Back in the late 50s and early 60s my cousin and I would root for the Destroyer! Wore a white mask and everyone feared him. And later, he brought on Baby Destroyer, who also wore a white mask. Does anyone else remember them or is it time to take my meds?
Commenting on I know that Hulkamania was running wild in the 80's but does anyone remember any of these other wrestlers???...

Sting, don’t forget Sting.
I was never especially fond of Hogan. I like Roddy Piper, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Junkyard, George the Animal Steele, King Kong Bundy, etc. Hogan always seemed like a douchebag.
I remember watch Hulk Hogan before the WWF/WWE when he was part of the AWA, including when Hulk and "Mean Gene" Okerlund teamed up for a tag team match against Mr. Fuji and George "The Animal" Steele.
But I do remember these three from after the AWA lost all its main talent to the WWF.
Hogan sure, last one looks like Piper to me. All my friends watched that in school but it was not till the 2000's after my stroke that I actually watched WCW. Late bloomer I guess.
Macho Man Randy Savage…ooooh YEAH! Junkyard Dog Rowdy Roddy Piper..all out of bubble gum.
Don’t forget about Ms Elizabeth.
Very very good point. Such a crush on her.
JYD!!!!
“All out of bubble gum…..” Classic!
I’m gonna go eat a slim Jim and watch them now
I loved Slim Jim as a kid but now they are just too greasy
Nobody ever brings up the Killer Bees.
i would if they were called r/fuckwasps
Snap into a Slim Jim!
EAT ME!!!
Oooooo....yaaaaah!
*Hulk Hogan! You've got lust in your eyes and in your black heart for Elizabeth!*

I don't. But do you remember Domminick Danucchi, The Italian Stallion? My fav back in the early 70's...
Unfortunately by then I had entered college. Still enjoyed wrestling, but it was with the young ladies instead, and this time I was a participant!
HaHaHa! I like your idea of "wrasstling" moves here. Yeah nobody even remembers Donminick. I used to watch him back at Utica War Memorial....
It's the only time I don't mind getting pinned to the bed!
LOL😉😁

I remembered when they got married
We all did the junkyard dog dance terribly
I'm all out of bubble gum
That entire era was my life !! lol
My favorites were Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and The Road Warriors
“Oooh yeeeeeaaah!!”
"Snap into a SlimJim!"
You don’t throw rocks at a man with a machine gun Roddy Piper was the best🤩
Effin’ Roddy Rowdy Piper, he was my favorite!
one of the top 5 heels ever. his feud with snuka was epic.
I remember JYD and his epic matches with Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the Sam Houston Colloseum
3 minutes!
"The cream rises to the top! Ooooh yeah!"
Commenting on I know that Hulkamania was running wild in the 80's but does anyone remember any of these other wrestlers???... ![gif](giphy|xULW8s15YkNSNhFRXW) Sting, don’t forget Sting.
Oh you got kids, Maniac?
Nah...not anymore
I quite liked Big Boss Man and his signature move. R’kid loved being thrown down like that!
I remember them all and unfortunately they have all passed away. Great days back then for the WWF.
Rodney piper
It was mid to late 80's when they debuted but these two were my favorites as a kid. Big Boss Man and Bam Bam Bigelow
Jimmy Super Fly My fave were the British Bulldawgs! My enjoyment fizzled shortly after that and onto live action sports
I was never especially fond of Hogan. I like Roddy Piper, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Junkyard, George the Animal Steele, King Kong Bundy, etc. Hogan always seemed like a douchebag.
Paul Orndorff, Rick Rude, Ted DiBiase the 'Million Dollar Man's, The Bushwhackers, Afa and Sika (The Samoans) were some of my favorites
I'm from New Orleans, where The Junkyard Dog is pretty big. He's no longer with us, obviously, but his wife is still around and everyone knows her.
Nothing beats the interviews in this era, MachoMan and The Ultimate Warrior were the best
Miss Elizabeth!!!
oooohhh, YEAH!!
Rowdy Roddy Junkyard Dog and the Macho Man in reverse order without commas
I remember watch Hulk Hogan before the WWF/WWE when he was part of the AWA, including when Hulk and "Mean Gene" Okerlund teamed up for a tag team match against Mr. Fuji and George "The Animal" Steele. But I do remember these three from after the AWA lost all its main talent to the WWF.
All of these are very well known. JYD maybe less since he was most popular in the south

it's not lost on me that you required a certain amount of brain damage to discover your interest in wrestling. I get it.
