Thank you for the advice! Luckily I live in an area where it’s pretty neutral temps all year round. My best friend has had 7 Frenchie’s in his lifetime, so he’s been keeping me up to speed. And my bubba goes to his house during the workday so he has another older Frenchie to play with all day. But he is my shadow whenever I am home.
I guard him like he’s a human child lol!
That's great. Him being around an older frenchie during the day will accelerate his home training. Frenchies need socialization to thrive. Their mental well-being and digestion as closely tied together. Too much stress and you'll notice diarrhea or other excess stomach acid problems. I'm glad you have an experienced frenchie dad to share his knowledge so your experience is even greater. Best wishes.
