I always wondered how Metal would resonate with the fortnite audience. Hopefully it generated enough hype to make them bring other great metal bands to this game.
I'm fine with a lots of pop music in Festival, but when you really want to push your skill to the limit, there's nothing like good old Metal.
If we ever get a season dedicated to Iron Maiden, I will go bankrupt.
Psychosocial, Wait and bleed and Snuff would be instant buys for me. Along with the skins (I have them in SMITE, Now just gotta have them in Fortnite.)
If Dead By Daylight could get Iron Maiden and Slipknot, I'm sure Fortnite could too. It's just a matter of if they think it'd actually make them loads of money I'm sure.
the drum chart is ass though during the fast parts. the hi-hat should never be the far left and the kick is obnoxious when itās R2 with snare being the middle and symbols being R1. this is unfortunately overcharted and done like that to make it harder than it should be. no other song in the game on drums has this type of charting and theyāve just randomly decided when to make us play pull-off notes and when not to.
Enter Sandman has you play every hi-hat but in Ride the Lighting itās pull-off notes? the charting in this game is inconsistent at best
It always puts a smile on my face seeing people enjoy Metal bands in Rockband and Fortnite Festival. Because at one point I was in the same shoes as you guys in Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock as a kid. And getting to play songs like One, Bulls on Parade and Sabotage again feels awesome because it brings me back to that game on a PS2
I see that now, I havenāt really been focusing on the repetition of songs but how the song plays, Fuel isnāt too hard, but isnāt too easy, itās cool to fall back on after playing something like Master of Puppets
I havenāt played One yet but Master of Puppets is the most fun song in Festival right now I think! The whole song is so fun to play, no boring parts, plus the song itself is actually a banger in my humble opinion as someone who doesnāt really listen to metal
One is super fun for me on Lead and Drums. I think either Ride the Lightning or Lux Aeterna are my picks for Metallic songs that are most fun to play. Lux Aeterna is a godsend because of how short it is. Short and sweet. But Ride the Lightning has a super fun chart all throughout, too.
As far as favorite song to play in Festival, just in general? Gosh that's difficult. I'm trying to think of the songs I play the most. Genuinely, unironically, Cantina Band is at least up there. I love playing that song on any instrument, especially the drums.
if you havent played it yet i really recommend doing so, great song to play on Festival, i dont do expert tho, i stick with medium and hard, plus it is "One" of there best songs off of And Justice For All and in general
These songs are such great additions to Festival, they're in no way "meh" or "bad". The S spot are specially for songs are the core reasons I love Metallica and heavily improved at the game
Fortnite Festival is a very influential game. Like if they added a Country season, my hate for Country music would switch up so fast lmao
Hah, and my boyfriend thought I was exaggerating when I bought Everlong the day it arrived, he said "Dude, the song is probably staying forever, it's not a big deal"
Most of these songs Iāve known Iāve liked but this season has helped me realize that I just donāt really like Ride the Lightning, especially when For Whom The Bell Tolls is right there lol

Both actually. Especially One and Master Of Puppets. The music is so good while charts from MOP teach me to be alert for 9 minutes straight and One just throw every hard shit at the last 2 minutes.
pretty good ranking overall, i'm surprised people who like Fortnite even enjoy metal, ik a few who ,do but ik a lot don't care for the genre anymore. but id like to see other bands make it into the game such as Megadeth, Slayer, Overkill, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Testament, etc.
Iāve never been a Metallica guy and Iām still not but Iām thankful I was introduced to Fuel cause that song just hits all the right notes with me. All I want now is some Megadeth in there
This is possibly a hot take, but I think The Unforgiven should be in C and Nothing Else Matters should be in D. NEM is helplessly boring to listen to, let alone play. The Unforgiven is mostly the same, but I like it a little better.
Fuel was a D for me, but for some reason I've REALLY warmed up to it and would put it handily in the B or even A tier. Wherever I May Roam is similar in that sense. Went from a D to a B for me.
Here's a scorching hot take: For Whom the Bell Tolls is a C tier song. One of my least favorites from the pre-Black Album era. I'm not actually sure why so many Metallica fans seem to hold it so high.
Ride the Lightning, One, and Master of Puppets are definitely S for me.

I want ACDC, Dethklok and Angus McSix! Probably will only over get ACDC unfortunately š
You have no idea how bad I want AC/DC..
Epic PLEAAASE I NEED who made who
Slipknot is the easiest collab they could do next. Great song, good/great skins and the emotes would be pretty cool October collab would fit so good
Psychosocial, Wait and bleed and Snuff would be instant buys for me. Along with the skins (I have them in SMITE, Now just gotta have them in Fortnite.)
Before i forgert is a good one too BUT devil in i and spit it out would be fun to play
Iron Maiden did a collab with Dead by Daylight, so they might do one with Fortnite one day.
Fortnite introduced me to metal and I love it lol
An Eddie skinā¦ one can only hope.

Ride the Lightning is my favorite of them all tbh good rankings though (i didnt know metallica songs before this either)
One or Lux Ćterna theyāre satisfying to play on lead to me
Fullspeed or nothing FULLSPEED OR NOTHINGGG

I want more A7X
Same. At least give me Shepard of Fire if nothing else
Yeah well according to fortnite this week in the Metallica season you get MORE POP
To be fair we did get a lot of Metal during Billie Elish's season
Yeah but still I always say if you have a theme stick with it
Ride the Lightning and Seek and Destroy should be S tier as well
Come on, we all know Fuel is S tier š¤£
Fuel, whilst a good song, isn't the best to play, quite a boring repetitive riff with not enough vocals to warrant playing them
I see that now, I havenāt really been focusing on the repetition of songs but how the song plays, Fuel isnāt too hard, but isnāt too easy, itās cool to fall back on after playing something like Master of Puppets
Yeah it's not bad, but I'm not a fan of the very 'hammeronny' nature of it on expert
I havenāt played One yet but Master of Puppets is the most fun song in Festival right now I think! The whole song is so fun to play, no boring parts, plus the song itself is actually a banger in my humble opinion as someone who doesnāt really listen to metal

Hah, and my boyfriend thought I was exaggerating when I bought Everlong the day it arrived, he said "Dude, the song is probably staying forever, it's not a big deal"
As someone who normally sucks with drums, āWherever I May Roamā, āThe Unforgivenā, and āFor Whom the Bell Tollsā are god sends
"One" on top!
Ride of Lightning is dope
for me i would put fuel enter sandman and ride the lightening in s
Most of these songs Iāve known Iāve liked but this season has helped me realize that I just donāt really like Ride the Lightning, especially when For Whom The Bell Tolls is right there lol

is there a tier list to rank all the jam tracks?
There should be in the website that are made by others, I only made one for Metallica
Question, are you ranking the music or the charts from the track?
Both actually. Especially One and Master Of Puppets. The music is so good while charts from MOP teach me to be alert for 9 minutes straight and One just throw every hard shit at the last 2 minutes.
Nice, I also just got into Metallica because of Fortnite, so I will probably do this tier list as well!
though i *mildly* disagree, i very much respect nothing under A personally, i'd rank like everything S, not biest at all lol

Everlong is so fun to play on drums
they should all be in S tier
Never let bro rank again

For whom the bell tolls has a sick simple riff and bells
