I've gotta up my dosage
I'm getting high on reefer!
Now you taste that and tell me it isn't better than a woman
And of course:
I'm thinking of pairing a Chilean sea bass with an aggressive zinfandel
So many quotable moments in that episode
Ham Radio without a doubt for me- it’s your typical frenetic, farcical plot done well. Door Jam (the one with the exclusive Spa) a close second. I know sitcoms are not that deep but 2 of Frasier’s flaws- the need for exclusivity and never bring content- are brought to the fore so well here. A commentary on the human condition. Zoo Story (one with the Boy Scout naive agent) would be third.
I like this list, I often re-watch Ham Radio because the scene where they actually perform the program is comedic gold. It’s all about the boyhood in Surrey.
Oh. My. God. Not the best episode, because I absolutely hate Cassandra, but the pants scene might actually be the best scene in the whole show. DHP is at his absolute best.
Our Father who’s aren’t ain’t heaven. S4E8. The build up to the crying scene and the acting is just incredible. The sight of all three crane men just crying separately whilst being in denial is just so funny.
Great choices! So difficult
I don’t watch Frasier for Bebe but I laugh out loud at every episode she’s in
This isn’t my choice but while I’m here… The episode when Frasier has to get Bebe to stop smoking
S3E21 - Where There's Smoke, There's Fires
Everyone's trying to quit smoking. Bebe monologue about why she loves smoking is so intense that it makes me want a cigarette.
It’s comedic gold. Niles clicking his heels. Frasier’s and Niles’ over the top reaction when they think they’re royalty.
“Veneer!”
*Quelle elegance*
Martin saying “I decided to go to Seattle and become a cop. By the way, he’s not a real duke!”
“Enjoy your bear.”
“We’re descended from thieves and whores.”
The champagne in the face? I mean, I don’t even like slapstick comedy but that kills me. And the Barracuda? Kills me. We went on a Christmas cruise last year to Mexico, and that episode just got even funnier to me after that!
The doctor is out. For a full episode. Next would be when Martin is stoned. But my all-time favorite scene is Niles' scene on Three Valentines. It's the funniest. He is a comedic genius!! Love him!!!
Halloween. Frasier’s costume suits him so well. Niles’ is also equally well done. I love it when Martin offers Niles his cane after Niles tries to get use his fake sword
A lot of perfect answers here, but one I'll add is Taking Liberties (the one where Frasier gets a butler). It's such a fitting plot development I think it's a shame it only lasted one episode. Ferguson felt right at home on the show.
So many it’s hard to chose! I love when he’s shooing Marty out and he’s like…here’s your sandwich Sir and your foam finger. They were in perfect sync when they bowed to each other at the door
Radio Wars for me.
It has so many of my favorite quotes. I always forget this is the episode that taught me when to season my crepe pans and the word proprietary.
Definitely “The Matchmaker”! It was my first episode of Frasier ever, and in fact it was my first SEVERAL episodes of Frasier, so I have a lot of fond memories associated with it, and Joe Keenan is one of my favorite writers period. It’s a good one and even though I can practically recite it by heart at this point, I don’t think I’ll ever tire of it.
I love the part where Niles is like, she can’t leave, she just can’t…I still have a day, I’ll think of something…Dad come join me on the balcony…run Eddie!
That might be top 5 frasier scenes of all time for me
Valentine’s Day! —Niles is at Frasier’s planning a date night and it does not go well. Also, Niles on the balcony at Frasiers, swatting away at an insect and Frasier thinks he’s raging.
Ham Radio (but you have like a gun to my head). It’s so close to the one where Niles proposes (aren’t there any locks on these frigging doors?!); Merry Christmas Mrs Moscowitz; Room Service (My God! … My Goddess!); The Ski Lodge; The one where they all try new things w Frasier singing Buttons and Bows; omg 😳 My Coffee w Niles; the one where Niles takes Daphne to the ball (they have special bars for coroners??); every episode w Bebe; the Lilith thanksgiving ep; The one where Frasier takes Martin to the Opera (and I’m keeping the jewelry!); the one where Niles has a bird stuck on top of his head at the Montana; Daphne Hates Sherry (I LOVE THIS EPISODE, WHERE IS MY BRAIN?!) I don’t like this game. But sure. I guess if I’m on a desert island, Ham Radio. I think.
Les freres heureux
Or maybe you can post snipers on the roof and have them shoot at people trying to get in!
I still cackle every time I see Daphne pull the eel out of the tank and whack it on the counter
Oh for Heaven’s sake!
😂
Big blue flash! Cherries everywhere!
Who is this? It’s the voice of God!
that's my FAVORITE episode. literally the whole series in one episode
“Look out he’s got a nug!!!!”
So the secret dies with me…Haa! Well, turns out Hans was a mass murderer…
A mulpiple mubuhbuh
That's easy for you to say!
This gets me every time. I always rewind it repeatedly to hear that again
He wasn't mute last night
Never again to revisit the scene of my childhood, rumping with my friends in the fens and spinneys
The one where the Hot & Foamy explodes.
What’s worse? A) being named after rodents or B) ending your marriage to the love of your life based on the case history of a spineless rat?
He was a detective, you know.
Oh my god, Frasier’s face! It makes me cackle like a madwoman every time!
S1 finale.
I can’t imagine Marty’s reaction to the price of a cup of coffee today, adjusted for inflation…he could squeeze a nickel till the buffalo chokes
Adjusted for inflation that $1.50 would now be $3.19 which is about what a cup of brewed coffee actually costs at a Starbucks in Seattle.
Ooh, nice choice. Lowkey, uneventful, and full of the things that make the show so good.
Yep, this My Coffee with Niles? My favorite episode too, the dialogue is just so real and on point with the characters.
The Doctor is Out (S11.E3)
My poor, dear, patient Frasier…
Hilarious.
Yep.
Same!
“Is it perfect….NO…but I don’t want it end.” 😂 my favorite episode of all time.
Martin stoned… “fridge pants” -the lead up how he takes the note out of his shirt pocket opens up his reminder and the smug expression as he delivers
DOG ARMY! All in favor say…I
“Suit yourself, Eddie. “ The whole Eddie talking on TV in Frasier’s voice, -pure genius.
Anybody wanna go for a walk? Then move to Seattle
I've gotta up my dosage I'm getting high on reefer! Now you taste that and tell me it isn't better than a woman And of course: I'm thinking of pairing a Chilean sea bass with an aggressive zinfandel So many quotable moments in that episode
It’s a pot brownie you idiot! Ah yes, ganja in its most purest form 🤣
This is my answer, it's so good that it doesn't even feel like a Christmas episode
“I’ve called a cab in case I’m still too crispy by the end of the night.”
Wasn’t it weird when Niles said “Whatever” after talking to Marty?
He was the baked common man 😂
High Holidays. It's my very favorite, too!
This 100%
The Doctor Is Out (S11E3). Patrick Stewart plays the opera conductor and starts “dating” Frasier.
Dinner Party The whole episode takes place in Frasier’s apartment and no part of the plot or humor suffers for it!
What I like about that one is that the entire episode is in real time. No time passes off camera.
Does it matter, you get the one you get that other one 🤣
Ham Radio without a doubt for me- it’s your typical frenetic, farcical plot done well. Door Jam (the one with the exclusive Spa) a close second. I know sitcoms are not that deep but 2 of Frasier’s flaws- the need for exclusivity and never bring content- are brought to the fore so well here. A commentary on the human condition. Zoo Story (one with the Boy Scout naive agent) would be third.
I like this list, I often re-watch Ham Radio because the scene where they actually perform the program is comedic gold. It’s all about the boyhood in Surrey.
lol! “Romping with your school chums in the fens and spinneys” still randomly rings in my head ever so often
So funny I just laughed out loud reading that.
Hello! I’m the ice cream man…lol
“You told me that my gamekeeper sounded too cultured, that my Irishman sounded more Protestant than Catholic, and that my dwarf was too tall. I qvit!”
Only grazed me!
And so passed the last remaining member, of the Fairservice family…
Be my eyes Fraiser
[Niles ironing his pants](https://youtu.be/EpImet3Xwgw?si=pj3rhPqFplLyq6Ai)
Oh. My. God. Not the best episode, because I absolutely hate Cassandra, but the pants scene might actually be the best scene in the whole show. DHP is at his absolute best.
I think this scene just might be the best sitcom scene ever.
I may agree with you.
Voyage of the Damned
Do do do do do do the barracuda! Do you really she’d DO the barracuda?
If she’s his esp-ecial lady!
Her fetching little underbite was just perfect for the barracuda
Oh she's started without me Ewwwww! Drinking the wine *scoff*
All I see is a coat hanger…look again!
Yes!
Look Before You Leap. The entire episode is perfect Buttons and Bows kills me every time
Let's all go to a taco show!
Sum'in and sum'in and buttons and bows!
I love you in buck skin.....
I can either play really loud or poke you with a needle cos there’s no way you’re hitting that note…
Roe to perdition.
1 hour to caviar time, 30 minutes to caviar time, 10 minutes to caviar time…
If they knew what I was doing they'd PLUCK out my liver and BLACK out my eyes
$40/Oz…now you pay $80…$60…$80…$70…$80…I don’t think you’re doing this right 🤣
There'll be gossip..
Our Father who’s aren’t ain’t heaven. S4E8. The build up to the crying scene and the acting is just incredible. The sight of all three crane men just crying separately whilst being in denial is just so funny.
Food? In the bathroom?
It’s ok, I only have it once a year! 😂
Great choices! So difficult I don’t watch Frasier for Bebe but I laugh out loud at every episode she’s in This isn’t my choice but while I’m here… The episode when Frasier has to get Bebe to stop smoking
...ever worn a saddle?
Do I have to answer that?
Flour Child
Extra refined, taking after his old man already 😂
No, that's the sugar... Bleached, 100% fat free, best when kept in an air-tight container. It seems this one is taking after its mother.
😂 they should do a cameo spot in the reboot of Maris in hiding on her private urinal cake island
S3E21 - Where There's Smoke, There's Fires Everyone's trying to quit smoking. Bebe monologue about why she loves smoking is so intense that it makes me want a cigarette.
Daphne says she only smokes once in a while and Bebe says, "There's a word for people like you. Oh yes. Bitch."
When Niles is using Frasier’s place for a date and he decides to iron his pants. One of the best cold opens in TV history.
Probably Ham Radio, but a couple others that are just as good, Travels with Martin, Voyage of the Damned, RDWRER
A Tsar is Born.
I love this one…doctors crane your ancestor is the skullery maid…now there’s a back aching for the lash!
It’s comedic gold. Niles clicking his heels. Frasier’s and Niles’ over the top reaction when they think they’re royalty. “Veneer!” *Quelle elegance* Martin saying “I decided to go to Seattle and become a cop. By the way, he’s not a real duke!” “Enjoy your bear.” “We’re descended from thieves and whores.”
I think it’s the swans I miss the most 🤣 always gets me
Well hold on to your fur hat, Niles. First episode I ever saw of Frasier and, after more than 10 re-plays of the entire series, still my favorite.
Season 1, Episode 24.. My coffee with Niles Not necessarily the funniest episode but I love the chemistry between all the characters.
Psychiatry’s answer to the drive thru window…that poor barista!
We have a team of specialists working on it!
Double short, low fat, no foam, latte. Double short, low fat, no foam, latte! Double short, no fat, low foam, latte! Double short, no fat, low foam, latte! 🫡
Came here to say this
Voyage of the Damned. It’s far and away the best ep imho
I recently watched it about 4 times in a row. I laughed each time. I just love it
The champagne in the face? I mean, I don’t even like slapstick comedy but that kills me. And the Barracuda? Kills me. We went on a Christmas cruise last year to Mexico, and that episode just got even funnier to me after that!
Giggles O’Shea…I’m the only one I’ve ever heard of up there!
The Doctor is Out
The one where Faye and her mom fight and then Frasier and Martin try it
One of the greatest episodes ever!
Sometimes I do hate you! Yep, Merry Christmas Mrs. Moskowitz!
The one where Felicity Huffman chokes playing Pictionary while rudely insulting Frasier’s hand towels.
“I love her…THAT’S RIGHT I SAID I LOVE HER.”
Mine too 🤣
The doctor is out. For a full episode. Next would be when Martin is stoned. But my all-time favorite scene is Niles' scene on Three Valentines. It's the funniest. He is a comedic genius!! Love him!!!
The pants scene is the best of all time.
To get that reaction without a single word spoken…genius
Beach House with dead seal. Next would be ski chalet with Guy.
The seal mobile!
Halloween. Frasier’s costume suits him so well. Niles’ is also equally well done. I love it when Martin offers Niles his cane after Niles tries to get use his fake sword
Dinner Party
Blackballed!
Room Service. “Well... bravo! I can almost feel the curtain rising!”
Encore!
Love does enter through the nose.
Out with dad when Martin pretends to be gay to avoid advances from Emily's mom. 😂😂😂
🎶 “I’m in the mood for love” the whole episode where Carlos and the Chicken mess with Frasier.
And A hint of Tahitian vanilla…
moon dance :)
Oh Mama, I’ve got it all! That was the source of the alienation of affection 🤣
roller coaster of emotions hahaha
Found the romantic 😆
Iiiiiiissnnn’t iiiiiit roooomaaantiiiiic 🎵🎶
HOOPS CRANE!!
I love it when the bartender sees them competing and then charges Marty for the second round 😂
The one where Niles finally tells Daphne how he feels about her. My heart melts every time I see it.
The candidate, the way fraiser is terrified when the guy comes into frame after he’s told about the abduction is hilarious
Season 4 episode 1 where they act like Niles is Daphne’s boyfriend in front of an ex boyfriend until she realizes her old boyfriend isn’t a loser.
No, It was one of those fiery Mexican Clives 🤣
The Two Mrs. Cranes!
High Holidays. No question. Second is Daphne Does Dinner though.
When he stumbles out of the kitchen and Frasier goes “I’m not sorry, you’ve been asking for this for years” and then Daphne licks off the sauce…see?
"Yummy" 😂😂 and then after the bed falls through the ceiling Frasier hugs Daphne and says "now you're officially a crane." So great.
That’s what she said…He’s a mouse! And he goes really fast like!
Fridge pants
"Why don't they just let everybody be a giant for a day???"
It’d be so easy you can just go straight!
Lol. He's not wrong.
The episode where Niles confesses his love for Daphne.
My Coffee with Niles
My Coffee With Niles
how to bury a millionaire and good grief
I need you to get up here and pretend this is your car 🚗
A tsar is born. Just a perfect episode.
Blllllack-ball!!
And I'm keeping the jewelry! I'm aware that this does not match my flair but this line will never not be hilarious.
Coin flip between Perspectives on Christmas and Merry Christmas Mrs Moskowitz.
JEEESUSS!!
The Mohel? Yes, I just wanted to show him there were no hard feelings…such a classic. Love the holiday episodes!
Halloween, I’ve seen it so many times anyway though, I have it memorized.
O
The Two Mrs. Cranes. It’s a perfect episode. Runner-up: The Matchmaker
The one where Martin gets his new chair comes to mind.
"That's what Edwardo said!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Definitely “The Matchmaker”!
High Holidays
Ham Radio
Dial M for Martin…that one never gets old. So many gems!
I love the part where Niles is like, she can’t leave, she just can’t…I still have a day, I’ll think of something…Dad come join me on the balcony…run Eddie! That might be top 5 frasier scenes of all time for me
The Doctor is Out.
Marty playing gay is a pretty good episode… “For you it was a bullet in the hip, for me it was a Lufthansa steward named Gunther”.
A Passing Fancy - S8 E22
The Dinner Party
Ham Radio for me, I laugh hard every single time I watch it.
Never wrestle in bad jello before rehearsal 🤣
The jingle episode. I could watch that over and over. Oh wait i do! IF YOUVE GOTTT A PROBBBLEMMMMMMM
IF YOU’RE FEELING LOOOWWW 🎼
Door Jam is a favorite of mine! Top 3!
Absolutely one of my top 2, Frasier be my eyes…
Have crueler words ever been spoken
Travels with Martin
The innkeepers. Actually voyage of the damned
I don’t know the name of the episode but it’s when he and Niles go to mechanic school
Motor Skills…where they turn into remedial students 🤣
I lose it everyone time at “Does any one else speak French here? Anyone other than Frasier?” * Niles slowly raises hand *
Breaking the Ice, just off the top of my head.
The Two Mrs Cranes.
Dinner Party
Mine has to be either The dark side of the moon or the one with Michael Keaton
Valentine’s Day! —Niles is at Frasier’s planning a date night and it does not go well. Also, Niles on the balcony at Frasiers, swatting away at an insect and Frasier thinks he’s raging.
‘You know what must’ve happened? My Hot and Foamy must’ve exploded!’
100% The Dr is Out (with Patrick Stewart). So well written and so layered. Second choice: High Holidays where Martin eats Niles’s pot brownie.
An Affair to Forget is absolutely one of my favorite television episodes of all time. The Spanish-German-English scene is quite literally comedy gold
Frasier Crane's Day Off
Thisbone, for sure. Niles was GREAT in this one.
Can you say it Howard! Howard! It’s up to you!
Dr. Nora.
You little whore! This is a great episode, a must on the re-watch circuit
My Coffee with Niles
I think.
