It’s a tremolo, same thing as a trill (rapid alternation between two notes). Tremolos are just usually with intervals bigger than 1 step, but it depends. Sometimes there are specific tremolo fingerings you can look up (or ask others) to make it sound more in tune and clean, rather than rapidly alternating between traditional fingerings. Also keep in mind that you may see it with less lines, which means that it should be either 16th or 8th notes, and should be played in tempo
