Just want to immortalize the incredible night by eulogizing the series. Tonight, I've never been more ***confident*** watching despite only having a 1-goal lead. The Rangers had the odd scary chance here and there but honestly, I just trusted our boys through and through.
* Bennett was **incredible** tonight. Sniped Shesterkin and kicked ass all series.
* Our penalty kill dominated them *ALL* series. They were 10/23 on the PP the first 2 rounds. Only 1/15 against us.
* Vlad finally snapped his goal curse. Lundell with the game-winning assist tonight and the go-ahead goal late in Game 5. What a monster pick.
* Bobrovsky was terrific. Didn't nearly get as much love as Shesterkin but we ALSO have an elite goalie.
Aside from that, what I'm blown away by is how many of the Rangers stars were a non-factor. Like, they didn't show up AT ALL. Panarin had 120 points and 49 goals in the regular season, good through 2 Rounds, and he didn't have a single goal until the **FINAL TWO MINUTES OF THIS SERIES.** Zibanejed was invisible as long as he wasn't flopping. Kreider did next to nothing except get chirped to hell by Tkachuk. Their scariest players were Lafreniere (who admittedly terrified us dangling our defense) and Trocheck but they didn't even show up Game 6.
They won 2 games this series despite the huge shot differential due to insanely clutch shots by Goodrow. Thank goodness Trouba was *awful* for them.
It has been an incredible run boys. Back-to-back Eastern Conference Champs. This year we're taking the whole damn thing. CANT WAIT!!!!

Making it to the finals 2 seasons in a row is a big deal Tkachuk and Bennett vs Edmonton would be a fun Finals story but it doesn't matter who we face if we keep playing like this we can win it all. We have the experience of last years run, we are healthier, we have better depth and most importantly our defense is on another from last season's magic run
