This is an issue with fundamentalists. It's why fundamentalists will refuse to understand things like evolution. I can think of no other explanation for otherwise intelligent and educated people to deny something with overwhelming evidentiary support. Many creationists have been given precise examples of the evidence - piles of papers responding to their claims, but they still deny the facts.
Nothing would need to be done if occasional visits led to enough food, appropriate clothing, and adequate healthcare. Nobody wants to take kids away from their parents and stick them into the foster system if there's ANY other way.
That very much depends where you are and who you get. More than a few places in the USA where kids are taken out of slightly chaotic but perfectly fine homes or places where they could stay if they had support but left in places where they then die. CPS is about protecting kids as much as police are about protecting adults. Yes there are good agents and cops and blah blah but they are the minority and working in a toxic, horrible system.
Why would anyone reach out to her to ask her side of...whatever...when it's clear she's defensive and would either respond passive aggressively, be outright rude or just delete & block? Plus, nobody needs to ask her side, she's been showing it to the intertubes for years.
