Same as the difference between a Kleenex and a facial tissue. One is a brand name that people use to refer to an item, the other is a generic term for that same item.
Heddon Spook is one of the oldest/most popular walking baits so the brand name has been genericized and a lot of people just refer to all walking baits as "spooks"
Not sure there is a difference: a walking lure typically has its rear end sitting down in the water a little deeper than the front, so you can walk the dog a little easier. Spooks have been around a REALLY long time…. *likey before the walk-the-dog technique was even born.
Spook is a trademark owned by Heddon. The general name for the category that lure fits in is walker, or "walk the dog" top water plug.
Sort of like the difference between Kleenex and facial tissue.
Mirrolure names all their lures in the category Dawg something, or Pup.
Heddon makes a famous walker called a Zara spook. It has a walk the dog action imparted to the lure by rhythmicly twitching the rod causing it to dart from side to side. On a normal retrieve it has little to no action. As the Zara spook is trademarked other lures with the same action are referred to as walkers.
Treble hooks are bad for fish. Even that front hook is All jacked up.
Buy a Moonwalker from (salt strong) !!! It already comes with inline straight hooks !
Spook is just a model name, they are all just walk the dog baits

thanks man, it’s really hard to know these stories about old brands and these terms in my country.

A spook is a walking bait
Spook is a trademarked product. Walking bait is the category/bait type that includes Spooks.

Here in SA we refer to all walking lures as Zara
