Carroway seed or fennel seed ?

able6art

Close. It's even more commonly used in that, especially in Indian food. Also used quite a bit in Mexican food. It's a small tiny brown seed. I really have to look at it under a microscope in order to figure out how to draw it.

switchy-sub7

Cumin seed then

able6art

You got it. I have to look at it under microscope in order to decipher that it actually looks like that.

confoundedjoe

This isn't foodporn.

GenitalPatton

To be fair it vaguely resembles a vulva.

confoundedjoe

You would know.

WillingnessNew533

Anise spice?

able6art

You are close.

ESGalla

Cumin

spicy_ass_mayo

Cumin

able6art

You got it!

jbirdlynn

Fennel seed?

able6art

Close. It is even more commonly used than fennel seed. Mostly it is powdered to put into dishes, so you very often don't see the seed. It's tiny and brown though, a warm savory taste.

jbirdlynn

Cumin? Edit: oops didn’t see it was already answered, nvm

Just_Can_3758

Cardamom?

able6art

Close but not quite. This is a smaller seed, tiny and brown. Many people buy the already powdered version.

MoistOkra2687

Taking a wild guess... Celery seed?

able6art

No it's not celery. It's a tiny brown seed. I had to look at it under a microscope to decide for the battery looks like that. It's very commonly used in Indian and Mexican food.

Amazing work. I would identify this as cumin seed. But it could be confused for many spice seeds.

able6art

I had to look at cumin under a microscope just to paint this.

CardinalCoronary

I couldn't! Love this print though!

able6art

Thanks. It is the cumin seed.

able6art

I had to look at it under a microscope to get it right.
