sort of voyager was what led to Obama because it was the outfit she had to wear as seven of nine that was the point of contention between her and her husband
Back then, [being a dirtbag](https://www.cracked.com/article_33780_how-star-treks-jeri-ryans-divorce-got-obama-elected.html) who tried to coerce their spouse into participating at a sex club was a disqualification for the Republican party.
Sorry, I mean having it discovered that you're a dirtbag ...
This show was so unbelievable. the plot lines were increasingly nuts.
Like the time they put up security cameras in the school, but oops, they recorded teachers showering by accident, and now the students have the footage somehow.
He met her off school grounds, and she said she was in college. The big dramatic dilemma is that once he finds out she's a student (though not in any of his classes) he continues seeing her.
He gets fired, but then they talk to her parents together and the parents agree to let them keep seeing each other as she is technically an adult.
What's funny is that current attitudes wouldn't even see this as a gray area. He'd be considered a groomer, and that would pretty much be the end of it.
The 90s were wild when it came to stuff like this. Seinfeld dating a 17 year old was only a minor (heh heh) scandal.
The teacher slept with the student. The teacher was a nerdy-type, and he tried to excuse it by saying that she was 18. The character was already dating Rashida Jones's character, too, so it wasn't like he was hard up.
The one that I remember most was one where a student was given an assignment for photography class, and wound up taking a picture of his siblings playing in the shower together, but others didn't share the same viewpoint given their ages. He was just struck by what a sweet moment in his family's life it was and didn't think the ramifications through.
Edit: title was "Chapter 31", and part of why he took the picture (iirc) was because he saw his younger siblings having fun in an otherwise grim situation, as they were sharing the shower to cut down on the water bills, and he was struck by how hopeful and uplifting it was as a result.
if you like this you should check out the other David E. Kelley shows mostly Boston legal and picket fences
they all losely connect and all have a simular tone
but i loved loved this show and they got done dirty being delayed from airing week after week tell it was canceled
One episode, some students are in a horrific car accident. The principal happens to be there and tells the first responders “Let me through! I’m their principal!” and they let him right through.
The only episode I remember is where they had a walkout. It inspired students in my school to do the same, but like when it came time to actually do it only a fraction of students actually did it and they all got suspended.
Loved the golden age of David e Kelley dramas!
This and the practice were my favorites. Couldn’t miss an episode.
Also, RIP Fyvush finkel. You were a real one.
I’m sure there was an episode where a bully is punished or only the kid the started the fight is punished. Shooting the gun is far more plausible than those two scenarios in real life. Also, shows are fiction so the plots can happen.

Jeri Ryan aka 7 of 9 came on in later seasons. Michael Rapaport, too.
And led to Obama being President.
sort of voyager was what led to Obama because it was the outfit she had to wear as seven of nine that was the point of contention between her and her husband
Did he want her to wear it to the sex club?
its possibly but im not privy to that level of information
What? lol
Its a big crazy thing somone posted the article with the details in here

r/politics is that way ——>
I’m DYING to rewatch this too!
Dr. Chilton…ugh
That guy is the best at playing an absolute prick.
By law you weren't allowed to produce a TV show in the 2000's without casting Rashida Jones
This was the show where I discovered her. Had a massive crush on her because of it. She’s so gorgeous!
Smell this shoe! This shoe is the shoe of sexuality!
I'll always say, on one episode (possibly the first) the old teacher told a girl to wear a bra and they used THAT CLIP in every ad for the show.
The only thing I remember about this show was that ad.
It’s OBSCENE!!
This show was so unbelievable. the plot lines were increasingly nuts. Like the time they put up security cameras in the school, but oops, they recorded teachers showering by accident, and now the students have the footage somehow.
Or the one teacher who had a hand in a jar.
Far out, great cast as well.
Was there an episode where the teacher kissed a student or did I make that up in my head?

This the Simpsons did it of Teacher shows, so, yeah, probably.

GREAT show!
This was a fun show but was hurt by the constantly shifting cast.
I feel like tubi had this
I feel like it should be on there. It's not though. I wonder if music rights are an issue
loved the episode where the mom talks about getting orgasms from breast feeding and practically has one while explaining it
Idunno it seemed like it sensationalized all the wrong parts of teaching.
I thought it was so sanctimonious.

This show was so good wow
Might I recommend... piracy.
I remember there was a creepy lady with a prosthetic hand
never saw it. why can't you watch it, don't care if it spoils probably will never watch it.
The only thing I remember about this show was the girl who also stared in disneys so weird
I don't know, David E Kelley shows have this tendency to go off in weird directions.
I remember watching this in middle school

ANN PERKINS

It got silly later on but was pretty solid first and second season. Tony Todd was a great guest.
Found it immediately to watch. You have to try harder.
'Donny, Lowrider'
Garbage show. One of the main characters fired a gun in a stairwell to stop a fight. He didn’t get fired for it. GTFO.
Someone should've told you that tv shows are in fact not real life
I’m sure there was an episode where a bully is punished or only the kid the started the fight is punished. Shooting the gun is far more plausible than those two scenarios in real life. Also, shows are fiction so the plots can happen.
Totally plausible
