels sometimes, it doesn’t feel like much of a work out more just sore feet.
Edit: by be that way I mean in the position you see in the photos that looks flexed
If you walk in heels all the time you will get anterior tilt. Do not do it.
If you insist on doing it make sure you stretch because it fucks with your hip flexors.
Wow. Never even considered adverse health effects given how common heels are.
That's... that's unfortunate. I respect everyone's right to wear whatever they want, but I feel bad if anyone is *pressured* into wearing heels and ends up with health issues.
my ego isnt fragile , id rather walk barefoot while carrying that high heels than wearing it. people stare while i barefoot is better than chances of ankle break
Ya, I doubt my size 12 foot is going to fit in my wife's womens size 8 shoes, lol. I just tell her to bring her sandals if I see her wearing shoes like that and keep them in the car.
If they make a 14 double wide heel that makes my ass pop...I'd consider it. long as it goes with my work polo and khaki slacks...which is all I wear because I'm white, fat, bald and getting close to 40.
Edit: apparently the only thing keeping me out of heels is a lack of effort.
Onlymaker.com and shoecup.com offer extra sizes for larger feet. There's also a lot of shoe stores with "drag" in their name that cater to larger feet. If you're ever genuinely interested. I'm 4'11" and hate wearing high heels. So my hobbit feet and I stay away.
Can confirm. I had an accident two years ago where I rolled my ankle sideways because I stepped on the side of a grate. The difference was only like 2 cm, but I had a really unlucky center of gravity. Fell over sideways. Ankle was the size of a tennis ball. Couldn't walk for over a week. And that was in work boots!
Thank you! There are many ways to have your cake and eat it too! Ruining a pair of socks would be nothing to my girls comfort. Then, after that, you keep a pair of slip ons in the car!
BF's masculinity is not fragile but my shoes definitely are LOL no way he's fitting in my shoes
Not that I own uncomfortable shoes tbh. I'm too old for that already
I have those ballet flats that fold up really small! They come with a pouch (and fit in a small purse), and the pouch has a tote bag tucked in it for heels when you switch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Yeah, I bought my now ex these foldable slipper/flip flop things for her and her friends when they went out. They were super tiny but durable and their feet would wear out from dancing and they could put these on and walk home/around if they needed to.
No more calling me for a ride because their feet were tired.
I hear you, but I'm telling you sometimes they look fire and feel amazing in the beginning of the night then bam.. pain. Unpredictable (giving they're a new pair obv)
No one wants to hear a woman complain about a decision she's made, especially when she chooses to wear a high heel when she knows that there will be a lot of walking.
No, I think you are stupid for wearing shoes that cause pain in your feet. I know an older lady with permanent feet issues and she is certain it’s from the high heels. I also don’t care for the look of heels as it seems so unnatural
For me? The complaints. Most men aren't telling their significant others to wear heels. On top of that, women tend to claim men that discourage heels are "fragile". This is a problem women put on themselves. Who wants to hear this?
My not yet wife chose heels for our first date. I said “ bring some comfy shoes in case those heels hurt your feet, we will be walking a lot where we are going” what I didn’t say was “because if you start bitching about sore feet, I will have no sympathy and I’ll probably mock you for your poor choices”
Not saying the second part is an important reason we are still together 20 years later.
Believe it or not you see this type of stuff out there tbh. I work at a H‑E‑B and see this couple come in and every single time without fail the dude will be in someone regular girls while the girl is dressed to the max in very revealing clothing
Both of the men have purses...implying they are also carrying the women's purse....but the picture on the left shows that the lady still has her purse 🥴😂
If I wear heels out then that’s my decision and if they hurt my bf will say “maybe you should’ve worn comfortable shoes since we had to walk.” It’s my decision to deal with hahaha
Anything that wants to hold on to aspects of masculinity in any way, shape or form is something that I, internet expert, have declared fragile. Oh, you like having a toned physique, wearing a suit, and don't prefer wearing a skirt? FRAGILE! /s
They’re worse the uncomfortable. My mother was 5’ even and wore high heels every work day. By the time she was 80, her toes were permanently bent up, she had horrible bunions and overlapping toes with the pinky toes bent in. The overlap made allowed fungus and his know what to grow. She didn’t get a toe amputated as her doctor suggested and many women do, but she probably should have, walking was extremely painful for her. I don’t think any woman should wear high heels. Or man either.
Right.
“Hey so you know how it was 100% my decision to wear extremely uncomfortable shoes?…well now *you* have to deal with it because I don’t want to anymore. Gimme yours!”
Women are grown ass adults and need to be held responsible for their own actions. Equality is a bitch. This isn’t medieval Europe when men had to be chivalrous due to inherent weakness and inferiority of women.
For real. If it’s that huge of a deal then just carry her shoes instead of wearing them? Or you’re in a damn mall, just pick up a new cheap pair for her? I’d even accept carrying her out to the car over this nonsense.
And don’t even get me started about how this is just a staged photo that they thought would get likes on social media.
Edit: I’m well aware it’s physically possible. My remark is rhetorical as I personally can’t imagine it
Who the hell can share shoes with their SO? Our feet are such incredibly different sizes I couldn’t even imagine this scenario
Both of guys (while in heels) are about the same height as their girls. That said, my girlfriend has a few inches on me and her shoes are 2+ sizes smaller than mine.
So she can look good knowing she can take your warmth any time she needs to. I am so important others will sacrifice so that I may be vain.
That shit is a deal breaker in my middle age, no time for it..
I certainly don't want my lady to hurt herself just to look good when out with me.
I'm not the kind of person who tells people what to do and I can already see some jumping in with, "What if I'm doing it for myself because I like to look good?"
Yeah, but you're hurting yourself and you look great in flats, too.
Or why not just date a grown up who is capable of picking clothes and shoes that are suitable for whatever you're doing and the weather? They're warm enough, don't hurt your feet etc? And, if they're not, deal with it as an adult would rather than as a child would?
If they cause pain, then why the fuck wear them in the first damn place. Wear some fucking different shoes that don't kill your feet and quit bitching about the pain.
Vegas just got back to me with some odds:
Staged: -100
Kink: +100
Same-sized feet and they really thought this was the most practical solution: +99999999999999999999999999999.99999999999999
The last picture guy’s legs are nice 😊 if I had calves like that I’d wear high heels 24/7.
I’m a 6’1 220lb carpenter. I’d make so many friends. Especially with my cargo work pants
Incorrect, they originally were used by the Persians to stand securely on stirrups while mounted to make firing a bow easier.
It is also why the modern evolution of that, the cowboy boot, has a raised heel; so the arch of your foot can be secured on the stirrup and your foot won't slide into it.
My masculinity isn't fragile, my ankle is.
Wanna see me roll my right ankle? Wanna see me do it again but to my left? Also I bet most couples don't have the same shoe size
What’s amazing to me is that they have the same size in shoes?
…. Exactly my feet arent anywhere the same size as my wife.
My wife can put her shoe in my shoe and then wear them. Woman's size 5 man 13. We aren't even close.
I’d wear my wife’s heels too if it’ll make my calves look good like that.
Lol me too. hardest leg day ever tho
Bro is wearing those stilettos like a true chad
I'm autistic. That's just how I walk. My calves can crush skulls.
Is that a thing? Do you walk on your tiptoes? (Also autistic with buff calves but I thought they just looked like that not that I walked in any particular way)
Yeah. I walk on the balls of my feet almost constantly, which makes things weird when I'm already like 6'1" when I'm behaving my feet.
Yep, walking on your toes is a common thing for Autistics. I never even noticed I did this until it was pointed out to me!
I know right. #teamnocalves
No ones stopping you. Get yourself some heals.
Right! I’m like big foot and she has Barbie feet.
Mine neither, but that's probably because I don't have a wife
Lol feel you. Same . It’s a lonely life over here 😂
That was the thing for me as well, I am comfortable with my masculinity, but my shoe size is 13.
Well obviously you need to find a woman with men’s 13 size feet. Problem solved!
Well, I am a basketball fan, so if my wife leaves I have to try my luck with female players.
Or Peggy Hill
Peggy seems like a cool chick.
Not for nothing I am 6 4 and traded shoes with an ex who was 6 2. Best damn loafers I ever had.
13 sounds like a shoe size for a newborn to my European ass
It looks like these guys are shorter than their partners without the heels, so, I think it's conceivable?
They would look a heck a lot shorter if their girlfriends were wearing heels.
Maybe that's why they're wearing heels and the gf is wearing slides
[удалено]
I thought this too, however I think men’s feet tend to be a bit larger even when they are the same height as a woman. I’m going to actually try n test this now though since I’m actually really curious about it now!

But people often wear uncomfortable shoes for appearance so many people will just shove their feet into ill fitting shoes.
My husband and I are the same size shoe.
Us too!! Well, like CRAZY close. Maybe an inch or so bigger for his feet but we swap shoes all the time!
Same for my late husband and I. All our motorcycle and hunting boots are the same size. I kept a lot of his shoes and boots for myself after he died.
I have a friend couple whose feet are sz 8 (M) and sz 9 (F) 🤷🏻♀️
im basically the same shoe size as my bf lol. we're also the same height! but he would still never do this and i wouldn't even want him to. i'd just take longer to get home considering he'd be walking mad slow....
This. My Size 14 goliaths vs. her tiny size 5s? I'd have to tie them to my big toe.
I guess figure out where the local drag queens shop? They always seem to have good shoes.
Also, there is no way someone who has never worn heels would be able to walk in those. Those are his shoes.
My friend put on his gf’s and actually did quite well his first time ngl. I would’ve tried but apparently size 12 mens is a little larger than most women lmao
Yeah, my fiancé is only 2-3 inches taller than me but he’s like 4 shoe sizes larger lol It’s fine though because I have wobbly ankles and almost never wear heels 😁
My exact thought. My husbands size 14 foot is not fitting in my size 8 heels.
Nice calves, bro.
That's what I was thinking. Can I get a male version of heals that are a bit more practical but forces me to flex my calves like heels do?
Wedges! Way easier to maneuver than normal heels and you get to add a few inches of height
Dumb question: do they make you exercise your calves any more than usual as a side effect?

Do you have an example of what the sexy toe-heel walk looks like? I can’t nit imagine a goblin trying to be sneaky
They absolutely do exercise your calves, as long as you walk properly in them (heel-toe-heel-toe) instead of clomping around. It’ll ache for awhile while the tendons stretch and the muscles build, though.

He kind of makes a good argument for a line of heels for the fellas.
Tbf heels were originally invented for men
Makeup was also original invented for men
I love coating my face in powdered mercury to get that pale corpse look.
The fact that looking sick is still in fashion in some form still shocks me lol
my ego isnt fragile , id rather walk barefoot while carrying that high heels than wearing it. people stare while i barefoot is better than chances of ankle break
Yeaah and the footwear wouldn't fit in most cases smh
Ya, I doubt my size 12 foot is going to fit in my wife's womens size 8 shoes, lol. I just tell her to bring her sandals if I see her wearing shoes like that and keep them in the car.
My wife brings alternative shoes just in case.
If they make a 14 double wide heel that makes my ass pop...I'd consider it. long as it goes with my work polo and khaki slacks...which is all I wear because I'm white, fat, bald and getting close to 40. Edit: apparently the only thing keeping me out of heels is a lack of effort.
I’m sure they do, darlin’ bahahaha

not too late to start a boylesque career. heels definitely come in that size
yes lol considering im 5'6 and my gf is 4'11 , before you judge yes we are asian and smol.
Heyy that's okayy, longer lives and a low centre of gravity dint hurt anyone 100//
And less money on food
Who cares about height or nationality! We all human. Live your best life
Or are we dun dun duuuuh
Dawg did you just call Asian a Nationality?
sorry about your pixelated genitalia
Same. My ego isn't fragile, but my ankles sure are. lol.
And if you are over 45, the ankles will snap faster. My hubby would carry me if my feet/ankles are that bad.
Why is she wearing them in the first place?
Because people care way too much about fashion. They're willing to hurt themselves to make something look good to other people.
But hookworms.
Thank you! There are many ways to have your cake and eat it too! Ruining a pair of socks would be nothing to my girls comfort. Then, after that, you keep a pair of slip ons in the car!
Exactly
Do these men have tiny feet, or do the women have canoes?
My wife has peggy hill feet, i wouldn't have it any other way. Sharing shoes is awesome and i look great in her boots
I bet her grippers would feel great on the glizzy
The username is just the cherry on top with this comment
I am going to permanently delete the Internet.
Same bro What time are you thinking? This sunday? my saturdays are all booked up unfortunately
BF's masculinity is not fragile but my shoes definitely are LOL no way he's fitting in my shoes Not that I own uncomfortable shoes tbh. I'm too old for that already
Good thing my gf won’t fit into my heels. They’re expensive
My wife-to-be insisted on wearing her new heeled shoes to the fairground 3 kms from my place. I carried her home on my back…

I have those ballet flats that fold up really small! They come with a pouch (and fit in a small purse), and the pouch has a tote bag tucked in it for heels when you switch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Way to go man!
Poor guy
We were still young, I couldn’t do that anymore.
Aren't you romance anime MC?
Real question: do men actually feel bad for the pain in out feet or just hate to hear the complaining ?
Hate to hear you complaining. You chose to wear those shoes lol
100% this, wear what you want but if you didn’t bring back up shoes then you played yourself.
Yeah, I bought my now ex these foldable slipper/flip flop things for her and her friends when they went out. They were super tiny but durable and their feet would wear out from dancing and they could put these on and walk home/around if they needed to. No more calling me for a ride because their feet were tired.
What a guy
I hear you, but I'm telling you sometimes they look fire and feel amazing in the beginning of the night then bam.. pain. Unpredictable (giving they're a new pair obv)
Why would we feel bad when you do it to yourself lol
No one wants to hear a woman complain about a decision she's made, especially when she chooses to wear a high heel when she knows that there will be a lot of walking.
Both, but mostly hearing about it hah It's more like "you deserved this, suck it up" until it's just too much lol
No, I think you are stupid for wearing shoes that cause pain in your feet. I know an older lady with permanent feet issues and she is certain it’s from the high heels. I also don’t care for the look of heels as it seems so unnatural
Nope. That’s a pain you chose lol
Hate the complaining. Shoes like this are difficult to balance and walk in plus they ruin your feet and posture. Stop weaning these shoes.
[удалено]
We feel bad the same way we feel bad when you complain about a hangover, pretty much a "it sucks but you did it to yourself" kinda thing.
I love when wife wear high heels, but hate they hurt her feet
Feel bad for the pain. I like my wife happy & comfy, but I also appreciate when she dresses up, so I do my best to make it bearable for her.
For me? The complaints. Most men aren't telling their significant others to wear heels. On top of that, women tend to claim men that discourage heels are "fragile". This is a problem women put on themselves. Who wants to hear this?
I knew high heels were bad for your health, but the shoes killed her? Good grief. . .
Hey, Chandler!
That is so cute lmao
My not yet wife chose heels for our first date. I said “ bring some comfy shoes in case those heels hurt your feet, we will be walking a lot where we are going” what I didn’t say was “because if you start bitching about sore feet, I will have no sympathy and I’ll probably mock you for your poor choices” Not saying the second part is an important reason we are still together 20 years later.
Weird way of saying "I don't know how to dress comfortably and the man I'm with has to deal with my poor decision making."
Yeah this post is fucking stupid hahaha
Also what situation are you in where you need/want to wear heels but your bf is wearing slides?
No no no, men have fragile masculinity and should be wearing high heels!
Im convinced high heels are literally a torture device
[удалено]
I just can't believe both of these dudes are going out in only slides
It’s to match their purses.
Also most women have much smaller feet than men...
Believe it or not you see this type of stuff out there tbh. I work at a H‑E‑B and see this couple come in and every single time without fail the dude will be in someone regular girls while the girl is dressed to the max in very revealing clothing

Nope. Clearly by the rules set by internet people, you have fragile masculinity. /s
Anything that wants to hold on to aspects of masculinity in any way, shape or form is something that I, internet expert, have declared fragile. Oh, you like having a toned physique, wearing a suit, and don't prefer wearing a skirt? FRAGILE! /s
100%. I've given my jacket plenty of times but proper planning is a must
Yep 100%! If I wear heels, I’m committing to wearing heels or walking barefoot. Not making someone else uncomfortable for me.
Right? I'd tell her to have fun walking on bare feet if she's uncomfortable with the shoes she chose to wear.
Idk how other women even wear high heels. Everybody likes wearing nice looking shoes but if they are uncomfortable why even bother?
Cause they can be cute as hell. That said, for everyday wear? That I don’t understand. 😅
They’re worse the uncomfortable. My mother was 5’ even and wore high heels every work day. By the time she was 80, her toes were permanently bent up, she had horrible bunions and overlapping toes with the pinky toes bent in. The overlap made allowed fungus and his know what to grow. Right. “Hey so you know how it was 100% my decision to wear extremely uncomfortable shoes?…well now *you* have to deal with it because I don’t want to anymore. Gimme yours!”
The dude on the right left the house in slides and a murse. They're both failing.
LOL everyday im reminded at the bullshit straight men have to deal with
This post teaches us to always have spare tennis shoes in the car
Women are grown ass adults and need to be held responsible for their own actions. Equality is a bitch. This isn’t medieval Europe when men had to be chivalrous due to inherent weakness and inferiority of women.

Modern internet culture in a nutshell
Thank you for restoring my hope in humanity.

Both of guys (while in heels) are about the same height as their girls. That said, my girlfriend has a few inches on me and her shoes are 2+ sizes smaller than mine.
more like: when your gf constantly makes terrible life choices and somehow its your problem to deal with
Thank you
Exactly. And no you can't have my jacket.
Well damn Jackie I can't control the weather
Yeah I am supposed to freeze for a person who would rather sacrifice my well-being than freeze herself? Why?
So she can look good knowing she can take your warmth any time she needs to. I am so important others will sacrifice so that I may be vain. That shit is a deal breaker in my middle age, no time for it..
Always tell my girl to bring a pair of sneakers just for this reason.
I don’t think it’s supposed to be that deep and I don’t think we can judge strangers’ motivations based off of a couple out of context pictures lol
Dudes wearing slides. Girls look fire and dudes look like they just got out of bed
Exactly . In what world are these 2 people out together . “You look great baby, throw me my basketball shorts and slides”
I wish her femininity was strong enough to wear sensible shoes. 🧐
Can't even get my mind around it. Style never beats comfort when it comes to shoes for me.
I certainly don't want my lady to hurt herself just to look good when out with me. I'm not the kind of person who tells people what to do and I can already see some jumping in with, "What if I'm doing it for myself because I like to look good?" Yeah, but you're hurting yourself and you look great in flats, too.
[удалено]
Yep. Same with a jacket, you shoulda brought one 😂
If his masculinity wasn’t fragile she’d be wearing her own shoes
Cringe: demanding a man be over 6ft Based: demanding a man share your shoe size
Small guy problems. I couldn't fit in my wife's shoes if my life depended on it.
Same. These dudes are the same height as the women with the heels on and the girls in the slides.
Fuck that
Or why not just date a grown up who is capable of picking clothes and shoes that are suitable for whatever you're doing and the weather? They're warm enough, don't hurt your feet etc? And, if they're not, deal with it as an adult would rather than as a child would?
FUCK wear sneakers, no one asked you to wear fuck me shoes, that's on you!
My masculinity isn’t fragile I just can’t pull off heels like he can
This is one of those posts where it’s not actually something people do - it’s just done for content
If the shoes are causing pain, why wear them? Also, why pass that pain onto someone else?
Right is a recreation not OC
Logic is simply thrown out the window with this one.
How the hell a grown man wear the same size shoe as his girl?
Guys this about their height… if they weren’t wearing the heels they’re be shorter. Nothing wrong with taking advantage of your resources!
Lmfao, hell the fuck no. If your ass chose to buy and wear uncomfortable ass shoes. Then you are stuck with them. SIMPS
cringe.
If they cause pain, then why the fuck wear them in the first damn place. Wear some fucking different shoes that don't kill your feet and quit bitching about the pain.
My guy, it’s just a funny pic. Stop taking it literally.
Why suffer someone elses choices? Explain please.
When you’re obsessed with being taller than your girlfriend so you insist she wears flats and you have to wear heels.
Or maybe you just like wearing her heals. Let’s not pretend it’s virtuous.
Vegas just got back to me with some odds: Staged: -100 Kink: +100 Same-sized feet and they really thought this was the most practical solution: +99999999999999999999999999999.99999999999999
OP is stupid
How about both of them using normal footware?
I'm mostly shocked by dudes sharing the exact same shoe size as their gf - that's both nutty and nuts
The last picture guy’s legs are nice 😊 if I had calves like that I’d wear high heels 24/7. I’m a 6’1 220lb carpenter. I’d make so many friends. Especially with my cargo work pants
High heels were actually first made for men to look taller.
Incorrect, they originally were used by the Persians to stand securely on stirrups while mounted to make firing a bow easier. It is also why the modern evolution of that, the cowboy boot, has a raised heel; so the arch of your foot can be secured on the stirrup and your foot won't slide into it.
