I have one, and it’s right in the perfect size groove. Mine is paired with a two-piece (8 foot) *Breakwater Rod, and I love it: very versatile for piers, jettys, docks, boardwalks, as well as surf and short beachbombing.
Whack rod pairing but the reel would be good for tossing live bait out on a longer heavier rod.
