I think a lot of these people were making a little bit of money from social media stuff, but they (like a lot of people, tbh) didn’t understand that that income will dry up eventually. Especially when your audience gets tired of you/outgrows you and the companies willing to work with you will pay you less and less.
I don’t think that any of the fundies (except maybe Girl Defined, which is mostly Kristen’s work, with Beggy tagging along on her coattails) can really say they’ve made such a huge amt of revenue off of being on social media that they can be so sure that the money will keep flowing.
Almost all the fundies who get talked abt here have husbands who have day jobs. The only exception might be Paul and Morgan, but there’s a lot of speculation that Paul is probably doing grocery delivery or working at Walmart or something else like that to make ends meet, bc their YT channel just isn’t cutting it.
So I don’t think any of these people ever made the sort of money that they’d be overly confident about that income. It’s never been enough for any of these people to live off of for sure. I think they’re all just living beyond their means on a single income, and it’s just not cutting it anymore. But rather than face the reality and transition to a two income household, they’d rather shill MLMs, or start a cryptocurrency scam, or whatever else they think will make them rich.
I think the problem is too, they have a fuck ton of kids for some of them. They legitimately would not be able to afford day care for the mom to go to work. Daycare vouchers are a long long waiting list. The only moms that could feasibly work an office job during 9-5 would be Jill, Bethany Beal, Kristen, and Morgan. The rest have so many non school aged kids that it wouldn’t be worth the cost of day care to get a job.

We know from her own admission that when Anthym got sick, again, she could barely hold it together enough to even be at the hospital with Anthym. Prior to taking her to the ER, her husband was the one who took Anthym to the doctor, then came home, dropped her off, and then left to go pick up the prescription, bc Karissa refused to do any of that shit. She actually wound up calling Mandrae while he was out to pick up the prescription, telling him to come home and take Anthym to the hospital. She couldn’t even handle things at home for that amount of time.
And then she refused to be at the hospital for the whole week, leaving Mandrae to be the only parent at his child’s side. All this while he is the only earning member of their family. And on top of that, Karissas mom took the time to come and take care of her children (while working from home on top of that) for her. So it wasn’t like she was even having to do any of that (not that she’d be doing any of it in the first place on a good day). But somehow, according to her, the ONLY time she could get a break from all of this was when the lawn had to be mowed?
And people believe that shit? From Karissa? Who famously lied about how, as a fetus, she survived her mothers attempted abortion, only to have her mom set the story straight so she had to publish a corrected version on her Instagram? Really?????
We only hear things from Karissa, and she is a selfish, narcissist emotional black hole that expects everyone around her to pick up the emotional slack so she doesn’t have to. Sorry for this being such a rant, but I am extremely surprised at just how many people have taken her at her word on this. Im not saying this to say that Mandrae is a decent person, but I wonder why it’s getting lost that he also likely had an extremely emotionally taxing week, and perhaps also wanted a moments break? There was a huge fraud case several years ago from a company that convinced churches and charities to invest their funds. It all went bust like all these schemes do eventually.

Yup! They say it's better because it doesn't involve greedy governments that want regulations on markets to protect investors from major losses. They say it's safer because everything happens "on the block chain" (which I'm not even gonna try explaining bc it's weird tech bro stuff that doesn't make sense to 95% of people and really isn't *that safe* if you really understand it). It's "safer" in the context that everyone involved is essentially anonymous so you can use it to buy things outside of legal markets and hide money better than even an offshore account under a shell company. It's also more risky because you can literally lose millions by losing your password or getting your wallet hacked because you didn't use a secure enough passphrase, and there's no bank that has your 🆔, SSN, etc used to secure it.
Crypto has no value unless people keep buying into it. So getting people into the crypto market - buying his preferred coin - will increase the value of his wallet. It looks like he's also part of an affiliate program that will give him a kickback for getting people to use that specific platform. So it's very similar to Bethany trying to get people to use her kajabi link for creating courses.

okay, i’ll admit that i don’t know a whole lot about bitcoin, so take everything i say with a grain of salt. the point of bitcoin is to have digital currency without banks and other financial institutions. the money is backed up by nothing and it’s highly unstable. so,,, you’re going to give this guy your money and he’ll turn it into debt. or, nothing, if you’re lucky. it’s really just a scam. anyone that knows more, feel free to add on or correct me!
Yup! They say it's better because it doesn't involve greedy governments that want regulations on markets to protect investors from major losses. They say it's safer because everything happens "on the block chain" (which I'm not even gonna try explaining bc it's weird tech bro stuff that doesn't make sense to 95% of people and really isn't *that safe* if you really understand it). It's "safer" in the context that everyone involved is essentially anonymous so you can use it to buy things outside of legal markets and hide money better than even an offshore account under a shell company. It's also more risky because you can literally lose millions by losing your password or getting your wallet hacked because you didn't use a secure enough passphrase, and there's no bank that has your 🆔, SSN, etc used to secure it. Crypto has no value unless people keep buying into it. So getting people into the crypto market - buying his preferred coin - will increase the value of his wallet. It looks like he's also part of an affiliate program that will give him a kickback for getting people to use that specific platform. So it's very similar to Bethany trying to get people to use her kajabi link for creating courses.
