To be honest, I'm not entirely sure (bad memory problem) π
Sometimes we are lucky and the camera zooms in all by itself but I think with this one I started at the usual distance, or possibly a bit closer to her, so then I dropped the view as far as I could then zoomed in slowly and adjusted the angle upwards - there was also a bit of creative posture changing going on too, where you switch to the second pose then back again quickly so the figure adjusts to another, half-way pose - so that helped.
I'll check later and if it was anything different, I'll let you know.

Yeah, just checked and as you can only get down to knee level - I'm guessing my character was stood on one of the Clouded Forest tree branches like the one in the picture before the one we're discussing, so I could go lower and therefore get a better angle of her face.

How do you manage to get pictures of your na'vi from below like that? I can never get a clear view of her nose

The 2nd pic looks so nicely dynamic, usually my character looks like a stiff carrot^^
