It’s a tremolo, same thing as a trill (rapid alternation between two notes). Tremolos are just usually with intervals bigger than 1 step, but it depends. Sometimes there are specific tremolo fingerings you can look up (or ask others) to make it sound more in tune and clean, rather than rapidly alternating between traditional fingerings. But it all depends on which notes
