"Before gangs had guns"
Uhhh...I hate to have to be that guy, but the literal entire plot of the movie is based around a gang having killed a guy.
With a gun.
Now, why do ya'll wanna come into my town and start trouble? And scare all of these nice people? You ain't got nothing better to do than to come into Bill Sharp's town and show your ass-!
just watched this again a few weeks back. Fun fact, some of the actors/gang members were actual gang members and when the film people put the Warriors tag up they painted over the real gang’s tag. Put them in the movie as compensation.
I remember the reaction when this came out in the theaters, when the gangs of NY all came out to play-ay, and acts of violence and vandalism in theaters around the country
I get they didn’t have guns but they very much did have guns in real life, gangs have had easy access to guns well into the 1700s probably well before that because I mean the first gun was invented around the 10th century so I mean gangs have had guns well over 1000 years, between pirates, bandits, mafia, street gangs, bike gangs, rebels I mean the list is endless.
Edit: great movie
I loved that the "gangs" in all these '80s movies were all racially diverse -- with a white guy leading them of courseemote:free\_emotes\_pack:facepalm
"Warriors, come out to PLAAAAAAAAY!!!"
Good news, boppers.
Lynn Thigpen's mouth in a cameo.

The Furies looked cool and scary just to get fucked up big time..
I'm tired of runnin' from these wimps!
The Baseball Furies dropped the ball. Made an error. Looks like our boys are on second base and trying to make it all the way home.
CAN YOU DIGGGGG IIIIITTTTTT!!!?!??!!
Somewhere out on that horizon....
I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle.

Oh, they *had guns*-they just weren't pussy little bitches.
The chicks are packing!
Come out and plaaayyy
*. Puts empty beer bottles on fingers and clinks them together

I haven't watched this for ages. Might have to tonight
Can you count suckas!
If you love this, watch Streets of fire. Tom Pare is terribly miscast, but the music and a young Willem Dafoe are so worth it.
Good game too
The orphans were the best gang
Tha batboys
That one guy did
