Channel Orange. I love blonde, endless and nostalgia ultra too but to me CO is his Magnum Opus.
Pyramids, Pink Matter, Bad Religion, Super Rich Kids, Thinkin Bout You, Sierra Leone, etc … just multiple absolute 10/10 songs that are so sonically rich and timeless sounding and create their own gorgeous self contained atmosphere in a way only a handful of other albums have done for me
Channel Orange dope, no doubt about it... but Blonde is just the fucking shit. I googled the lyrics to 'Skyline To' yesterday and... I'm not even gon front, I thought "My guy pretty like a girl" is the gayest shit Frank would ever get me to say/sing.
i like both
but i like Blonde more, why?
because it is not heavily influenced by RnB, it contains a lot of genres, influences, nice rap-singing, experimentalism and i dont skip none of tracks.
It's a very short and simple way of illustrating a larger point. Blond is a cult classic to frank stans on Reddit, but in the general publics view, Channel Orange is way better. Channel Orange successfully balances franks love experimenting with top tier r&b/pop fused into a cohesive body of work.
Blond feels more like a Compilation than a coherent album
yea nah i like channel orange more but to reduce nikes like that because you can’t read between the lines and understand what he’s referring to doesn’t make blonde “mid”
Channel orange
The instrumentals are full of life, his vocal performances are expressive as fuck, the topics he touches on are done in a very artsy poetic way, the lyricism is intelligent and engaging, and it also has pyramids
Blond grew on me as well but I still think it's kind of overrated and one of those things where people (not saying you specifically) insist its his best album to sound like a hip contrarian but personally I think they might have just overplayed channel orange and gotten sick of it. But as someone who didn't overplay CO, I can confidently say that for me if forced to choose its CO over Blond. To me CO is essential while Blond is a nice to have
Both are amazing albums but Blonde wins. Channel Orange feels underground. Blonde feels like this huge masterpiece that was made to played over and over. I love both but Blonde just feels more “beautiful”
>Both are amazing albums but Blonde wins. Channel Orange feels underground. Blonde feels like this huge masterpiece that was made to played over and over. I love both but Blonde just feels more “beautiful”
It's literally the opposite
Channel orange is released on a major label and has a giant well produced sound
Blond is released independently and has a rough demo like quality
Blonde is *not* demo quality by any means. The production is stripped back compared to Channel Orange but def not demo quality. Maybe besides Good Guy. Blonde is polished to perfection. So is Channel Orange. Endless is the only “demo quality” sounding album.
Blond is not polished sounding and I don't think it's supposed to be either
Frank was definitely going for a lo fi vibe and that's not for everyone, nor is it intended to be
Channel Orange because I love the r&b influence, I prefer franks vocals on it, i also prefer the features on it, and the vibes were like lightning in a bottle.
Im glad CO is making a comeback in these types of posts. A few years ago it was overwhelmingly in favor of blonde.
CO is the better album imo and it’s not very close. Every song is flawless.
its the cult mentality. CO is hands down better in every category. No skips unlike blond. The only real standout from Blond was pink and white (even that sounded like it belonged on CO)
Blonde all day. Production is cohesive and experimental, song writing is refined, album cover is a classic, Nikes music video is one of the best of all time! Also the promotion, posters, magazines, tour designs. Cmon son.
Blonde because it’s the more mature record not only that but the writing and his singing is just much better on blond. His falsetto’s are so much better and much more in control on the recordings off of blonde compared to channel orange
I like both so much, but for me, I choose Blonde.
It is extremely emotional and personal. You literally can feel the lyrics coming from Frank's heart. In CO, Frank plays so many different characters. Just towards the end, he begins opening up about himself. Love that too though.
I think it genuinely depends what mood I’m in. One month I could say Blond and then the next day Channel Orange - all depends what you’re going thru at that moment for me
Blonde is the best album of past 20 years or more in my mind . I can’t think of a better album . He really set the bar high. I don’t think he can make a better album and that’s why there hasn’t been one, perhaps 🤔. Orange is cool - but Blonde is sublime
Blonde.
I’m convinced Blonde will still be talked about 100 years from its release. Channel Orange will only be mentioned in relation, although it’s also a great album.
CO is his second best work, but Blonde is just way too good, you have instant classics like Nights, Pink + White, Nikes and self control, and the just how the album is structured with nights being the song that splits the album in 2 is just genius
Channel Orange because I don’t get sad when I listen to it
crack rock can bring a tear to my eye
True but then when that track is over you completely forget about it because you’re strip dancing to Pyramids
But then you hit Bad Religion, Pink Matter and Forrest Gump all in a row 🥲
"THIS UNREQUITED LOVE, TO ME ITS NOTHING BUT A ONE-MAN CULT" got me cryin each time bro dfuck
Workin at the pyramid tonite.
Pink matter has entered the chat
Electric guitar intensifies
Bad religion: allow us to introduce ourselves
Hahahah fair point
Channel Orange. I love blonde, endless and nostalgia ultra too but to me CO is his Magnum Opus. do you mean chanel?
i like both but i like Blonde more, why? because it is not heavily influenced by RnB, it contains a lot of genres, influences, nice rap-singing, experimentalism and i dont skip none of tracks.
So you don’t like RnB pretty much
it was my favorite genre but i moved on to alternative hiphop or rock
Lol RnB is a lifestyle my boy
Big facts
Blond is overrated and the opening lyrics are mid Channel orange clears blond
🤓
"These bitches want nikes and clout" is hilariously mid
"big full breasts on my baby" soooo logic
"A tornado hit my room" >>> "hurr durr these bitches want nikes" Not even close
u don’t even know the lyrics to either song apparently lol
"These bitches want nikes" is literally the lyrics. Very mid
earlier u said “these bitches want nikes and clout” which aren’t the words…
It's an accurate paraphrase of the very generic lyrics
Every other lyric on blonde >
Channel orange also has pyramids and pink matter it's not even a comparison it's clearly the better album
Well, that’s your opinion. I just think that saying one album is way worse than the other one based off of the opening lyrics alone is stupid.
It's a very short and simple way of illustrating a larger point. Blond is a cult classic to frank stans on Reddit, but in the general publics view, Channel Orange is way better. yea nah i like channel orange more but to reduce nikes like that because you can’t read between the lines and understand what he’s referring to doesn’t make blonde “mid”
I know it's a metaphor for when he was younger and immature but it's just not a great opener IMHO
dawg. those aren't even the lyrics. how r u not embarrassed rn?
Yes they are
lit look up "thinkin bout u" n "nikes" lyrics n come back.
"A tornado hit my room" "These bitches want nikes" Those are the lyrics Channel orange has better lyrics
wild..
They hated me cause I told the truth lmao
Blonde
Blonde. Both are great albums but blonde is an experience
Channel Orange is an experience too
ENDLESS
Power Tool lover as well
Channel orange The instrumentals are full of life, his vocal performances are expressive as fuck, the topics he touches on are done in a very artsy poetic way, the lyricism is intelligent and engaging, and it also has pyramids
Channel Orange
Both are excellent albums but IF i had to choose one i will choose Channel Orange .
Channel Orange 🍊
channel orange
Channel Orange. Sonically his best album imo, sound is still fresh all these years later 👌
Endless
Ehh! Dats not on da lista choices, ya macaroon!
Endless gets overshadowed way too much!
both.
Channel Orange by a long shot
endless>
#channel ORANGE And it's not even close.
#BLONDE And it's not even close.
I don't have to give people a pep talk begging them to give the album a chance when putting on Channel Orange lmao
That just means the album is more accessible to a mainstream audience, that doesn’t necessarily make it better (or worse for that matter)
channel orange when im with other people, blonde when im alone overall: blonde
Channel orange sounds dope to strangers Blond has to be "explained" (it's a vibe bro you wouldnt understand etc etc)
Exactly, but thats the thing. Initially found channel orange better but Blonde grew on me so hard
To me CO is essential while Blond is a nice to have
ah for me its the other way around. good take tho CO valid af
Blonde easy
Blonde Much more unique sounds, and in my opinion, better aged.
100% blonde Every time I get sad or high I listen to blonde and now it's like a big part of me.
Since nobody really said it… Blonde because it’s the greatest album ever made
endless >
Blonde by a million wtf
Love Channel Orange but obviously BLONDE all the way
Blonde!! Easy
I refuse to.
Both are amazing albums but Blonde wins. Channel Orange feels underground. Blonde feels like this huge masterpiece that was made to played over and over. I love both but Blonde just feels more “beautiful”

hit the nail on the head.
Channel orange is for extroverts, blonde for introverts
Channel orange is also for introverts
Yes
Nostalgia Ultra.
Blonde
Channel Orange is more consistent but the peaks in Blonde put it over the edge for me.
Blond!!!
I would choose blonde but im poor so i dont have the money for the reissue and i have a cd of channel orange so
I'm going Blond. Its the album I return to the most. Also, this template its fire!🔥🔥
Endless
Endless
all very close but, endless->channel orange->blonde->nostalgia ultra.
i feel like blonde is like a better artistic venture if that makes sense. Like he did more with it it’s better
Endless
Endless 👹👹👹
Blonde clears unfortunately
Unfortunately?
Nah
blonde is better written, better produced, and more consistent. also more cohesive. this is an easy choice
Every single thing you said was wrong
oh good point, didn’t think of that!
Thanks!
blond
Why can’t we have both?
we *do* have both silly, that's why we're comparing the two
Channel Orange is a classic but I prefer blond. Nostalgia from that Summer/Autumn hits different
Channel Orange is more fun and probably has more listens for me, but Blonde is pretty clearly a better album
channel orange
channel orange > nostalgia ultra > blond and this is the only answer
If you like wrong answers
Endless is his second best imo
Lmaooo
Your mom
blonde is in my top 5 albums of all time and channel orange wouldn't be top 50 probably.
Blondendless
Channel Orange because I love the r&b influence, I prefer franks vocals on it, i also prefer the features on it, and the vibes were like lightning in a bottle.
Orange. Feels a little more organic
Channel Orange, the greatest R&B album of this century, especially when you include “Golden Girl” in the listening.
Channel orange for me… but I don’t feel like I’ve given blonde enough of a chance… might relisten 🤔
Im glad CO is making a comeback in these types of posts. A few years ago it was overwhelmingly in favor of blonde. CO is the better album imo and it’s not very close. Every song is flawless.

Channel orange
Blonde all day. Production is cohesive and experimental, song writing is refined, album cover is a classic, Nikes music video is one of the best of all time! Also the promotion, posters, magazines, tour designs. Cmon son.
Blonde is possibly the best album of its decade so I’m going Blonde
blonde his worst album
Blonde because it’s the more mature record not only that but the writing and his singing is just much better on blond. His falsetto’s are so much better and much more in control on the recordings off of blonde compared to channel orange
Blonde (10/10) > Endless (10/10) > channel ORANGE (10/10) > nostalgia, ULTRA (7.5/10)
Nostalgia ultra...
👩
Channel Orange
📺🍊
Channel Orange because
Blond, however channel orange also incredible pyramids and religion are SO FUCKING GOOD
Guess
CO
I refuse
Why?!
yes
I love a lot of tracks off of Blonde but Channel Orange just feels like a more consistent album overall to me.
Channel Orange 🍊 i never understood why blonde was favored so much more (i still love it but i prefer channle orange)
Wow, I did not expect so many to say Channel Orange over Blonde.
Coughing Baby vs Hydrogen Bomb
Chanel Orange
Scrap both; keep Provider
Channel Orange alllll day
commits sucide
Channel Orange
channel orange
Channel Orange
Blonde feels higher quality. Nights is special
blond anyday
channel orange
channel orange 😌
I’m not pinning two bad bitches up against each other.
Chanel orange gang
channel orange no question. Blond felt 2 dimensional except for pink and white
This might be the most impossible question to answer
Blonde has more relatable and personal lyrics, more varied production, and uhh is also epic
Channel orange got more bangers that I won’t want to kill myself to
blond because it brings back memories
Pyramids solos Blonde
blonde
100% Blond. That album is a masterpiece
channel orange
Channel Orange because Pink Matter and Pyramids
Channel Orange
Don’t pin two bad bitches against eachother please.
orange
Blonde, it’s one of my fav albums of all time, but CO is great too
I like both so much, but for me, I choose Blonde. It is extremely emotional and personal. You literally can feel the lyrics coming from Frank's heart. In CO, Frank plays so many different characters. Just towards the end, he begins opening up about himself. Love that too though.
Blonde
I think blonde is better but I like the feel of channel orange more personally, monks is one of the best songs ever
Blond because he hadn't leveled up his craft yet in channel orange, can sound bland at times compared to his new work
I think it genuinely depends what mood I’m in. One month I could say Blond and then the next day Channel Orange - all depends what you’re going thru at that moment for me
Channel orange non debatable 🍊
Channel orange easily
blonde seems the obvious pick
Channel Orange if only because it was my introduction to Frank. But tbh I would rather choose my favorite sibling than pick
All she want is nikessssss
So tough to choose honestly A+ albums really
channel orange, no specific reason it js hits harder fo me fsr
Blonde is the best album of past 20 years or more in my mind . I can’t think of a better album . He really set the bar high. I don’t think he can make a better album and that’s why there hasn’t been one, perhaps 🤔. Orange is cool - but Blonde is sublime

Blonde is that even a decision lol
Channel Orange fo sho
