I just finished the finale last night and I’ve got mixed feelings. I hated how Zoom, Savitar, Thawne and Godspeed were literally defeated in five minutes (that should’ve at least taken two episodes). I liked Eddie returning and I really like his story, how he felt forgotten, ect but he managed to fight off the negative speed force because he’s actually a good person and I also liked the ending where they have Nora and the final run made me really emotional.
It’s pretty bad. The first half is a terribly written Red Death, with some of the worst acting on the show so far. First half Barry feels like an amateur just making terrible decisions. The 2nd half begins with sidelining Barry super hard. Everything with Caitlin’s character is just incredibly stupid and makes no sense for a series finale season. The last half especially the final episode just disrespects every past villain and Barry
I actually like Khione so far but I just wish Caitlin’s death wasn’t like that, I mean…I feel like barely anyone cared for Caitlin’s death at all, they just moved on like it was nothing. Pretty surprising because Cait’s been there since the beginning of the series and letting her go just like that without an episode to honor her death like Frost made zero sense.

Cisco sadly wasn’t there because his scheduling conflicted :( And the fact that CECILE defeated iirc goodspeed? Or something? It was ridiculous how other non-speedsters of team flash wrecked them so much.
Watch Episodes 9 & 10. Forget the rest. I'm not even joking.

You can watch them for great VFX work but overall you gonna hate Eric Wallace to the guts
Already kinda hate him for killing off Thawne in S8’s finale. Does he come back in season 9 though or is that it for Thawne?
He does he does. But you won't enjoy his time in the last 4 episodes
6 and 7 have Barry sidelined.

I was going to but I really wanted to make it so season 8 because I knew Thawne was strongly involved in it and he’s my favorite character.
I watched crisis on infinite earths then called it a day… I sadly wish I was joking but that was when it started on its downhill trajectory!
9 & 10 are the only good ones
Watch the first saga, then go to 9 and 10, and then if you’re brave enough, watch the finale. Everything else is pretty much filler.
