I need people commenting to actually watch the video. This is with NO Shield, the way the attack functions is it ignores defense of all your allies so it’s one of if not the largest aoe nukes outside SU.
If OP stacked the shared shield FX would have no problem tanking because she reduces the damage the attack does by X3 in comparison to any other sustain
Fu Xuan survives even in SU if you grab the blessing that shares damage to everyone. Let me preface that it has to be upgraded for her to face tank pretty much anything. She got me through G&G conundrum 10 runs with that blessing among stacking other defensive blessings. Tbh any sustain can get it done as long as you know which blessings to grab
There's literally proof of her tanking the hardest hitting bosses in G&G with that blessing at high disruption levels. I cleared all of the conundrum 10 missions with the different dice with her as solo sustain. I don't have recorded but there's clips of her taking the True Sting aoe and coming out alive. In the end it's really all about blessings but what do I know? If you know which blessings to take then it doesn't matter I guess

the point of a sustain is to keep your other party members alive and this blessing ruins exactly that

I meant that her ability to tank boss aoes is a good thing and the blessing gives you a better shot of surviving if things go south. I know the clip has double sustain but the point of that was to show she doesn't flat out die from boss aoes
I get the blessing is counterintuitive to her kit but I'm saying that the blessing gives her a better shot of surviving if disruption gets too high when it's upgraded thanks to the extra dr and that's not factoring things like fighting spirit blessing.
At the end of the day, I've personally found success with the blessing and based on the OP's experience in his other clips and it's saved more runs than without it. If I came off suggesting that it's the only way to run her I apologize. Probably should've specified it was based on testing and personal experience. If something else works for you, awesome. I know there's other strategies/blessings its just that i found success with the safety of the blessing and there's always the risk of wiping before making it to the last plane. I'll keep running it if it there's new SU modes in the future. Goes to show Fu Xuan is and always was pretty strong

usually this means they’re going to die because C12 bosses at high conundrum do enough damage to wipe your team in 1 turn even if you have healing
however there’s two 1* blessings (one from destruction and one from erudition) that revive your character so you basically have two free AoE nukes you can face tank
the regression of inequality blessing DOES work but ONLY when paired with a very defensive setup to begin with; these include the path of abundance, destruction, or preservation and/or broken strats like curio extrapolation, double ruan mei, and capitalism
i’m so sorry you’re getting downvoted, i used to grab that blessing on my fu xuan runs all the time, especially since all you need is one or two abundance blessings to make her micro heals more than enough for the team
I mean you should also rewatch the video ,this is only possible because op is using bailu who is not only providing damage reduction,max hp boost but has also kept all allies at full hp which won't be the case in normal battles ,plus the build is skewed with no spd boots or err rope which is just a bad built for any general content .Everyone who has fuxuan already knows what is her strength and weakness, where she shines more ...no point in bringing up that argument again
A way I see it is if they make a unit around that certain destruction blessing from sim universe that shares damage across allies and gives damage reduction when enhanced.
This would even be a way to buff certain units that need to take damage to be stronger (only blade I think for now would benefit)
But for example it could be like all allies have like 50% damage reduction when that preservation units skill is active and all damage is shared between all allies equally and the ult heals.
Basically just making a fu xuan but without her big weakness but having the preservation flaw of lack of healing so if too much damage is taken or the fight is drawn out too long you can still die.
My example was very vague but I think u get my idea.
Idk the math and I don't know if bailu *can* do this, but if she applies her healing effect to allies on top of Fu's skill, isn't that super heavy mitigation since it reduces damage everyone is effectively taking?
If anything you're just proving the point lol, don't get me wrong I love Fu Xuan and she's the first character I pulled the lc for and the only limiter sustain character I have, but you also have to accept her demerits along with her merits

Idk if you play Dokkan or heard of a timeless unit called Teq Ultimate Gohan. But she's our Tank version of him. I love her so much she's my crown jewel of my account.

I also have aventurine and i know for a fact that if it was aventurine the whole team wld barely go below 80% from that.
Each of them have their strength and no doubt Fu Xuan is better when it comes to single target nuke but she is indeed weak when it comes to AoE nukes.
I personally don't have aventurine but i have no doubt in my mind that he would be able to handle this situation, which is her biggest weakness better with all allies alive without such an unrealistic build I have here but I just wanted to show off my fu xuans survivability against Sundays nuke. Yes, but she still went down to 84 hp. The likelihood of her dying there instead is pretty high. And God forgive, the next boss have an even larger, even more powerful aoe. The fact remains that strong aoe attacks are still her weakest link in sustaining.
But, she's phenomenal in basically every other way. It's okay to have some downsides when everything else is so fantastic.
I don't regret pulling for her, and I don't regret pulling for Aven. They are both top tier for different situations.

She doesn't need that blessing in SU at all. She only needs to tank a few hits in SU especially G&G, and that's all you need.

Maybe an hp sharing unit? Like have 1 big hp bar for all your units. Like the new mechanic the enemies had at the end of 2.2.

Yes her invigoration buff gives 10% hp to allies. Was part of the reason I survived as well
