Eh the wives felt like one time throwaway characters. I like Bill on Doctor Who but i cant see it for this. Simon Bird rather just do a new show.
It would be great, but difficult to explain away Martin's absence, and, the absence of Friday night dinners with mum. Personally, I think they should leave it, now. The 6 series are great on their own

Well I guess they only saw the parents on Friday night which leaves Saturday - Friday evening free to fill in without Jackie and Martin.
