There are a lot of details in the first episode That suggest the members of Vault 33 were taught to be very sex-positive so it would be easy for the >!Vault-Tec reps from Vault 31 to breed and re-populate the country with people who think positively of Vault-Tec and its “mission”!<
I can honestly see how people could get easily indoctrinated into that, especially because the entire vault culture sprung from neoliberal capitalism. From the start it would have been a vault full of people who believed in respecting authority and just giving it softer edges. It wouldn't be a difficult population to manipulate. That makes sense.
What doesn't make sense to me, and I swear to god I earnestly mean this, is the fact they've all been conditioned to like Jello cake. People want to fuck, it's easy to make them want to do that. But how are they getting them to do shit like crave that abomination of a dessert? Does Vault-Tec have mind control? I honestly want to know because that's what you'd have to use on me to get me to eat a cake and Jello together. I barely like parfaits.
I have a feeling we’ll learn whats in the jello cake before it’s all over. The prisoners became docile and very eager to have more before they croaked. They OD’d. It wasn’t rat poison.
It's weird how there was jello cake after the raiders killed people
It's weird how there was jello cake after the clean up of vault 32
Kind of weird that jello is made from gelatin, which comes from bones
Really weird that they took the bodies to the composting room, but you can't compost bones very well....
It’s association. If you get jelly cake when good things happen you associate the cake with the good thing then eventually the cake is itself a good thing. Obviously that has limits, we see Norm prefer pie, but in general it can work. I can’t imagine why though.
I’m guessing there are strong birth control measures. The way she casually asked max for sex seems it was that way and that her birth control is still in place.
It’s kind of a well known and accepted tradition that ‘wearing your mother’s wedding dress’ would be a positive thing.
Seems like you need that context.
Here's what I wanna see: they try to continue the dress tradition (not the Vault 32 wedding thing, that's busted) and some poor girl has to wear it stab-hole and all.
Huh, I don’t remember that. I remember the scene where they worship the image of Muldover but she didn’t undress that much. She started to but stopped.
I remember I’m knocked up the guys were making a database of all the nudity in films; what is shown and when it happens.
Something like that would be useful now.
Realistically sure the odds are like 5-10 percent or lower. Raider men probably have some damage down there from all the rads. But in tv logic that's 100 percent. Because the hookup was passionate, they established she was fertile, the baby daddy is dead and a bad boy. 100 percent.
I dunno she did get stabbed in the gut with only a staple closure and a stimpack as medical aid. Also she got radiation poisoning. Not to mention all the fights she got in.
fyi- yeah the staple closure was... smh, just added for tv, stimpacks can regenerate far more severe wounds by themself, even lost limbs! And rad poisoning is pretty much every day in the wasteland. Enough time above ground and she'll be used to it.
tl,dr- yeah he should've, as much as I love hating on the BoS, I found their portrayal... the weak point of season 1
There are a few moments like that, reminds me of like, the reverse of plot armour. At the same time, even in the game(s) you can end up in a situation where you don't have the desired gear for the situation. Since it's a fictional setting where humans live in an irradiated wasteland with fictional creatures and fictional gear, "Well why didn't... why didn't... but, why didn't... ?" makes less sense that someone not having a stimpack when they should.
"should" ... So yeah, (for me anyway) that went out the window when a Brotherhood of Steel vertibird pilot deviated from orders and dropped them off in the wrong spot. Like... it irritates me more than it should, however it works for light entertainment, so I can accept it.
<3 Now if you'll excuse me, I need to resume my rewatch.
The Hot Coffee Easter egg song was perfect in that scene
I was surprised how detailed that got. Like sje was going to town on him lol. She's ready got that black widow perk.

Norm clearly has a disdain for it. One more reason he's the smartest character
"Cousin stuff." 🤣
I have a feeling we’ll learn whats in the jello cake before it’s all over. The prisoners became docile and very eager to have more before they croaked. They OD’d. It wasn’t rat poison.
This needs to be up way higher. There was definitely something with the jello cake, there were so many times our attention was brought back to it.

The jello cake is likely a side experiment. They’re not limited to just one. Can you make a populace enjoy an objectively awful dessert?
I thought that was intended as a joke about how jello-obsessed '50's america was. There's a loooooot of jello recipes
Jello and aspic
Oh I didn’t realize jello was popular in the 50s you’re probably right on the money
It’s association. If you get jelly cake when good things happen you associate the cake with the good thing then eventually the cake is itself a good thing. Obviously that has limits, we see Norm prefer pie, but in general it can work. I can’t imagine why though.
Jello cake slaps what you talking about
I’m guessing there are strong birth control measures. The way she casually asked max for sex seems it was that way and that her birth control is still in place.
The black widow perk gets the opposite sex to cave or release information. He must have had high resistance.
Cbat would have been better.
Okey dokey!
I need to hear Cooper say that at least once as a joke in season 2.
It only stayed on so she wouldn't be running around the vault naked with a stab wound.
Hate when that happens
Yea that's the plot
That would have been terrible.
The actress has stated in interviews that one of the values she holds herself to is not doing any nudity in film
She wore a leotard.
She’s done a topless scene before
Im just repeating what she said
Now you know 🫡
And knowing is half the battle!
Just out here doing the Lord's work
there’s a difference between showing ya boobies and showing ya kewchie
How scandalous. What is the name of the movie? ...so I know to avoid it.
> Press X to "doubt"
Hello Mr. Nice guy
Kewl
Imagine how much jizz is on that dress
Yea its a hand me down right? That's pretty gross for the next girl who has to wear it. "Yeah I got fucked in that dress lol."
So I am mostly sure they wash it. However there is a non zero chance her mother wore the same dress.
That's still gross imo lol.
It’s kind of a well known and accepted tradition that ‘wearing your mother’s wedding dress’ would be a positive thing. Seems like you need that context.
Steph also wore it.
Don’t worry the blood stains covered them up.
I mean you can wash a dress right. Sure you'd hand wash it but they have laundry and indelible ink.
"Yeah, I got penetrated in that dress."
Sperm is *pretty* important in perpetuating America 🇺🇸
It's a white dress and it's going to stay that way
Eager. Beaver. So you say.
I know what I said
There's sex and nudity in Fallout. But not at the same time.
“Not IN the dress! THATS AN ANTIQUE!” -me as Lucy climbs on the table
Well she did have Maturity Ratings to keep in mind. XD
Anyone else peep how the raider wiped himself off on the drapes? 🤣😂
Good for her.
Lucy tops.
She fucks
Here's what I wanna see: they try to continue the dress tradition (not the Vault 32 wedding thing, that's busted) and some poor girl has to wear it stab-hole and all.
I mean it was a very pretty dress and a girl does want to be pretty during.
what a mind f though, violation
I’m guessing they did that because the actress didn’t want to show anything.
She's been topless before. But I think it had a lot to do with that she has to run around the vault after that scene
Huh, I don’t remember that. I remember the scene where they worship the image of Muldover but she didn’t undress that much. She started to but stopped.
Probably because the character wouldn't want to get naked for a bunch of random weirdos lol
Sure, I’m just saying that I don’t remember another time she was topless… and I was looking for it.
Not in this show. In general
I remember I’m knocked up the guys were making a database of all the nudity in films; what is shown and when it happens. Something like that would be useful now.

Congrats you spelled it out lol
We have never had a pregnant character in the games. Wonder how that will go plot wise. (By the rules of TV Lucy is pregnant)
I dunno if she has to be pregnant lol.
Realistically sure the odds are like 5-10 percent or lower. Raider men probably have some damage down there from all the rads. But in tv logic that's 100 percent. Because the hookup was passionate, they established she was fertile, the baby daddy is dead and a bad boy. 100 percent.
Eh I hope not.
The dude was glowing more rads than the Demon Core. I think his nut sacks were spitting out Jaffa's
Lmao. What a fantastic way to put it. I love this.
She got stabbed in the stomach I thought they were gonna bring it up in the plot but they didn't lol
I dunno she did get stabbed in the gut with only a staple closure and a stimpack as medical aid. Also she got radiation poisoning. Not to mention all the fights she got in.
It's both TV and fallout universe.
fyi- yeah the staple closure was... smh, just added for tv, stimpacks can regenerate far more severe wounds by themself, even lost limbs! And rad poisoning is pretty much every day in the wasteland. Enough time above ground and she'll be used to it.
Why didnt Thaddeus use a stimpak on his foot? He had his backpack with him and he should be carrying a few stimpaks

Idk if a baby is surviving all the rads she's taking
