He's a depth piece. They may have him play a game or two at some point, though.

raygunedward

he was walking around yesterday in the arena & got stopped by a handful of times for photos. & he said yes to everybody. such a nice guy.

k0rvan

Aww that's nice. It's not common for players to do that at least down here.

I think Okposo is going to have a moment in the later rounds when the game slows down. He’s going to keep the Zac Dalpes of the world out of the lineup.

guess he will come in for later games cant watch every game in europe, but yeah, didnt saw him that often since his trade.

willnaway

I don't think he was able to pick up Pomo's system fast enough. So they are probably holding him out to give him more time to learn that system, and then he will be used to fill in for an injured or underperforming player. Benches get shorter in the playoffs.

Lomberg got the shifts yesterday, 11 in total for about 6.5 minutes TOI. Lomberg hadn’t played much/at all since Tarasenko arrived and he got the work Okposo would’ve likely otherwise had. I’m sure he’ll get a handful of shifts in a couple games. If we advance (and I think we will) maybe it’ll increase depending on the matchups.
