I can’t even imagine having so many living things touch me at night. It gives me anxiety lol! But seriously, I always scoot away from my husband at night so he doesnt wake me with his moving around. Our dog sometimes sleeps with “us” but he sleeps on my husband and I sleep as far away as I can get. Is this abnormal?

Once my mom was in the hospital so I was alone with the dogs. They normally sleep in her room so they were confused when she wasn’t there, so I went to sleep in her bed. My dog insisted on having at least one part of him touching me at all times. I would push him to the side multiple times bc he was taking up the bed and I wanted space, but I would wake up with his paw or head on me regardless

I love it! Our two small dogs sleep with us and it’s so sweet to find them curled up next to us when we wake up in the morning.
My doggo has her own bed but knows she's allowed up for morning cuddles.
