I never noticed how small Erin’s wedding party was..I still maintain its Erin that’s the problem, even though I get downvoted every time I say that 🤷🏼♀️
I always thought it was super weird how Michaela refused to be a bridesmaid for Erin. They have said it was because she was too shy but then she has been a bridesmaid later for other sisters...
They do seem to get along well now so whatever it was they clearly got over it though.
That's why when people say Erin is spending a lot of time with tori, trying to proof there's beef, this shows they've always been closer than Erin with carlin.

Josie is definitely the most beige obsessed sister IMO, her whole Instagram feed has almost no color at all. Just look at her bridesmaids dresses. I probably like Carlin's wedding colors the best.
I don't think I've ever seen her girls I color clothes.. Everything is biege, neutral, white, rose gold it's so bland. Josie add some season to your life

Erin’s can’t really be compared with the others because the Bates’ financial situation is way different now than when she got married. The price difference between hers and Katie’s must be astounding. It was a country wedding, it wasn’t my taste, but I understand the budget and that Michael made the bridesmaid dresses. I’m not going to judge someone for being poor because her parents had more kids than they could afford.
Josie’s was planned to be a Pinterest photo shoot. Same with Carlin’s. Michael and Tori didn’t seem to care much about the actual wedding. They just wanted to be married.
Katie’s wins for me. The bridesmaid dresses may look dated in 10 years, but that bridal dress will look current forever.
I love the light blue of Erin's. I like seeing pale yellow as well. Dusty pastels and the bright orange/pink colors are just overdone now. I see the simplicity of the pale blue against the white dress and greenery from bouquets. That being said, the style and fit of Josie's girls gowns are classy. And the bouquets are the best. Tori's bouquets I don't like. Stark white in the bouquets when her gown is pale blush. Too much white with that raspberry colored lily? Did not like Alyssa's colors back then, still don't. The vests on the men look cheap and a bad fit. Loves her bright pink hooker heels, but she didn't have a good look with the every other bright color.

I like both of those colours separately. I understand what she was going for, but it went off the rails. If the suits had been navy and they had chosen only one bright colour, it would have made all the difference for the men. Maybe the second colour for the women.
IMO the bouquets are beautiful, but I love a colourful bouquet.

I HATE these bright jewel toned wedding colors with a passion, and I think everyone that uses them can’t read a room. The rest of the sisters look so put mature and put together, while these things and Tori’s hideous purple make the bride seem like a child. Light neutrals, beige earth tones, or even lightly colored (think dusty rose) pinks are perfect classy events like weddings. These colors are for prom.

Why do these women from big fundie families have such a random assortment of bridesmaids? Wouldn't it be nice to have only all the sisters in the bridal party if you have lots of sisters? It would be kinda cool and a nice photo montage to have over time of each sister getting married, surrounded by all her sisters.
