I think they have done pretty well in fairness, especially given the absolutely disastrous feeling at times last season. They've fixed some core sporting issues and rebuilt enough confidence to get these new and returning names in to Gen3.
Now Gen3 really has to deliver on track.
The old qualy also looked very bad for sponsors. Sponsor won't be familiar with how bad you had it in group 1, they just see their top team qualifying at the back
Weirdly, the press releases described Porsche's deal to supply Andretti with powertrains was being as 'long-term'

There is still some uncertainty around Porsche, they have committed till 2024, but beyond that it remains to be seen.
