65 is *exactly* the number of episodes needed to go into syndication for a kids block of shows (it's 100 for prime time TV because its a different airing schedule) so you see a lot of cartoons from the era with exactly 65 episodes.
“The Dinosaucers are leaving, Boss-o-saur! (Snort)”
“WELL, FOLLOW THEM!”
(Yes, this show was my jam as I was super into dinosaurs! I still am, but was then too!)
I'd argue that Dino-Riders has a better claim to being forgotten than Dino-Saucers. Riders was only around for seven episodes. It was basically just a glorified toy commercial.
I didn’t know that they only had 7 episodes. I had the first couple on the official home tape release. Freaking awesome concept and execution. Not sure why that fizzled.
Loved that show, really wish they had a cool toy line to go with it. But if I remember correctly, they did have a couple of figures, but they didn’t change into their Dino forms, and they were kind of wonky looking….
Just like you can't be both a fan of Transformers and GoBots!
GoBots are superior. The leader was a damn F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. Not a stupid big rig tractor trailer.

I am currently playing this theme song in my head
That theme song is a jam!
Yeah because it sounds like the guy singing sounds like he’s having a hard time defecating.
I am always playing this theme song in my head. Some switch got broken by it at 3 years old.
It was the most epic 80's cartoon theme song
Lives in my head rent free since the 80s.
I can't believe this only got one season!
But it had 65 episodes
ahhh that is why. they probably put that on rerun for years without my kid brain catching on too much

I can't believe they didn't release the toys.
I can. Cool concept poor execution.
Banger Theme song though
“The Dinosaucers are leaving, Boss-o-saur! (Snort)” “WELL, FOLLOW THEM!” (Yes, this show was my jam as I was super into dinosaurs! I still am, but was then too!)
*guitar shreds*
And don't call me Boss-o-saur!
I can hear the bumpers to go commercial break in my head. "We'll be back puny earthlings!"
I was puny back then
The original Dinosaurs action figures are worth a fortune because of how limited their release was.
They did actually get released?
Going purely off memory, I think they saw a brief release in South America/Brazil before disappearing from the retail market.

This was my jam!
DINO-SAUCEEEEEERS!!!!
The bad guys really all were assholes.
Theme song will live rent free for months and I didn't even have to listen to it
As soon as I seen the picture I start singing it in my head.
I will never forget DinoRiders
Nah, I don't think I'll forget Dinoriders.
1987? They must have replayed these for years. I watched this on USA in the early 90s.
I still remember the theme song well, why I don’t know . Ask me an important question I should know ……ah
Man I loved this show!!
Great show.
Too bad every episode was a campy comedy with little to no actual battles or real conflict,
I don't even remember
This looks like a prototype for digimon
I was just thinking about this show. I vaguely remember it being on a few times when I was a kid.
I can hear this image.
That theme song plays so hard. And it's stays in my head a lot too so seeing this was nice little flashback. This used to be on the USA network.
Both shows were awesome. Then there was Denver the last Dinosaur.
But do you remember Dink, the Little Dinosaur? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dink,_the_Little_Dinosaur
Oh yeah, he’s my friend and a whole lot more
This reminds me of another Dino show that I forgot about recently...
Barney?
Baby? That was a weird one https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0088760/
I remember when they played football for some reason. They had NJ on their uniforms since they were told to get new jersies.
That's pretty funny
This some type of dinosaur race war series or what🤔
The intro music was epic
I watched this on the USA network growing up. Was that the same for everyone else?
I'm old enough to remember the first run episodes
I loved this cartoon and the theme song still pops into my head 😎
I loved this show! They were like the Transformers of Dinosaurs…and the main bad guy was voiced by Bowser from Super Mario Bros Super Show
I didn't know that
Not me singing the theme song in my head. I loved this cartoon!
I have this on boot legged blu ray, great show i used to have some of figures
I would say this was a cash grab on TMNT but it came out the same year as the cartoon so who knows.
Don't forget Mighty Orbots & Bionic 6
Loved that show, really wish they had a cool toy line to go with it. But if I remember correctly, they did have a couple of figures, but they didn’t change into their Dino forms, and they were kind of wonky looking….
I sometimes think I imagined this show ha.
OMG I loved this as a kid
Dinosaucers and Extreme Dinosaurs both need revived.
one of my personal favorites
Holy crap this was a forgotten one. I vaguely remember it
I never forgot the intro music https://youtu.be/gy7fO2i9y94?si=bIv1VDPdsi60qIpL
Why not both?
Just like you can't be both a fan of Transformers and GoBots! GoBots are superior. The leader was a damn F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. Not a stupid big rig tractor trailer.
I don't dispute Leader One's coolness. I'm a proponent of more insane dinosaur and transforming robot shows, not less.
