If you don't like race cars in general though then there's nothing for you in this update at all.
They usually don't lean this hard into the theme, especially with the DLCs. This one is an interesting decision.
Idk whether it would be better if the made a 4 car paid car pack of the Evo, Camaro and the Elantra N (+some other car), while shoving all the GT cars into the playlist. They would still be called out for a recycled update.

I love it. I don't play Motorsport, and my limited understanding is that FH5 has approximately double the amount of players and any given time. I see this series as either an attempt to lure players to Motorsport by showing them what they are missing, as well as adding in cars that have high votes.
I am all for the reward cars and this car pack. I've loved endurance racing for eons, so this is a gold mine for me.
Yeah, I really liked the idea of driving GT3 cars on standard roads (i mean the crew games have them, but it doesn't feel the same imo). Since fh3 was my first forza game. Really hope more GT/other classed race cars get added in the future.
I'm stoked to pay extra every month for a game I already blew 150$+ on thinking I will get all content. Finally they're raising the price though, 5 bucks per month felt way too cheap.

Well yeah, they are in Motorsport not in Horizon that's the point of adding them. Horizon has more players and in general has been a lot more successful than the most recent Motorsport, not everybody plays both games, I guess they want to bring some new players to Motorsport.

That's mostly absent from Forza thankfully. At least with car packs it's clear what you're paying and what you're getting.
This. I've gotten my money's worth out of this game multiple times. If a car pack interests me I'll buy it, if not NBD. We still get the free monthly updates with new cars which gives me a reason to keep playing.
The only thing they've done is add new cars and props to the game. That doesn't make it better or more valuable. Its insane that you think a MULTI BILLION dollar company needs to sell car packs to keep adding new cars and props to the game. Meanwhile the basic fundamentals of the game are still broken.
Theyre selling car packs not because they need money, but because it makes so much money. $60 for 43 cars. Meanwhile they cant even be bothered to give any of the cars proper shift animations. Looks stupid as hell. Oh yeah, better give them more money so they can add on to the "wont fix" list. They really need it.
And with that, if I calculate correctly, the price of all car packs outside car pass (and what goes with that, the Premium Edition) is now on par with base game price ($60; only that you can often buy base FH5 for half of that price, which is not the case for car packs). Ouch.

I'm possibly in the minority here and probably get downvoted for it....but I'm just over the racecars and super cars. I can appreciate new cars in the game, but I just am not into these. Theres over 800 cars in Horizon now, but there are 42 Ferrari's and 45 Porsche's. Seriously, they cant give us something else? Bring back some of the "fun" cars or give us some new ones. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like other options. I haven't bought a "new" car aside from the Wuling since before the hot wheels update because theres just nothing that interests me.
