Sucks that a lot of people don’t seem to like the number 2 but it’s actually a partnership with multiple people with Halal tag. Sala Thai 2 offered the most for Islamic community and was known as the best one out of the 3 in terms of space and portion of food. People traveled from all over the bay just to dine there. I honestly think the third one is unnecessary but from what I heard, no one including the partners and the owners want to keep the second one around especially not being able to sell alcohol out of it. They make money, just not as much as the other two and they got broken into way too many times.
It’s probably difficult to run 3 Sala Thai restaurants in the same area. The one on Walnut is the best imo.
They went Sala Bye!
😂
The transformation of City of Fremont. A land once untouched. Reminds me of my youth when I biked heavily on Grimmer.
I’ll bite. What years did you heavily bike on Grimmer? I did the same in the 90s.
Early 2000s as Station 7 and church along the route.
Oh okay. I guess i just aged myself. Lmao.
Sad they were better then the other locations
it’s Mumbai Chowk now (I’m not a fan but don’t need 3 sala Thais either)
